Happy Anniversary, Vacation, and Clear Dollar Stamps September Sneak Peeks Day 1

Lots going on today!  Before I get going on sneak peeks I want to wish my wonderful hubby a very happy anniversary... NUMBER 17.  We did not plan our vacation around our anniversary but it did end up that way which is a very cool thing.  Today we are heading off to Walla Walla and will be heading back home tomorrow.  Before I share any more vacation pictures... you get to feast your eyes on soon to be available stamping goodies!!!

So without further ado, here is my scheduled post for sneak peeks!

******************************************
Hey everyone...welcome to the first day of Clear Dollar Stamps sneak peeks.  I know we are really rounding out our summer, but don't you just feel the holidays around the corner?  Time is going to just whiz on by.  You'll be excited with the releases for next month - lots of choices and variety and definitely stamps that will help you get ready for the holidays early this year!

Here is the list of stamps being previewed today and the Design Team members sharing. Make sure to head on over to Lori's blog to see the full reveals.

Jesus is the Reason

Blooming Background

Our Savior's Birth

Our Savior's Scriptures

A Season of Wonder

Christmas Inside Sentiments (Psalm)

Christmas Inside Sentiments (John)

*******************************************************
The great thing about many of these new stamps are that they were created to work with each other.  I know that many stampers love having sentiments to stamp on the insides of their cards and I think this is especially the case for holiday cards.

My first cards use the stamp set called Jesus is the Reason. I stamped in a colored ink and then filled in with Tombow Markers.  I stamped the little pointsettias separately on watercolor paper and then cut them out and attached them to my card with pop dots.

Card Recipe
Stamps/Images: Jesus is the Reason
Cardstock/Papers: Cottonball white, Pineapple Twist, Silk Watercolor Paper (CDs), Jolly by Golly (Cosmo Cricket), CTMH
Inks/Markers: CTMH ink, Tombows: 847,946,977,850
Accents/Tools: Waterbrush, Curved Rectangles (spellbinders), PTI ribbon, scallop punch

***********************************************************
My next card uses the above stamp set - Jesus is the Reason, but I used that image on the inside of my card.  For the front, I used the stamp that was created to coordinate which is called Blooming Background.  Even though these images were created to work with each other, they are just as useful and can stand alone on their own merits.

And the inside

Card Recipe
Stamps/Images: Jesus is the Reason, Blooming Background
Cardstock/Papers: Cottonball White, Pucker Up (CTMH), Basic Grey Wassail, CTMH
Inks/Markers: Pucker Up (CDS), CTMH
Accents/Tools: Pucker Up ribbon (CDS), Martha Stewart border punch

****************************************************************************
My next card uses the set called Our Savior's Birth. The Baby Jesus, hay, and manger are all separate pieces that you can stamp to create the perfect image.  I wanted a very light look, so with every piece I inked, stamped on some scratch paper and then stamped my final image.  I love 2 tone blues for lots of looks but especially love it here.

Card Recipe
Stamps/Images: Our Savior's Birth
Cardstock/Papers: Cottonball white, Deep Sea, Billowing Clouds
Ink/Markers: Hot Cocoa, Deep Sea (CDS), CTMH
Accents/Tools: Petite Oval Nesties, Tags (spellbinders), Billowing Cloud ribbons (CDS), silk ribbon, sponge tool, embossing folder (cuttlebug)

Here is my second sample for this stamp set.  I created this one to be all shimmery.

And to create that perfect pairing, you will be able to purchase the perfect inside sentiment called Our Savior's Scriptures.

Card Recipe
Stamps/Images: Our Savior's Birth, Our Savior's Scriptures
Cardstock/Papers: Wild Huckleberry, Blueberry Patch, Cottonball White (CDS)
Inks/Markers: Wild Huckleberry
Accents/Tools: Petite Oval Nesties, Labels 8 (spellbinders), D'vine embossing folder (cuttlebug), May Arts ribbon, Maya Road Spritz, SU! horizontal slot punch

********************************************************************************
Next up is the stamp set called A Season of Wonder.  I'm telling you... you are going to have plenty of meaningful holiday images and sentiments to choose from in September.  I paired this was some fabulous paper from TaDa Creative Studios.

Card Recipe
Stamps/Images: A Season of Wonder, Christmas Inside Sentiments (John 8:12)
Cardstock/Papers: Cottonball White (CDS), Niki Sivils, TaDa Creative Studios, CTMH
Inks/Markers: Versacolor black, CTMH, Tombows: 025,947,873,977,946,N75,491,899
Accents/Tools: Labels 5, rectangle nesties (spellbinders), PTI ribbon, waterbrush, hole punch

And once again, choices for the insides of your cards. This one is Christmas Inside Sentiments (John 8:12)

For my second Christmas Inside Sentiments (Psalm 115:15), I actually went inside out (lol).

Card Recipe
Stamps/Images: Christmas Inside Sentiments (Psalm 115:15)
Cardstock/Papers: Cottonball white (CDS), Basic Grey Wassail
Inks/Markers: Tim Holtz forest moss, Close to my Heart, Copics: R89
Accents/Tools: sateen flowers, pearls, eksuccess border punch, sponge tool, curved rectangle nesties (spellbinders)

Wowee... did you think it would ever stop?  Well it has today and I hope you enjoyed today's samples.  Make sure to come back tomorrow for more!

