My sisters birthday card/tag/calender

For my sisters birthday this year I made a calender tag.

It's harder and harder to come up with new ideas for their birthday's, but this was a good one..... I think...

 I've sprayed the tag with Dylutions ink, all the purple and pink colors, and added some perfect pearls. Did the same with the ribbon.

The numbers are sprayed with Dylutions, dabbed with Distress Paint, over and over again to get the right color.

The sentiment are a rub-on from Staz. The charm are from Kort og Godt

Lace from Turkey, and LOT'S of flowers from woc, I am roses and Prima.

I used Distress paint on the chrystanthemum, seedless preserves to make them a little more purple......

Tag for a wedding.

Last saturday my childhood neighbor got married, 

I saw him and his wife coming out of the church as I drove by. 

I said f.... to Emilie I forgot the wedding...

So today I wrapped in their wedding gift from me and my two sisters, made a wedding tag, and delivered the gift.. Puh....

The tag

 I've used a lot of rub-ons from Norsk Stempelblad, heart die from Nellie Snellen, image from Sagene design, hug snug colored with broken china, picked raspberry and spun sugar, and the charm's from Anne, thank u..

Tag nr 3 / tag nr 3

Siste tag, for denne gang. I friske deilige farger. Hva er vel bedre en knallorange  (spiced marmelade) på sommeren, og legger vi til litt cerise (picked raspberry) så er vi i boks.

Last tag for now. In fresh vibrant colors. What's better than very orange (spiced marmelade) in the summer, and if we add some cerise (picked raspberry), well, there you have it.

Jeg har brukt embossing paste på denne også, i tillegg til litt stensiler og to stempler fra North Star Stamps(sommerfugl og tekst).

I've used embossing paste on this one too, a few stencils and two stamps from North Star Stamps (butterfly and text).

lucky for me I had Anne and Mayas as teachers when I was doing this bow. It turned out so nice...

En tag til / One more tag..

En tag i pasteller denne gang. Har brukt distress ink på denne og, i tillegg til embossing paste og en splash stensil fra Tim Holtz.

A tag in pastelcolors this time. I've used distressink on this one too, in addition to embossing paste and a splash stencil from Tim Holtz.

 Zomet inn på splash'ene og blomstene fra woc, and the rub-on from Norsk Stempelblad/zoomed in on the splashes and flowers, and the rub-on from Norsk Stempelblad.

Jeg har prøvd meg på en tag og to......./I've made a tag or two....

Jeg var så heldig at når jeg var på Ski-treff i mars så satt jeg ved samme bord som Anne, og det må man selvsagt benytte seg av :)

Fikk mange gode tips.....

Så jeg lagde noen tag'er med distressputer og vann, stensiler og litt stempling

Her er den første:

When we were at Ski-treffet in march I was so lucky that I sat at the same table as Anne. Of course I had to take advantage of that :)

She had a lot of tips.

I ended up making a few using distressink, water, stencils and some stamps.

Here's the first one:

 Jeg har brukt picked raspberry og seedless preserves, litt vann og perfect pearls (forever violet). Hadde alt på underlaget og dyppet tag'en oppi, flere ganger, tørket den helt før jeg dyppet igjen..

Stanset ut hånda og fargelagt den, stemplet opp blomsten, klippet den ut og fargela den og.

I used picked raspberry and sedless preserves, perfect pearls (forever violet) and added some water. I dried the tag compleately before I dipped it again

Cut out the hand and colored it, stamped the flower, cut it out, then colored that too

 Anne hadde med seg litt utstyr fra Tim'ern og Rangers så jeg fikk låne denne stensilen, den er sååå fin.

Selvsagt kjøpte jeg med meg noen stensiler og en boks embossing paste.....

Stemplet litt her og der...

Anne brought with her a lot of Tim's and Rangers equipment, and I borrowed this stencil. Love it.....

Of course I had to buy a box with embossing paste and some stencils.

Sketchy Colors #161

Sunday again, and time for a new challenge from us in SC, this week we have a fun colorcombo for you to play with.

We want to see your creations in orange and creem....

 ( I've added a few more colors, but it's mostly orange)

I've made a birthday tag for my wonderful guy (the best), and I've tried art journal for the first time (with dylutions ink and stamps)

And wow.... This was fun......

RECIPE:

Stamps: Dylution stamps, lot's of them...

Medium: Dylution ink

Other: Hug snug colored with spiced marmelade, gesso, white pen, grungerboard letters colored with distress stain bronze, and covered them with diamond glaze.

Birthdaytag for a friend in bright colors

I've made a birthday tag for a friend.

I used Distress ink Moved Lawn and Salty Ocean from the summer set, and Picked Raspberry on a few details (love the bright colors)

This is how it turned out...

I used one of Tim Holtz collections, background stamps from classic #7.

 The top of the tag, hug snug ribbon colored with salty ocean and moved lawn, the beautiful heartcharm I got from my sweet little sister...

The "king" of chess.

I bought this ages ago, and it fit perfect to the background (if you take a closer look you can see the "king" behind the image)

Distressed both the "king" and the compass with Distress Stain valnut Stain, and   

used a white pen on some details.

Happy birthday are printed on my pc, and distressed with salty ocean.

Lace from WOC.

The J is a grungerboardletter stained with picked raspberry and diamond glaze.

En tag ferdig....

Da har jeg gjort ferdig en av kurstag'ene fra Mjøstreffet.

Jeg har kalt den "Music is Life", og vett akkurat hvem den skal gis bort til...

 Liker veldig godt fargene på denne.....

 Har farget seem binding ribbon i dusty concorde og spiced marmelade for å få de til å passe med tag'en...

Har brukt en blanding av Dylutions stempler og Tim Holtz stempler..

Ha ei flott helg alle sammen...

Hi there.

This is the only project that I managed to finish at the Mjøstreff (wow)

I ment to enter the competition that they had, but I didn't finish until the deadline....

Anyway, here it is:

"Be my valentine"

It's in pink, but some boys do like pink.......don't they ???

Here you can see the lace a little better....

and the beautiful butterflies from one of Pion's cut out sheets,

The lace is colored with walnut stain.

under the seembinding ribbon are to "stamps" from one of Pion's cut out sheets.

I've distressed the tag with picked raspberry and walnut stain, sprayed some water on it, and while it was wet I sprayed some perfect pearl mist, heirloom gold on it, adding some heirloom gold powder as well (with a brush)

Stamped some Tim Holtz motifs

Cheesecloth, and the picture on a panel. MS punch at the edge.

The hearts are colored with promarker gold, and the seembinding ribbon with spun sugar.

Tag kurs på Mjøstreffet

Jeg og Maya var på tag-kurs på lørdagen.

Fy søren så moro....

Kursholderen var Marianne (skorpionens rede)

Veldig flink og veldig hyggelig...

Her er resultatet fra kurset....

Har brukt litt forskjellige teknikker 

De er ikke ferdige enda, skal jo litt forskjellig pynt på de, er det ikke herlige farger(spesielt på de øverste) ????
