Hi Everyone!
Happy New Year! Although Christmas just passed, I've been in the Valentine's Day spirit already. There's just so much to create and I'm really loving all the PINK. Here's a few favors I created with the new Balsa Boxes I purchased at my local Michaels. I'm really loving the new shapes and so fun to alter. I also created with two of my favorite Tim Holtz dies. You can make so many fun projects with the Movers and Shapers In the Bag and Pocket Envelope die. Have fun creating!

Christmas Sleigh Mini
Hello Everyone!
It's been a long time since I've posted on my blog and I do miss it. I have to say, everyday life and preparing my oldest for college, senior pictures, driving, and so much more is a ton of work. heehee But, I'm enjoying every minute of it. I just have to make sure I takes notes because I have three more girls that will go through the same thing. Lol!
I really miss making mini albums. I've been to hooked on my mixed media projects that I haven't had the chance to stop and make a mini. With Christmas around the corner, I thought it would be fun to make a sleigh mini using my AccuCut 3D Sleigh Die. Though this box was designed to create a 3D Sleigh box, I knew I could make a mini out of it. I basically die cut out 6 sleighs with medium weight chipboard, adhered design paper to both the front and back. Then, I adhered another design paper on top of both sides only adding adhesive to the edges to create a pocket. I filled the pockets using my other dies and created some tags with the design paper. I just loved how it turned out. This will make great Christmas gifts for my family.

Birthday Explosion Box
Hi Everyone!
My nephew Dominic is turning 4 this year and I wanted to make a fun project for him. I wanted a mini album, cake, box and something to hold his giftcard. This project was perfect and incorporated all the things I wanted to create. The papers I used is from the Basic Grey Shine On collection and the cake box is Sizzix ScoreBoards XL Cake Box die.
I made the outside of the box simple by adding a jumbo monogram letter from the coordinating die cut pack and tied some white seam biding around the lid.
I wanted Dominic to have a cake and also thought it would be fun place to add a giftcard inside. I added a few embellishments on the top pages and kept it really simple therefore my cousin can just add his photos on top. There's three layers of design paper in the explosion box which is perfect for my cousin to add photos of his first 3 years.
On top of the cake I layered a canvas die cut from the collection and created a rosette using the Tim Holtz Alterations Paper Rosettes Die. I tied some bakers twine in yellow and white and place a I Am Roses flower on top. I stamped Happy Birthday on the design paper and created a banner. I then die cut the number four from my new Tim Holtz Word Play Alphabet die with chipboard. I colored the chipboard using the Faber Castell Design Memory Crafts Color Gelatos in Pistachio and added some glitter on top.

Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft Stamper's Big Brush Pens
Hi Everyone!
I'm excited to share with you Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft Stamper's Big Brush Pens. The India ink won't bleed through your projects which is perfect for those of you that love creating journals. I love it especially because I love to use Composition notebooks. The nib is very sturdy and will not fray. I love that its waterproof and archival therefore once the image is completely dry, you can layer other mediums on top. Here I share with you several ways I like to use the Stampers Big Brush Pens.
The Stamper's Big Brush Gift Set comes with 15 beautiful colors and packaged in a wonderful slide-out storage box that's easy to store away.
Here's several pens I used for this tutorial. (Light Green 171, May Green 170, Permanent Green Olive 167, Nougat 178, Scarlet Red 118)
First I apply the Nougat 178 Stamper's Big Brush pen onto the frame clear stamp.
Next, I apply Permanent Green Olive 167 onto the crown and head of the bird. Then, I apply May Green 170 onto the chest and feet. Last, I apply Light Green 171 onto the bird's back. The pens don't cross contaminate, therefore no need to worry if your pen gets onto another color. Just need to rub the nib onto some cardstock and its good to go.
To add some layer to the bird, I stamped a script image using the Scarlet Red 118 Stamper's Big Brush.
I also created a splatter background by taking my pen and applying some ink onto the clear stamp block. I used my waterpen to create a small puddle then tapped the waterpen over my image.
Here's another fun project I created using both the Color Gelatos™ and Stamper's Big Brush Pens. I first applied the Color Gelatos™ onto the Canvas Banner and stamped several images using the Big Brush Pens. Then, I fussy cut several images from Graphic 45 A Ladies Diary collection and loved how it turned out.
Disclosure: I was compensated for my time to design and create this project. All Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft products were provided.

Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft Color Gelatos™
Hi Everyone!
I'm excited to be a part of Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft Brand Ambassador Team for 2012. This week I will share two fun projects I created with their products. I thought it would be fun to create a Dress form Mixed Media painting onto a canvas panel. I really loved how easy it was to apply several Color Gelatos™ onto the canvas and simply take my paint brush and brush it on. I place my dress form on the center of the panel and also stamped several images using some of my favorite stamps. I just loved how it turned out and enjoyed working with the Color Gelatos™.

