ATC's

I haven't sat down and created some ATC's for a loooong time (I think after making 150 for them for the Tim Holtz cruise a few years ago, I thought I'd never make another one!)  But the stamps from Red Rubber Designs just had me itching to create some stamped ATC's.   Some of their vintage stamps are just perfect for this.
You can see the stamps I used below.  All papers and inks used are from RRD as well.

I want to also alert you to some big stuff coming up for RRD this weekend.  They are having their grand opening and will be celebrating with sales, prizes, contests and more!
So come and join us on Friday & Saturday, April 13-14, 2012 at the online store (http://redrubberdesigns.com) and see what RRD has to offer.   There will be new stamps, new patterned papers and more.
They are kicking off their Grand Opening Celebration with a Blog Hop by the Design Team on Friday morning.
You can also visit their blog and Facebook page (www.facebook.com/RedRubberDesigns) throughout Friday and Saturday for contests and other chances to win prize packages from Red Rubber.   Sounds like fun, doesn't it?

Details for my ATCs:   Background text for each stamp came from the Well-Defined set.   I used stamps from the Vintage Backgrounds,  Hope Perches set, Fabulous FramesFanciful Vintage, and Art Gave Her Wings.Posted by Picasa

Chunky ATC

Another Chunky ATC I created.  This time I used stamps from Artistic Outpost's new London releases to create a background sheet from which I cut the face for this ATC as well as the rosettes at the top.  Those were cut using the new Tim Holtz die.  I also added some of Tim's filmstrip ribbon, gears and spinner to embellish it.
Basically, the reminds me it's time to get my butt in gear and take that trip to London which I've always wanted to do :):)

Chunky ATCs

I wanted to share these Chunky ATC's I was inspired to make during our recent trip to Alabama to visit Pam (see previous post).  But I can't do that without saying that due to recent tornadoes and storms in her area I'm really hoping everything there is okay and it's just a matter of there being no phone or internet service.  I'll just rest a lot easier when I hear from her that things are okay.
We worked on these ATC's there and I made up a bunch more when I got back home.  I have to confess the rosettes at the top and the grungeboard flower on the front of the 2nd one were inspired by Lori.  (It's hard not to copy when you are working right next to someone:)
Totally fun to make and approved by the son as being "really cool."

ATC Notecards

I unearthed these ATC background stamps from Tim Holtz to make some mini notecards.   They've been unused for too long.  I added some images from CollageVisions and DigitalCollageSheets.

TMTA

The fun theme at Think Monday, Think ATC today (which is All In A Row) immediately made me think of this stamp from Crafty Secrets.
I also played with some of the new distress inks from Tim Holtz on this.  I absolutely love the new pink color called Victorian Velvet as well as Crushed Olive which is a green shade.
I used something much like Flower Soft for my branches but it's more of an earth elements type of thing.  Gave it a woodsy texture.  Smells quite interesting, too.
Haven't made an ATC in quite a while so it was fun to play along this week.

Think Monday, Think ATC

I honestly haven't thought about ATC's on Monday since making all the ATC's for the cruise. But just the other I had been thinking about my fruit stamps from Art Impresssions which I had not used in forever, even as a possible challenge for Tag Tuesday. But since that was the theme today at TMTA I created this ATC using one of my very oldest stamps from Art Impressions.

The background is created with alcohol inks.

TMTA

I had to go into my vintage card collection to find an image of a girl and her doll -- which is the theme for Think Monday, Think ATC's challenge this week. I shrunk it and added it to a vintage flash card from Melissa Frances.

Theme Thursday

The theme this week is Vintage Women. I used an image from CollageVisions. I placed it under an image of the Eiffel Tower
which I printed out on Vellum.
The background is an ATC stamp from Stampers Anonymous/Tim Holtz. I forgot I had this and I really like it....makes a great vintage
background.
For those interested this is ATC #150! I am done!

Another Halloween ATC

Well, this was easy. Why you may ask? Well, frankly, I've got a ton of them stockpiled -- okay, maybe about 30 or so. And it seems as it is the theme for Theme Thursday this week. So here you go!

Halloween ATC

There's a reason there's a "T" on this Halloween ATC. And that's because it's made specifically for Tim Holtz who will be our teacher on the cruise next month. How daunting is that, making something for Tim Holtz himself? All in all though, I'm happy with it.

TMTA

Here's the ATC I created for this week's theme of Flower Power. After rereading their post I see it was more of a tribute to the Flower Power of the '60's, but I went in a more traditional direction.
Oh, well, it's one more to add to my pile I need for the cruise anyway.
All images except the bird are by Oxford Impressions.

Think Monday, Think ATC

I've been "Thinking ATC" a lot more than just Monday lately! Got a few more made this weekend.
Today's theme at the Monday ATC challenge site was "King or Queen." Here is my contribution.
The background is an embossed Tim Holtz ATC stamp.

TGIF -- Words

Yup, you guessed it -- another ATC. So that makes 86 out of the 150 I need to make. This one features one of my favorite stamps -- the round frame from Autumn Leaves. Works perfectly for this ATC.
And the word is one of my favorites t00 -- so it's perfect for TGIF's challenge to use a word or words in your art.

Theme Thursday -- ATC's

Well, I couldn't have been happier to see the theme at Theme Thursday was ATC's. I'd decided to join in the ATC swap on the cruise, so I am going to be needing about 150 ATC's. I've got about 85 made so far.
This was one of the recent ones I made. I've been using some of the Tim Holtz ATC background stamps. Kind of simple but, hey, when you need 150 of them.......

ATC - Moon

Think Monday, Think ATC has chosen "moon" as their theme in honor of the 40th anniversary of man's walking on the moon.
I didn't have much in the way of stamps, but I did manage to find a transparent moon in my Halloween stash that I could use as a mask for this ATC. The border stamp is by Sugar Lump Studios and the ticket is part of an ATC stamp from Tim Holtz which I then stamped the word moon on.

Gothic Arch Challenge -- Marie Antoinette

The challenge at Gothic Arches today is "Marie Antoinette." I so enjoyed creating the ATC arches the other week, so I made this trio of ATC arches.
All stamps are by Oxford Impressions.

TMTA - Fly

Two ATC's I made using butterfly masks. For the first one I used distress inks and the second one I created with chalks. These are for Think Monday, Think ATC's "fly" challenge today.
