Cheery Lynn Winter White

The challenge this week at Cheery Lynn is winter white.   I used their gorgeous Heart to Heat doily set for this card and on the small center heart I spread glue and prisma glitter to enhance it.  I added the pretty Victorian Romance Flourish to the top of the heart and made  a small flower of out of the cuties 2 to finish this card.

Lots of layers, Cheery Lynn challenge

The beautiful card was made with all Cheery Lynn dies. the background dies are the classic french flair and scalloped french flair.  The hear to heart doilies are both from the same set. The carnivale border even has little hearts in it and the mini fanciful flourish and medium and mini rose strips made the flower with the beautiful new rose leaf strip to finish it.  I took a gold pen and edged everything and used gold peel off sayings on this card.

Bring back beautiful, Love challenge

Our bring back beautiful challenge is love this month at Flourishes.  I used two of their new sets on this card.  The heart candy is from  the Love sweet Love set.  The saying is from the Heart lines set.  The beautiful oval is from the oval doily stacker set from Cheery Lynn designs.  I cut it out of cryogen white paper and then distressed it with Victorian velvet distress ink.  I used the cute circle flowers from the Marianne die set from Sweet stamps.  The leaves are prima and a cute flower peel off for the center.  The pretty string of hearts are from Michaels.  Copics to color the image and some pretty silver holographic peel off border.  The background is a 5x7 cuttlebug folder.  I will also be adding this card to the Belli challenge and Stampin Sister in Christ.

FLLCFEB12, black/white and one other color

Our challenge this week is black/white and one other color, on Flourishes blog.  Well I was doing great until I realized the flowers had to have some leaves around them so I added the green leaves.  This love sweet love stamp set was perfect for that.  I just received this beautiful dutch doily frame from Cheery Lynn designs and I thought it fit with the red/white/black theme very well.  Obviously I cut one set from red and one from white and then trimmed them to match up.  The spellbinders label 1 worked for the image and backing on the front.  I used some red sparkle ribbon for the corners and bow and prima flowers and leaves from Michaels. I'm also entering this into the Priscilla's Midnight madness challenge.

Hearts and roses valentine

This pretty heart shaped card is for the sweethearts challenge over on Cheery Lynn Blog.   I used the backing plate that come with the heart to heart doily set.  There are the cut out dies and then solid dies for backing on the two largest hearts.   For the center heart I used the smaller size from that set and just drew around it and made my own backing plate.  I ran the top piece thru my vagabond with the 5x7 heart cuttlebug folder and using the brayer and Victorian velvet distressed in I made the Belleek background. The sentiment is from Flourishes new release.  I added some leaves and ferns from a MS punch and some pretty little roses from Prima to finish the card.  Be sure to check out the Cheery Lynn blog and join them, you may win a gift certificate for some of the gorgeous dies!!!!  I'm also adding this to the Stampin Sisters in Christ challenge.

Our daily bread design love recipe

Our challenge on ODBD is to use pink and white, I'm using the Belleek technique again for the background with TH victorian velvet distressed ink.  Pink silk paper and spellbinders scalloped and straight hearts for the die cuts.   The saying is from ODBD Kind Hearts collection. I added some mother of pearl peel off borders and flower and leaves from Prima.

Just Rite For the Love

I love this new rose flower set from the  Sympathy set from Just Rite Stamps.   I used the backing plate from Cheery Lynn Designs hearts die set, it doesn't show the backing plate but it comes with this set.  I used the scalloped heart from Spellbinders to stamp my image on and colored it with copics. I added the saying and trimmed everything in a silver pen. I punched some leaves and ferns from a Martha Stewart punch to finish this card.

Center step Belleek Valentine

One of the challenges that I made this card for is the center step card challenge on Flourishes blog.   I started the card with Stardream white gold card stock, it's a gorgeous cream with gold shimmer. I inked up my Cuttlebug for the layers with Antique linen distressed ink and ran it thru the machine. This is for the Technique challenge on Split Coast which is to make a card like Belleek pottery.    This beautiful heart stamp is From the heart set from Flourishes latest release. I stamped it with Antique Linen and cut it out with the spellbinders straight heart die, they fit this image perfectly.  I edged all the layers with a Krylon 18k gold pen and then added some peel off lace and pearls along the bottom and some pretty flowers, butterflies from Michaels. The leaves and ferns are punched out of the white gold CS with a MS punch, and then I added some antique linen ink on them.    The letters are gold glitter letters from Michaels.  I'm also entering this into the Heart Challenge at Stampin Sisters in Christ.

Stampin Sisters in Christ Heart challenge

Our challenge this week at Stampin Sisters in Christ is make a heart the focal point on our card.  I just received this gorgeous new heart from Flourishes and couldn't wait to play. The saying is part of this new set.  This beautiful Sweet nothings paper is from the 123 Create at Flourishes also and I love this whole paper pack.  I used one of the papers in the pack and stamped the gorgeous heart on it. Then I colored it with a copic maker RV34.  I used spellbinders heart die to cut it out and then added the spellbinders heart circle die under it.  The butterflies and bottom heart border are a MS punch.  Added some pearls to the butterflies to finish them.

Cheery Lynn Beautiful Borders

Beautiful borders is the theme for the Cheery Lynn challenge this week.  I LOVE Cheery Lynn dies, they are made in America and they really cut well.  I used this gorgeous Heartland America heart with the background heart behind it. The ribbon border was used along the bottom with some soft yellow ribbon thru it. I added some tiny hearts from the cut out and some pretty pink heart gems to finish it.  The Be Mine is from Michaels sheets of glitter letters.

The gorgeous heart dies are two layered, the largest one is Heart to Heart Doily   the smaller one is
Heartland America.  the beautiful background paper is from JoAnn's and it's an adhesive fabric paper. I edged it with gold peel off borders from Pop up templates and added some pearls, a heart gem, flower and leaves from Michaels.  I knew the minute I saw these gorgeous lacey heart dies that this heart stamp was going to be perfect for these.

Creative Belli Challenge 109 anything beginning with the letter "P"

I chose Purple for my challenge on Creative Belli Blog.  I used some purple swirl paper that unfortunately I can't find any more. I guess Paper Parachute went out of business. The pretty hearts and corner paper is from The Glitter Girls in the UK, the paper is an irridescent tissue paper and I glue it to cardstock so that it works better in the punches. The shimmer and changing colors on this paper is gorgeous.   The heat dies are spellbinders, corners are Marianne dies and Martha Stewart butterfly punch.

Go with all your heart

I love this image from Flourishes, the technique is painting with stickles on split coast, Flourishes was to use flowers and the other challenge for them was red, pink and white. The sketch is from Priscialla's midnight madness.  I stamped the image in memento black, used copics to color it and then went over all of it with stickles, cotton candy on the flowers, lime green on the leaves and patina on the bird. I used the dies direct die cuts from Cheery Lynn designs for the shapes, gems from Michaels and ribbon from Reasonable ribbon's monthy club.  Please check out the links for these wonderful blogs and the inspiration on each of them. Reasonable ribbon is having a giveaway check it out.

Be sure and stop by Priscilla's Midnight Madness blog and see the gorgeous cards on there. It's always such a treat to the creations they come up with. I used a stamp from Impression Obsession for this card and some new Valentine papers from K&Co that were on sale at Michaels.