Hi Everyone!
I was so happy when I received an email from Webster's Pages about their Warehouse Sale. I can't believe how much you can get for just $25. I couldn't wait to dive into all the goodies and had to create a couple of projects. I created a layout of my sweet niece Bella and incorporated the super fun photo wheel and Tim Holtz Alterations Word Play Alphabet die by Sizzix. There are so many fun projects I can't wait to create. I also create a birthday card for Natalie using the fun Scallop Circle 3D Pop-Up Card die. I just love all the goodies that came in this box. I'm looking forward to the next Warehouse Sale.

Balloon Sophie 3D Pop-Up Card
Hi Everyone!
Here's a fun Sophie Balloon Pop-Up card I created for Maddy's birthday. I used the new Serendipidity and Shine On collection by Basic Grey and Sizzix Scallop Circle 3-D Pop-Up Card die. The possibilties are endless with these pop-up cards and there's so many different ones I can't wait to create. I added a banner using my Fiskars Jenny Bowlin punch and stamped "Happy" using my the Studio G Thick Alpha stamp set. I really loved how the banner punch coordinated with the banners on the design paper. To create the grass, I used my Fiskars Grass Edge punch and added a strip of design paper on the back which I folded in half and place a poodle die cut in front. I used my Stammpin Up Label Punch and stamped the sentiment "Birthday" on some design paper from my Studio G Birthday Hello stamp set. For the front of the card, I added some coordinating canvas and cardstock border diecuts and layed some pretty trim I purchased from my local Hobby Lobby. On the bottom corner I layed two flower die cuts and placed a cupcake on top. I'm excited to give Maddy her birthday card and now I off to make one for Natalie.

Wedding Favors: I Am Roses "I Do" YTContest
Hi Everyone!
Come join I Am Roses in another You Tube Contest. The challenge is Monochromatic and the theme is " I Do ". I thought it would be fun to create some wedding favors. I created a purse favor using the Sizzix Bigz Pro Purse w/ Flower Cut-Out Bag die and added a gorgeous White Flower, White Puffy Flowers and White Rose Leaves which I added glitter on top. I also sprayed the flowers with Lindy Stamp Gang's Glitz Spritz in Scintillating Silver. I then tied some white seam binding to close the purse. This purse is perfect as a wedding favor and has a ton of space to fill in some wonderful goodies inside. The other favor I created was a wedding dress box favor. I used my QuicKutz Wedding dress die and created a small box in the center. I added my favorite Small White Flowers on the front of the dress and added some glitter to belt to coordinate with the purse favor. I then tied a bow on the back and left the white seam binding a bit longer to look like the wedding dress train. Be sure to stop by I Am Roses Challenge Blog and see all the gorgeous projects the design team members created.

Pie Box Favors
Hi Everyone!
During this time of year, I ask my girls what favors they would like for me to make for their best friends at school as a little gift. Ashley wanted to give her three best friends each a pie box. I used my Sizzix XL Pie Box die along with two of my favorite Prima Fairy Belle and Song Bird Collection. I had purchased awhile back this adorable Cutie Pie rubber stamp from my local Michaels and thought it would be perfect, especially because her friends are so adorable and sweet. The pie boxes on the right and left were made with the Fairy Belle Collection and the pie box in the middle with the Song Bird Collection. I thought it would be cute to add some I Am Roses flowers to symbolize the whip cream and just love how it turned out. Listed below are the flowers I incorporated to each of the pie boxes.
Plum Curly Roses
Purple Color Cherry Blossoms
White Paper Flowers
Brown Cherry Blossoms
Brown Small Skeleton leaves
Small White Maple Leave (No Stem)
White Mini Rose Buds
Mixed Orange Tangerine WhiteGardenia Curly Petals 2"/ 5 cm
White Puffy Flowers

I'm so happy to share with you the lastest die I designed for AccuCut Craft. With Summer around the corner I thought it would be fun to create a Camping Album Die Set. I have so many fun memories and look forward to creating new one with my husband and girls. Be sure to stop by AccuCut Craft for their 20% off all new dies that were released this May 2012 and use the code MAY by Monday, May 21, 2012. Happy shopping!

Suitcase Note Box
Hi Everyone!
I thought it would be fun to create a Suitcase Note Box for my sister. She had gone on a business trip to Hawaii this week and knew this would be perfect for her office desk. I used both my Sizzix Tim Holtz Vintage Valise and Box #3 Die to create the suitcase. I added some loose paper and stamped these gorgeous Hawaiian images from these stamps I received from my cousin that used to live in Hawaii. I finally got to use them and I love it. I wanted to give the feel of Hawaii on the front of the suitcase by incorporating bright fun colors from the G.C.D Studios Funhouse collection and created a beach theme since my sister loves the beach. I used my Fiskars cloud punches in two different sizes and added pop dots for dimension. I added some Yellow trim that I purchased from my local Hobby Lobby and some gorgeous laser cuts from Lindy Stamp Gang. The umbrella and chair are just too adorable. Of course it wouldn't be complete without some sand and seashells. I layered a lot of beautiful I Am Roses on and around Sa Crafters pink rosette. I incorporated some Pink Gardenia Curly Petals, White Roses that I sprayed with the new Lindy Stamp Gang's Nantucket Pearls Salt Water Taffy and Hawaiian Island Magical Mai Tai. I then added some Medium White Poinsettia, Foam Head White Color Stamen . This was really fun to create.