Have a wonderful day.

May Stamp of the Month - Yummy Cupcake

Air Flair

Eph. 2:8-9

I always love the Stamp of the Months, but this one is so cute! I think you all will love it just as much, but remember that its limited. It will only be available for the month of May and you can receive it for FREE with just a $50 purchase. It definitely beats a stick in the eye :)

Here is my take on May's stamp of the month Yummy Cupcake. I used cardstock from the Clearly Coordinated Collection and paired it up with some Basic Grey... match made in heaven.

My next card features the set called Air Flair and has lots and lots of cute images for you. I must admit, this one looked much better in my head than executed, but I won't complain. It still turned out pretty cute and yes, I'm on a bright theme.

And finally, my last card for today is from a set called Ephesians 2:8-9. I kept this nice and simple.

Thanks for stopping by today and have a fabulous Friday!

Here is the list of all the stamps being shared today along with the Design Team members for each set.

Tag Blessings
Pirate Ahoy
Designer Mail
Angela, Nancy, Cassie, Rebecca, Tracy, Candy, Laurie

********************************************************************************

I must say that I love this first set because I love stamps that are "tag" like and especially when they are in shapes of circles. Sets like these are so versatile and just like the name, they make beautiful tags for gifts, but they also make for easy cards.

I tried to give my My Tag Blessings card a nice distressed/vintage look.

My next card is perfect for that pirate in your life - little or big. Pirate Ahoy has lots of great images in it, but for my card I chose to focus on the cute little pirate.

And finally, my last card is from the set called Designer Mail. This is going to be perfect for all those little notes and quotes that you can place on the back side of your cards and even on the outside of your envelopes.

I happened to turn them into very cute cards though.

I want to say thank you to everyone that stopped by today. Make sure to come back tomorrow for the very last day of sneak peeks.

My next card is from the set called Bird-day Hi! The main stamp is a bit larger and fills up a card front nicely and if you are a fan of birds you'll definitely want to add this to your stash.

And finally, my third card today is from the set called Frisky Kitty. No kitties for us due to Hunter's allergies, but I don't mind having these cute guys around. Definitely the non-allergenic kind.

Clear Dollar Stamps Sneak Peek - Day 4

Wow... last day of sneak peeks for Clear Dollar Stamps and everything will be available first thing on the 1st. Head on over to Lori's blog - Clearly iStamp for the full reveals. The stamps being shown today are as follows.

Eiffel Tower

Fashionably French

Martial Arts

Topped with Class
(April Stamp of the Month)

Digital Images

So lets get started... my first set of cards feature the set called Eiffel Tower. I was really excited by this set since I really feel that everyone needs an Eiffel Tower image... seriously :) As you can see its a nice sized image and I chose to use white pigment ink and then emboss it. I then took that same ink and highlighted the tower. I was also playing around with some new Maya Road pompom ribbon and some silk ribbon. Not sure I got the look I envisioned, but oh well its still fun to play.

Recipe

CDS STAMPS USED: Eiffel Tower

CS/PAPERS: Neenah white, Cocoa (CTMH),Indian Summer(basic grey)

INK: White Daisy, Cocoa (CTMH), VersaMark

ACCENTS/TOOLS: Silk ribbon (may arts),pompom ribbon(maya road),CTMH brad, clear embossing powder

For my 2nd card, I focused on another stamp from this set. A very whimsical butterfly. I added some branch/leaves by using a Sizzix die. I cut two and glued them together so they would be a tad bit thicker. AND, I got some new Maya Road spritz and I must say that it worked wonderfully to color my branch and leaves. They started out as Kraft cardstock.

Recipe
CDS STAMPS USED: Eiffel Tower
CS/PAPERS: Neenah white, Early bird (cosmo cricket)
INK: VersaMark
MARKERS: Copics - Y21,B02,B00
ACCENTS/TOOLS: Silk ribbon (may arts),branch die cut (sizzix),maya road spray mist, black embossing powder

********************************************************************
My next two cards are a complete contrast to the French theme, but they are a great set to add to your collection. I know that there are many of you out there requesting a Martial Artstheme so here you go.

I was so happy that I was able to use up this Basic Grey paper. It is old, I don't even know when it was released, but a good friend of mine got some on clearance and sent it my way.

Recipe
CDS STAMPS USED: Martial Arts
CS/PAPERS: Neenah white, Obscure (Basic Grey), Black (CTMH)
INK: Versafine Onyx Black, Sunflower,Tulip,Orange(CTMH)
ACCENTS/TOOLS: Petite oval nestabilities(spellbinders), Brads (CTMH)
TECHNIQUE: sponging

My second card is a bit more traditional and I love the fact that I made my own background by combining all the sentiments. Yes, combined them all on one block. The only thing you have to do is make sure that you fit them in a rectangular shape so you can keep stamping and you won't have any over lapping words.

Recipe
CDS STAMPS USED: Martial Arts
CS/PAPERS: Neenah white, Black,Cranberry (CTMH)
INK: Black (CTMH)
ACCENTS/TOOLS: Square nestabilities (spellbinders)

**********************************************************************
