Vuoden Viimeinen Joulukortti/ The Last Christmas Card of The Year!

Viimeistä viedään, voi tätä onnea! Niin ihana kuin joulu onkin, on nyt tosi mukava saada taas keskittyä muihin askartelutarvikkeisiin. Tiedän jo, mitä haluan ensi joulun askartelutarvikkeiksi, niistä ehkä enemmän tuonnempana... Tässä kortissa lahjaksi saadut stanssatut kuuset ja leimakuva, taustapaperi on Panduron. Lisäsin blingejä ja helmiä, harjoittelin myös pearl makerin käyttöä, sitä on osissa lumihiutaleissa. Pidemmittä puheitta nyt heipat ja hauskaa päivää sinulle! The last one, oh joy!!! As much as I love Christmas, I'm happy to get to start to work with other craft stuff now. I already know what I want for next year's Christmas projects -I'll might write about it some other day. Anyway, in this card I used die-cut trees and a stamped image that I've got as gifts. Designer paper is Panduro's. I added some bling, pearls and self made pearl drops made with pearl maker (in some of the snowflakes). Have a very nice day and thanks for looking! Nyt tulossa esittelyyn vuoden viimeiset joulukortit. Jihuu!!! Teen kaksi eri postausta, jotta haasteet eivät mene sekaisin... Ensin siis tämä Penny Black-leimakuvalla varustettu, kimmeltävä kortti. Korttipohja on hopeista helmiäiskartonkia, johon olen hopeisella musteella leimannut lumihiutaleita. Vaaleanruskea kartonki on myös helmiäistä, koristehiutaleet kimaltavat komeasti ja leimakuvaankin lisäsin glitteriä. Kiiltävä meininki! :)

The last Christmas cards for this year, wuhuu!! I'll make two separate posts, I don't want  to mix up the challenges. First this shiny card with Penny Black's image. The card base is silver, pearlescent cardstock and I stamped snowflakes to it with silver ink. The light brown card is also pearlescent, the added snowflakes glimmer beautifully and I even added some glitter to the image. Shiny shiny! :)

Bingo at Addicted to Stamps and More!

On taas keskiviikko ja uuden Addicted to Stamps and More haasteen aika. Kuten jo arvaatkin, nyt bingoillaan! Valitsin rivikseni vihreä-embossaus-designer paperi. Valokuvaus on viime aikoina todella koetellut hermoja, jopa päiväsaikaan on liian pimeää, kamerasta ei tunnu löytyvän sopivia asetuksia ja kuvankäsittelyohjelma polttaa kuvat puhki. Olen alkanut vakavasti harkita sellaista kuvaustelttaa, eihän ne halpoja ole, mutta kuten sanoin, täällä alkaa hihat palaa!! Embossailin Panduron lumihiutaleet, paperit ovat askartelulehden mukana tulleita ilmaispapruja ja leimakuvan olen myös saanut. Kaunis leimakuva muuten, tietääkö kukaan, minkä valmistajan? Katsastapas haasteblogista muiden DT-frouvien kortit. Ei taas voi kuin ihailla!

It's Wednesday and time for a new challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More! As you probably guessed already, we are playing bingo this week! I chose green, embossing and designer paper. My picture is really dark, I'm sorry about that. :( I've been fighting a lot with taking pictures lately and am seriously thinking about getting a photo tent. Here up north it's now too dark even during the days... After taking the picture I try to make it better with my digikam-program, then it "burns", then I go and try to take new pictures with different settings, then it all happens again, Grrrr... Anyway, back to the challenge and my card. :) I embossed my Panduro snowflakes on a magazine freebie designer paper. The stamped image I've got as a gift and am now wondering who is the manufacturer -it's a beautiful stamp! Do go and check the cards of the rest of the design team -they are gorgeous as always.

Joulua Hullun Lailla/ Crafting For Chrismas Like A Crazy Woman

Heippa! Olen ollut tänään vapaalla ja kun mies lähti aamulla töihin, tein 5 korttia... Huh huh. Vielä on muutama joulukortti tulossa, pari leimakuvaa odottaa valmiina kortteihin pääsyä. Tässä nyt näytille muutama kortti joilla koettelen onneani haasteissakin. Kuvat ovat vähän pimeitä, pahoittelut!

Hi! I've had a free morning and when hubby left to work, I made 5 Christmas cards... Whew! Still some to make, I've got a couple of colored images ready waiting. Here are some of the cards from today, I'll try my luck in some challenges with them. The pictures are a bit dark, sorry about that!

Eka enkeli. :) Kuva on kirpputorilta, aika vähillä koristeilla mennään, ääriviivatarrat, helmet ja nauha saivat riittää.

First this sweet little angel. The image is from a flee market and I didn't embellish too much, just some pearls, ribbon and a poinsettia out of outline-stickers.

Tässä kortissa olen hyödyntänyt BoBunnyn ihanaa joulupaperia ja Panduron lumihiutaleleimasinta, jolla leimasin hopeisia lumihiutaleita taustalle. Lisänä vain ääriviivatarra-tähtiä.

In this card I've used the wonderful Christmas paper from BoBunny. I stamped Panduro snowflakes to the background with silver ink and added some outline stickers for decoration.

Ja viimeinen kortti uunista ulos! BoBunnyn paperilla yhä, ja ääriviivatarratkin mukana meiningeissä... Ne on itse asiassa ihan kivoja, kun liimaa paperille ja leikkaa irti. :)

Pastelli Joulukortti/ Christmas Card In Pastel Tones

Tein tämän talvisen kortin CASE this Sketch! haasteblogin luonnoksen mukaan. Kuvausolosuhteet näin keskiyön hetkillä olivat vähän niin ja näin... Päädyin kuvaamaan korttini ylhäältäpäin ja koitin parhaani mukaan olla varjostamatta korttia -käytännössä siis kurottelin metrin päästä hyvin älykkään  näköisesti... Turkoosi helmiäiskartonki sai vanhan roosan väriset kehykset ja Panduron lumihiutaleet enbossasin valkoisella jauheella, jossa on pientä hopeista hilettä mukana. Lumihiutaleiden keskustoihin liimasin puolihelmet. Kortista tuli mielestäni niin sievä, etten uskaltanut edes tekstiä enää laittaa pilaamaan...Jonkun makuun ehkä turhan yksinkertainen look... Toivottavasti tykkäät. :) Eipä kummempaa tällä kertaa -oletko muuten bongannut arvontani? Osallistuaksesi klikkaa ylhäällä oikealla olevaa kuvaa. Mukavaa toista adventtia!

The layout of this card is inspired by the sketch at CASE this Sketch!. I'm sorry for the poor photo -the circumstances for taking pictures at midnight without proper light boxes ect. are not the best... I ended up photographing from above and tried my best not to shade the card with myself -this meant reaching with my arm from 1 meter away from the card... Really professional. :) Anyway, I embossed the Panduro snowflakes with shimmering white embossing powder on aqua colored pearl card. I matted on another card, the tone is something like "vintage rose". I added some pearls to the centers of the snowflakes and was already so pleased with the look that I didn't even want to add any sentiment! I hope you don't find this too simple.