Sassy Sophie Picture Frame
Hi Everyone! Here's a picture frame I created with Sweet Nothing's Stamp Co. Sassy Sophie for Ashley's teacher. Its that time of the year to create some projects for my girls teachers as a thank you gift. I love how adorable Sophie is and how perfect she fits on the frame. I colored Sassy Sophie with my Copic markers and paper pieced her outfit with theSoul Food collection by Melody Ross. I've been into bright colors lately and love all the colors on each of the design papers. I found these adorable Shabby picture frames at my local Target and added some pink rosette trim and I Am Roses flowers. Also, I plan on adding a picture of Ashley and her teacher in the picture frame. These make really fun and cute gifts.

Baby Bib Album
Hi Everyone!
I'm so happy to share with you this special album I created for my sister-in-law Carmen for Mother's Day. This is her first Mother's Day with my adorable niece Maria Isabella. I just love her so much. I wanted to create a special album with all the aadorable pictures they sent me while they were in the hospital and when they arrived home. I'm so super happy for the both of them and been waiting for this special day to arrive. I created the album with my AccuCut Baby Bib Die and K & Company's New Blossom collection. The papers were fun and bright and perfect for this album. I just loved all the sentiments that were incorporated in this collection. Every page was just so much fun to create and I enjoyed every minute. As I was creating each page, I had a huge smile on my face the entire time. She's the cutest ever and I can't wait to hold her.
May IARCC
Hi Everyone!

Here, I created a favor treat bag for all the mom's I will see on Mother's Day this weekend. I used Sizzix Big Pro Bags with Handles #3 Die and K & Company's Abrianna Collection. I loved how the collection had Turquoise and Purple in the design paper. I first layered some of my favorite trim from Hobby Lobby, then added some design paper which I used my Fiskars Scallop Eyelet Punch. I also embellished the bag with Recollections die cuts from Michaels and added some pop dots to add some dimension. I then added a gorgeous I Am Roses White Flower, Two Toned Turquoise Cherry Blossom, Two Toned Purple Cherry Blossom, Mini Turquoise Roses and added Karla's Brown leaf spray. HI Everyone!
Here's a layout I created of Ashley for the Precious Remembrance Shop's Saturday Creations. I used the Prima Yuki Collection and fusssy cut images from the design paper. I love all the fun colors in this collection. I thought it would fun to add a calender from the Calendar Stamp Set and just stamp the day we had gone to the Carnival. I love that you can create your own calendar and have the option to add all the days or just the one day. This stamp set is also perfect to add to your journal pages. I just love my Fiskars Cloud punches and had to add some clouds onto this layout. On the bottom left corner I added a I Am Roses white Rose in between two of the flowers I fussy cut from the design paper. I then stamped the Adventures sentiment onto some design paper and used my EK Success Ticket punch. I had fun creating this layout. Thank you Dyane for having me as a guest designer for the month of April. Your stamp sets are adorable.

Polaroid Camera
Hi Everyone!
I'm SO super excited about my new Custom Polaroid Camera Die that I designed with AccuCut Custom Shape Pros. I've been wanting to create this die for long time and wasn't sure what took me so long. Heehee My inspiration for creating this die was, I have an old photo of my dad with my brothers and sister when we were younger and its the only photo I have of the five of us. My dad had a Polaroid camera and took a lot of pictures using it. This happens to only be the one I have and I cherish it dearly. I had the photo for a long time that the top layer of the Polaroid film tore off, but I managed to save it and scan it on my computer. You can see the cracks in between the picture. I just love this photo so much. Creating this camera was a perfect way for me to capture the same special memories of my family that I can keep for a long time and not worry about the top layer peeling off. This way I can add any of my favorite photos and just layer the Polaroid Film die cut on top. Its even cuter when you add design paper. I can also stamp, emboss, paint and so much more on it. I was lucky enough to find an old Polaroid at my local Antique store, but wow I can't believe how much the film cost now a days. Now, I can have as many pictures as I want. I created two different sizes and thought it would be also cute to have a smaller size to accent on my pages. I always love to create a cover for my custom dies and the great thing is that I can use this die in so many ways. Below are several projects I created using my Polaroid Camera Die.
Here's the picture of my dad, Chris, Allan, Rachel and me when we were younger. Check out our groovy couch in the background. Heehee
I wanted to create an actual Polaroid Camera and this was fun to make. The collection I used is Bo Bunny Country Garden.
I thought it would be fun to create a card and have the Polaroid Film come out as if a picture was just taken. The collection I used for this project was Colorbok Antique Paperie.
Of course I just had to create a mini album. I brought three of my girls to the park and had a fun picnic. These pictures where just perfect for this mini. The three collections I used were My Minds Eye Be Happy, Howdy Doody and Bo Bunny Country Garden.
