Kaleidescope Quilt

Finally finished all the blocks and got the top sewn together last night. Lots of seams to match on this one, but isn't too bad if you press your seams right.

Just need to whip on some borders and it will be ready for quilting. Hopefully we get yardage soon so I can finish it!

Kaleidoscope Quilt

With a full time job, my sewing time seems to be getting less and less. And with the warmer weather finally approaching I don't see it getting any better. But I did finally manage to start a new project!

I've been blissfully eyeing off a Gooseberry Jelly roll, from the lovely Lella Boutique.

And who could go past her gorgeous Kaleidoscope pattern? I found a little time over the weekend (apart from a tonne of spring cleaning) to whip up the first few blocks. They are super easy! No crazy points to line up at all.

 

I can already tell I'm going to love this quilt.
