Happy Birthday!

Hi everyone!
Here's a card I made for a dear work colleague who is also a good friend of mine. He is dog lover so I chose this Dog Song digi stamp from Whimsy Stamps as focal point and colored him with warm grey Copics 1,3,5 and 7. The background is done by heat embossing -I used a stencil to create it. I didn't embellish much because this was for a guy. I must tell you I was super nervous about this card but my friend loved it and I got many compliments from the guests in his birthday party. Yay! :) Thanks for popping by and have relaxing Sunday!

Make Your Mark at Addicted to Stamps and More!

Hello dear friends and followers!
It's time for Make Your Mark Challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More! It's one of our favorite challenges: anything goes with markers, pencils, crayons... Coloring medium of any kind! I used my favorite markers, Copics, to color in this pretty girl from Whimsy Stamps. Please click on the photo for closer look if you want! Photo Inspiration at House of Cards!

Hi friends!
We have five Mondays this September and that means we are enjoying of Any Style Goes Photo Inspiration Challenge at House of Cards! I love the autumnal dining setting in the inspiration pic... I focused on the colors, leaves and stripes and since I'm in the Cute and Fun Design Team at HOC I chose this adorably cute Whimsy Stamps Silver Fairy for my image. I love this stamp but especially the dress is quite intimidating to color: Luckily, there's a really great tutorial by Suzanne Dean in Youtube here. I hope you'll feel inspired to join us at House of Cards this week! uskaltaudun ensimmäistä kertaa osallistumaan Without Words haasteeseen. Tässä haasteblogissa keskitytään CAS-kortteihin, joiden keskiössä on väritetty leimakuva. Olen monta kuukautta jo kyttäillyt tätä blogia, mutta en ole uskaltautunut osallistumaan -DT:n värittelijät ovat kaikki suorastaan taiteilijoita, aivan upeita töitä aina. Nyt kuitenkin rohkaistuin ottamaan osaa tällä Whimsyn Silver Fairy-keijulla. Väritys Copiceilla. Toivottavasti tykkäät!

this is my first ever card for Without Words Challenge. It's a blog that I visit really often, I love the concept of CAS card with a focus on coloring but I've been too intimidated to enter the challenges, there's always so amazing creations... Everyone in the DT is an artist when it comes to coloring, I highly recommend you to visit their blogs! Anyway, now I thought it's about time I enter after months of planning. :) I colored up Silver Fairy from Whimsy Stamps with Copics, she is a beauty with a difficult dress. :) I hope you like my card, thanks for popping by!

Considering that green is my favorite color, I seldom make green cards... When I saw Laurie's inspiration card at this week's challenge at Muse Card Club, I immediately knew I wanted to use green papers. I chose them already at Monday and decided I would follow Laurie's design, I liked those tall panels... And then I found no stamp, sentiment, nothing that I liked for the whole week. :) Yesterday I decided I should color up this fantastic Kenny K digi image, Frieda Flapper, I was lucky some weeks ago and won 5 Kenny K images in their challenge. Frieda is amazing, isn't she?  Laurie's card was pretty CAS so I tried to keep mine simple as well -I did add some rhinestones to her headband for festive look. Laurie's card had a "Happy Everything"- sentiment -I think my Frieda sure looks happy! The text is Finnish language and means just "hi". I hope you like my card, thanks for looking!

Tässä upouusi ja ensimmäinen KennyK-leimasimeni, jihuu! Sain leimasimen Jehkottaren organisoimasta ringistä, jossa jokainen sain uuden yllätysleimasimen, tosi kiva idea! Heti kun näin leimasimen, sain idean kokeilla värittämistä vain yhdellä sävyllä ja tällainen tästä tuli! Hiukset ja kasvot tuottivat ongelmia, mutta kiva kokeilu, täytyy jatkaa harjoituksia. Käytin Warm Grey 1, 3, 5, 7 Copiceja ja vähän mustaa Inktense-kynää öljyn kanssa kaveriksi. Osallistun muutamiin haasteisiin, listattuna käännöksen jälkeen. Kiitos kun käväisit, hauskaa päivää sinulle!

Hi! 
In this card I used my brand new and first ever KennyK stamp, yay! I got the stamp from a circle organized by Jehkotar, everybody received a surprise stamp, really fun! At once when I saw this stamp, I knew I wanted to try monochrome coloring, I've never done it before. The face and hair were quite difficult but I liked this experiment anyhow! I used Warm Grey Copics 1, 3, 5 and 7 + a hint of black Inktense pencil with oil to color my image. I'd like to enter these challenges:

Keiju/ Silver Fairy

Tervehdys maaseudun rauhasta!
Vietämme mieheni kanssa lomaviikkoa maalla ja mukaani  raahasin luonnollisesti säkillisen askartelutarvikkeita. :) Tämän kortin sain tänään aikaiseksi, Whimsyn i-ha-na Silver Fairy on pääosassa. Kuorrutin siipien vihreät kärjet Sticklesillä ja lisäilin pieniä "timantteja". Kuvasin sekä varjossa että valossa enkä osannut päättää, kummassa kuvassa kuvassa kortin värit ovat enemmän edukseen, siksi nyt kaksi kuvaa... Toivottavasti tykkäät kortistani ja haluat jättää kommentin!

Greetings from the countryside!
I'm spending a holiday week on the countryside with my hubby and naturally I dragged a bag of crafting goodies with me. :) This Silver Fairy card I made today -I just l-o-v-e her! I wanted to let her play the main role in the card and decorated her wings with some Stickles and "diamonds". I couldn't decide on the photos, whether the first one was better or the second, the one with more natural light... So there's two pictures now. I hope you like my card and want to leave a comment!

Here I go, my first blog text! I'm sure I'll be messing around learning to use blogger, but please bear with me. :) My first card here features the beautiful Wee-girl: I wanted to keep the card simple since the image (called Hopeful) is so serene and beautiful on itself  and the image is also quite large.
