Taidanpas esitellä täällä blogissakin viime viikkoisen DT-korttini
Koukussa Kortteihin haasteeseen, kortti on tehty haasteen luonnoksen mukaan. Kortissani drinksutteleva ihana neitonen on Kenny K:n digikuva, jonka olen värittänyt Copiceilla. Nämä Kenny K.n retrokuvat ovat minusta tosi kivoja aikuisten kortteihin. Lisänä vain muutama leikkurikukkanen, kakkupaperi ja pari kulmatarraa, halusin antaa kauniille papereille ja kuvalle "tilaa hengittää". Ehkä ihan inan pienempi olisi korttipohja saanut olla, mutta ihan tyytyväinen olen kokonaisuuteen. Olen muuten keksinyt uuden tavan päästä eroon tylsän värisistä kartongeista -teen niistä tällaisia korttipohjia, jotka ovat kokonaan kuviopaperin peitossa -koska taustakartonki on täysin piilossa ei sen värillä ole väliä. Säästö se on pienikin säästö... :) Kivaa päivää sinulle ja hyvää alkanutta viikkoa!
Here's my DT card for last week's Hooked On Cards Challenge (site is in Finnish and needs registration), I thought I would share it here in my blog too. I love these retro Kenny K images, I think they work really well for cards for adults. I wanted to show off the papers so I didn't embellish too much. I've started to like these cards where you cover your whole card base with patterned paper -you can use all your boring colored cardstock for this kind of cards, nobody sees the base color, you get your boring cards used and save money. Win-win situation! I colored my image with Copics. I'm pretty happy with the card -if the base would be just a little bit smaller I'd love it...
