Edited *** Birthday Wishes - RAK's from my PTI friends

I love getting fun and unexpected mail. These are two cards that I received in the last few days wishing me an early birthday. How cool is that, when my birthday is still almost a week away. This first card is from Jak all the way from the UK. Its always neat thinking about how far mail has to travel when it comes from abroad.

Her card is so elegant and clean looking. The color in person is much more pink than purple. Can you believe that Jak only used 2 colors, but there is a lot of other details throughout the card.
Thanks so much Jak! Jak just started a blog so click on over and check it out -->HERE<--

This second card came from Holly aka "ncfield". She used the beautiful new paper from Papertrey ink. Can't get enough of it either! I love seeing how other people put their paper to use. And that die cut in the middle - how cool is that? What? I don't have that (gasp). Its a beautiful card and I feel lucky to have been the recipient. Thank you Holly!

Thanks for sharing in my joy! Hope you all have a great day!

*** Edited*** to add 2 more fabulous cards that I received. Can I say WOW again!

This card I received from Daisy. Isn't it beautiful? Its hard to see of course, but there is just the right amount of glitter at the center of all those beautiful petals and I love the color combo. She used a muted jute type of color that really complements the PTI colors and what a perfect sentiment. So true... Thanks again Daisy, you made my day!

This next card is from Lynn who is in essence our fearless leader for the PTI RAK group. These color choices are gorgeous and I love the little lacy edges on the paper. Its so feminine without being mushy, gushy (KWIM?). Thank you so much Lynn!

Another PTI Rack - Yahoo

So, my new friend Theresa sent me a cute little notebook that she altered just for me. What a sweetie. We literally connected over a heartfelt message that she wanted to share about her Dad on her blog and I felt like I wanted to say just a little "something", so now I have a great new friend. PLUS, she sent me a couple of extra goodies, but I want to know is how she read my mind. I believe they are dew drops or something similar to them and I literally had them in one of my virutal shopping carts and decided against getting them and here they are today in the mail. Thanks so much Theresa for thinking of me! Check out this cutie of a notebook.

I love mail!

Wowza,

I got another surprise in the mail today!! Woohoo! Jodi sent me a beautiful card today. Check it out! And with just the right amount of sparkle in my new favorite colors and paper too!

Thank you Jodi - plus she's in the same state as me. She's the first person so far that I know of that lives in the same state :)

Extra, Extra, Read all about it ! Papertrey RAK

I got another fabulous surprise in the mail today! I want to say THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart to Erin Bigler who sent me the most beautiful card and... a new COPIC PEN too!

For those that don't know, PTI has a RAK (Random Act of Kindness) group where we exchange cards for no reason or for any reason that we want to. There is no pressure and there are no guidelines other than you want to when you want to. Lynn, our fearless leader, helps us by posting a RAK challenge every Monday to get the juices flowing if you wish.

Anyway here is the card sent to me by again Erin who lives in a town that I have never heard of and am not sure how to pronounce as of right now. :)
Click --> HERE <-- to see all her fab work.

I love this card because a) its gorgeous, b) I get to see a stamp set in action that I don't have and c) she checked my info and realized my birthday is coming up pretty soon and sent a little gift inside (copic marker, which I don't have this color) Did you realize that I covet all copics right now???

Here is a close up of the beautiful work on the cake. I like this no calorie version.

Thanks again Erin!

Papertrey RAK card

I just got finished with this card. I really should branch out and use something other than moss green or aqua mist, but I truly love them. Its a good thing that Nichole is coming out with new colors. Then all you'll see is pink - nah, I promise to mix it up :)

Anyway, this is a card that I'm going to send to someone from PTI's rack list, I just haven't figured out who yet.

Cardstock: GP white, Everyday Blessings (PTI), Green strips (DCWV), Ink: Moss Green (PTI), Black (CTMH), Stamps: Shapes by Design (PTI), Other: 2 1/2 circle punch, Stampin up! scallop punch

Thanks to all!

RAK card

Its beautiful here in the NW. I have to tell you when the weather is good here, there is nowhere prettier, although it is still pretty chilly, so I'll amend and say that during the spring and summer (when its not too hot) then its perfect. Sounds like I'm being pretty picky huh? :)

Well, I was going to post two cards that I'm sending to a couple of fellow Papertrey fans, but to be honest, I only really like this one. The other one, I combined some other product and its nice, but... (you know how it is).

So, here's the one. All products are PTI and the stamp sets that I used are Out on a Limb and Borders and Corners (square).

Hope you all have a fab day!!

~Katie
