FRIENDSHIP CARD

Hi, friends,
i am super busy these days(don't ask me why:))) n couldn't spend much time in blogging.Now i am back,n want to share quiet a few things with you all.Firstly the power cut problem here in chennai is totally rectified and i am all the more active now.More active means,started with more things and struggling to complete all,lolz.
second,i want to share a link of a super blog i found recently.It belongs to a 9-year old boy,yes a boy who is 9 years old.Its very rare to see boys interested in crafts,..and oh my he is super talented.I have seen children's good at craft and making some nice things with the help of a teacher or parent,but he does all by himself and guess what,.his works are professional.After seeing his blog,i was like what!!!what am i doing all these days,lolz:).Unfortunately the blog is in different language and couldn't translate it.But there is step by step pics which explains it well.Ok enough blabbering,hold your breath and take a look at his BLOG,and i am sure you will agree with me.



Third is my card i did yesterday.Of-late i am trying with different things in my cards,i don't like monotonous works.So i change my style often.I am thinking of to minimize the layers n embellies in my card,especially when i use pretty papers like these.It feels bad when it get covered,so not too much of layering nor CAS,this is another style which i like now.Do you?

SOME AWARDS...

I got these two awards from husenna and tejal sometime back.Due to the blogging break n the anniversary celebrations i couldn't find time to post it,..ok better late than never.Thank you girls,for passing these awards to me.
So, i have to pass this awards to others and tell few things about me.I guess most of you got these award,i am passing it to all my blog friends,..so those who dint get it please feel free to grab it:))).

Few things about me:

• My dream was to become a fashion designer,and even i did a course on that,but when i came to know stitching is the main part,i skipped that idea and then chosen this profession(i really thought fashion designing is all about sketching and designing in note book,stitching is the one thing i don't like at all:)))
• I love fast driving both car n bike.
• If i like something i can do anything for that,and if i don't,. i wont even bother to look back at it.
• I love photography and wish(dream)to learn professional photography sometime in my life.
• I have really become additive to crafts and sacrificed all my hobbies which i feel bad now and wish to start again.Though crafting is a great hobby,i guess anything as a profession is stress with commitments,deadlines and to keep up with the latest things.
• I wish to learn maximum no.of arts n crafts in my life time.
• My latest addiction is paper craft,and all my unfinished paintings seeks my attention badly:((
• I really cant do a same work continuously for a long time except browsing,lol.
  

Tomorrow is the 4th week of the anniversary celebrations,and expect a very interesting thing with some interesting prizes again,so don't forget to checkout the post tom morning,.taa ,..daa,..

QUILLED BUNNIES IN THE GARDEN

I jus wanted to share this card i did sometime back.I am feeling better today,but really don't have energy to work on any projects.The design was inspired from one of my quilling book,i elaborated the garden a little bit,but this was not even near the original,..oops,..i am not very happy with the result,but anyways here it is,..let me know what you people think:))

STYLISH BLOGGER AWARD

Hi guys,
hope all of you are having a grt weekend.Mine is terrible,down with high fever from yesterday,now a bit ok.
I have got this lovely award from one of my best blogging buddy priya,thank you girl!!!


In order to continue, I have to post 8 things about myself and pass this along to 8 bloggers:

1. I am a kind of a person one time filled with full of energy,enthu and positive thoughts and the other time straight opposite.So keeping myself cheerful is the biggest task for me,lol..
2. Love music(i learnt keyboard n veena but some how couldn't continue now),games like shuttle and chess.
3. I started collecting paints,brushes etc from when i was very small but never know how to use them:))i once bought oil paint tube and mixed with water n painted on paper:))but didn't take any formal training till my college.
4. I occasionally read books,but if i start reading a book i wont keep it down until i finish it:)
5. I love learning new things always,not only paintings,..anything that is interesting n new,..
   
6. I love to learn anything practical and i never forget them,but theory,..i immediately forget them:))i never had notes for any of my painting!!
7. God is my best friend,but i never go to temples:)
8. I love to collect all cute little things like,keychains,small dolls,and anything that is beautiful..never mind whether i need it or not.

BUNCH OF BUTTERFLIES

The color combo in play date cafe is so unique this time that i will never think of it really if the this challenge was not there:)))
Have you seen so many butterflies together???i remember seeing some group of butterflies(not this much,lol) some 10 years back.Now its rare to see even a single butterfly,thanks to all the cell phones,i really feel bad sometimes many of the little creatures or not at all there:((

Ok,over to my card i just literally used all my butterfly punches.Though it looks over crowded i some how like it:)))

• I am more comfortable to stand and work on my crafts or painting than i sit.In that way i can really work fast.
• I hate traveling,mostly i try to avoid such situations.I feel good at home,but love roaming in my city:)
• I am sooooooooo sacred of dogs,i mean it.Even though i adore very small puppies i maintain a safety distance wit them:))

i love,love this card.I think pink and white goes very well,what do you say?Lots of layers in this card and going for lots of challenges after long time:)))
Did embossing after long time,...so many things after long time,..??lol.
I had this cake 3d sticker for long time,never had heart to use it.But finally used now since i no time to color a digi or some thing.

FEVICRYL ACE AWARDS

Hi all,
my system was in trouble for past few days and i really missed all the happenings in the blog world.Missing to see my blog one day,feels like the day is not full filled,so addictive:)).Still only Internet is working,the other software's and programs should be reloaded again:((.I do make a card for challenges,but i am not able to upload it to my system bcoz of this problem.So here i have something to share with you all which i am thinking for long time,but couldn't find time to post it.
Fevicryl company conducts ACE AWARDS,AWARD FOR CREATIVE EXCELLENCE every year for their teachers(i am a registered teacher).This year's topic is INTERIOR'S,to create something new and innovative Home decor product using fevicryl product's.I have submitted the Maple leaf project and i have won 3rd prize in non-fabric category,in city level(cash prize rs.1000).This was announced before 3 months,from that time i am trying to post this,he he.Never mind,its not too late,any way the prizes only be given before next year competition.Maple leaf is one of my best post in this blog with tutorial,have seen many of them tried it in blog land.I am so happy to win a prize for that,..all smilesssssss:))).
