Glam and Glitz Christmas Card

I have a card to share with you today that fits in perfectly with the current "Glam and Glitz" challenge at Squiggle stamps which you can read all about Here. We are looking for lots of glitter and shine and this is just perfect for Christmas cards. I have added lots of stickles to the image, there is glitter on some of the DP and to top it off I have also added a glitter brad in the centre of the flower along with some pretty beaded trim.

The image that have used is Snow Pals which is available Here in rubber and Here in digi format. The sketch that I have followed is the one this week at The Sweet Stop.

I do hope that you manage to play along with us with this Squiggle Stamps challenge

A Spoon Full of Sugar Challenge #162 - Birthdays

We have a new challenge for you today at A Spoon Full of Sugar and this time around we are looking for Birthday cards. We are slowing down a bit over the summer holiday time and this challenge will be running until Monday 29th August with a new one starting on 30th August and then back to our weekly slot on Tuesday 6th September.

For my card I have used one of the cute new stamps from Sugar Nellie and I think that she is really cute, a bit bigger stamp than I ahd expected it to be and perhaps a bigger card would have been better but cute nevertheless I think. The sketch is the current one at The Sweet Stop.

I hope that you have fun with this challenge.

A Spoon Full of Sugar - Challenge #155 - Here Comes Summer

Oh, I am running so late today. Busy, Busy, Busy at work and I am now packing for a couple of days away at work meetings, so this will be very brief.

We have a new challenge for you today at A Spoon Full of Sugar and this time around we are looking for summery colours papers etc. You can read all about the challenge and take a look at the gorgeous cards from the DT this week Here.

I have used a digi image from Whimsy Stamps on my card today - I think she is just gorgeous all dressed up in her sparkly swimsuit and the papers are all from a NitWit designs download. The sketch is the current one at Sweet Stop Sketches.

Well must dash, but hope that you have some fun with the challenge this week.

Pixie Circus Collection release day at Pixie Dust Studio

We have the release of the fabulous new Pixie Circus collection at Pixie Dust Studios today and all the gorgeous images pictured below are now available in the Shop now.

The image that I have chosen to use on my release day card today is Circus Princess and I think that she is just gorgeous standing there to welcome everyone to the circus. I so enjoyed working with these bright bold colours - a real change for me as I usually am happy using pastel colours. The papers that I have used are from a Nitwit collections download called Big Top.

Please pop on by the Pixie Dust blog to see some more of these gorgeous images and also you will find the links to the rest of the DT blog over on the right of my blog.

The sketch that I have followed for this card is the current one at Sweet Sketch Wednesday.

Have a great weekend.

Sweet Stop Sketch challege and playing with digi papers

I have a card to share with you today that I made at the weekend. I have had by head in books studying for a big exam that I have tomorrow as part of my Business Management course so taking a little time out over the weekend was a well needed break from the studies.

I have been using digi papers on my cards for some time now, but usually I just print them off and then cut them to size to use on my cards, but at the weekend I had a bit of fun creating a whole layout on the computer and even in this case incorporating the image before printing the whole thing off as just one layer to add to a card base. It was fun and I am sure that with a bit more practice the results could be really good. All I had to do with it when it was printed off was colour in the cute Daisy with flowers image with some copics and hey presto it was ready to attach to the backing card.

The sketch that I have followed for the card is the current one at The Sweet Stop Sketches challenge. and the papers are from a Nitwit Designs download

Well I guess that I had better get back to ther studying - wish me good luck for tomorrow and I will be back with you again soon.

So Cute!!

I have a card to share with you today featuring one of the fabulous new stamps that have been released at Nutcrafters and this one is called Bunny and Me. The papers and lettering are a download from a Sweet Shoppe Designs and I have used a Martha Stewart punch for the flowers.

I have followed the sketch this week at Sweet Stop challenge and I am also entering this card at Papertake Weekly where they are looking for three's on your card - so I have used ribbon, a charm and little pearls on my punched flowers.

I will be back tomorrow with my card for this weeks challenge at Pixie Dust Studios.
