am I crazy for thinking that my mama sent me a little
sign from above to let me know she is
still with me??
my mama's family nickname was 'Ting'
it came about when her brother started to talk
and he couldn't say Christina, so he called
her Ting, it stuck and everyone
called her Ting
My little quilting sign broke while I was tidying up my
sewing room the other night. It broke into 3 pieces
Qu, il & Ting
I like to think it is a sign from her, crazy I know
but makes me smile.
I talked to my dad this afternoon, and shared some
potentially exciting news and his reply was
'that's good isn't it'
mum would have been as excited as I am
and would have wanted to know everything.
I will share as soon as it becomes much more
than a very good possibility.
and I am very excited.
but
Yes she is still with you.
ReplyDeleteWhen my dad past 4 years ago he use to visit my mums often, one one day my sister said to him she was at my house, well my door bell rang (it's never rang again) When i opened it I said come in Dad...... (Dad was never able to come to my house as I have lots of stairs) Agus often talks to him on the way to school at the same place.
That is beautiful that your sign broke and gave you that happy thought. Ting is such an adorable nickname.
ReplyDeleteYep, Mum and Dad do share exciting news differently don't they. I am sure you can hear Mum's response in your head and heart.
Keep smiling.
I don't think its crazy, it made you happy and that is all that matters. I have lost both my parents, but feel that they still watch over me. Hugs......
ReplyDeleteMiss Kate, I am with you. If it was me I would say it's definitely a sign from your Mum. I am a firm believer in things like this. I know when my Mum comes and visits as my Pukeko's that normally sit on a shelf, are lying on the floor in the middle of our lounge. It makes me feel a type of peace to know that she is there watching.
ReplyDeleteDefinately a sign! I'm sure your mum is watching over you. Hugs
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to hear your news...
