Another Switch up Your Shades for Power Poppy

I'm entering this in the Power Poppy Switch up your shades challenge.  I used the vase of Azaleas stamp for this card and embossed it in detail gold and colored it with Twinkling H2O's. I fussy cut it out and attached it to the Spellbinders circles.  The border is a Sue Wilson border and I edged all the dies in a gold pen.  The flourish is a Cheery Lynn and the flowers are from Michaels and I colored them with a copic marker.  These last two card are thank you cards for my sister's memorial fund. She lost her battle with cancer a couple of weeks ago.

Sue Wilson's dies

These dies are from the Sue Wilson collection by Creative Expressions and you can get them from Joan's Garden.   Terri can order anything you want and get it fairly quick.  I used a sticky sheet under the border on this and then covered it with the glitter flakes.  I will tell you to be careful when you tape your die in place, that's why I have lace at the top and bottom of this card, the tape left a residue and then all the flakes stuck to it and made a mess, so I just covered them up with the lace and beads.

More angles like you

The world could use more angels like you thank you card is for my sister to send to her chemo nurses.  I started this 5x7 card using some new gorgeous papers from Crafting life's pieces site and used my copic airbrush system to add color around the edges.  The square turned is from Spellbinders adorning squares in soft green cardstock.  I added three layers for pretty  lacy angel from Cheery Lynn designs.  The flowers and leaves are from Michaels and I added the lace and saying.

Thanks, Kittie Kraft

I saw this gorgeous wreath on KittieKraft's blog. She also has a fabulous link to her tutorial on how to make these.  I started out using 2 circle dies to make the wreath and then layered a lot of the Martha Stewart leaves over it for the background.  Then I added some MS ferns, Cheery Lynn leaves from the Flourish Leaf Strip, and made the little flowers from the Miniature rose strip.  Added some MS butterflies, gems to the center of the flowers and butterflies and a bow.  The corners are from an EK success  punch and I added some bling to finish those.  The card is 5.5 square.  Peel off thank you in the center.
