It's still Valentine month, and I couldn't resist these sweet kitties with their heart shaped tail. I knew it had to be a love-themed card, although this is generic enough to be for a wedding, anniversary, "just because" love, or Valentine!

These "Jazz Cats" are just TOO fun. My 5th grader is trying trumpet this year in band (their "introductory band year") so I knew I had to play with this sweet kitty.

DT Spotlight - TraceyMo

Today's spotlight is brought to us by Tracey of Mowbray Designs!

Happy Monday, So it my day today!

I have used this lovely bath-time-kitty. So have kept it very simple coloured with grey & bv copcis. Added some glitter on the bubble. Cut out in a label shape & matted on to the silver. The backing paper I have made in Craft Artist just using one of the brush which is bubbles! Matted this on to navy & white base. My other extras on this card are the sentiment in silver, blue bakers twine & the pearl dots. 

This is a great card to just say thanks for the spa day or my lovely bath stuff maybe!!

Here is one of the kitty cats, this is with the birdie. You get 4 clear stamps with the bundle. So sweet!!

So coloured with copics in browns & pinks. Added some glitter. All this on to a white circle which is cut with a spellbinder die & I have ink the edges. Next is the bigger circle in pink on to a 8 by 8 card.

My extras are the flowers from my friend Susan,the gorgeous swirl,pink sparky gems & the sentiment to finish.

For my project today, I created a quick and easy Valentine's Day card using the cute "S & P Kitties".
I went with a different color scheme than your traditional red and pink.
The card design is pretty simple and I really like the way it turned out.

I needed two cards pretty quickly so I used my fail safe - use the same image, but use different colours.  My image of choice for this month was - Happy Birthday Kitty Bee.  It's so cute!

(The light in my house this morning was terrible so the images are not so good - apologies for that!)

Aloha Friday Challenge #2

Aloha no!!!  and welcome back to our Aloha Friday Challenges at Kitty Bee Designs. Thanks for joining us in our second challenge - And once again, just a quick introduction to Kitty Bee Designs:

Aloha, I am Ruth, the owner and creator of Kitty Bee Designs. Contrast has always been a part of my life. Kitty Bee Designs helped me express that contrast in ways I'd never imagine. An accountant by day and a 'doodle' artist by night. The love of art and drawing has always been a relentless passion of mine. With these whimsical characters, with a little dash of island flair, I am able to share these with you to enjoy and help you come up with your greatest creations. At least close to it. :). 

I am a mother of three rambunctious teens, and mother of a few kitties (my muse), a friend, a sister, a daughter, a life partner and an artist. Kitty Bee Designs always has something new. Stay tuned!

Aloha Friday Inspiration

Hi all - I realized that I never properly introduced myself!!

My name is Kelli, but I am often called "cee" (it's a long story) and usually go by "kel". I am a 30-yo happily married mother of 2 boys, lovingly referred to as Big A (9) & Little A (5) on my blog, Scraps & photoGRAFFS.  I am also mama to 2 puppies and one pretty(-old) little kitty, all adopted from our local shelter. All 5 kids are rotating subjects of my scrapbooking pages and inspire the supplies I pick up for my papercrafting.

I love to read, work in my garden (which my puppies have literally eaten up!!), meditate, make/listen to music, cook/bake and study. 

wait, did she say study?!? 

haha! One of my life goals is to be multilingual and I am barely conversational in both Japanese and Korean, teaching myself and learning as I go.  I am also on a short break from college, where I am pursuing concurrent degrees in History and Asian Studies.

I have been papercrafting since 2003 when I got pregnant with Big A. I like to call myself 'a scrapbooker who also makes cards,' but might also have to start calling myself a cardmaker to justify my stamp collection!  I also knit, sew, and will probably start crocheting because I can't get myself to give away my grandmother's crocheting yarns!!
