Cross Stitch Update

As well as the other little summer piece I showed the other day, I've finished off this piece - more of a spring one, I guess, but doesn't matter; it's finished!

To go with the summer boxes, which I'm going to get back to soon, I've started another new piece - there's a lot of green to it, as you might be able to tell. And perhaps you can see what else is lurking on that hillside?  For a glimpse at the finished stitchery, check out this site...

Cross Stitch Update

Yes, a third piece!  There's nothing wrong with having several things on the go at once, right? It wasn't even that I was bored with the others, but I've been wanting to start this seashore piece, so what the heck, I did.

I also, however, worked a little on this one (mainly the umbrella)

and this (started some watermelon bits on the left side, finished the grass on the right.  More next week, perhaps on all three (or perhaps not!)

Cross Stitch Update

A bit of progress this week - finished the words and worked a bit on the tree at the left of the stitchery. I think I need to pull out another piece to work on as I'm feeling my interest wane in this one (I have a short attention span) - that's why I usually work on two pieces alternately...  maybe I'll dig out the herb sampler I abandoned last summer...

Cross Stitch Update

Progress. I love these hand-dyed variegated threads - they are so nice for larger areas...

Cross stitch update

New one started, as I finished the last two off... What will it be? You'll just have to wait and watch it grow!
