Addicted To Stamps And More... Sketch Time!

tiedossa on, että tykkään tehdä monen tyylisiä kortteja -välillä taas vähän vintagea. :) Upea neitoseni on päässyt korttiin Addicted To Stamps And More haasteen luonnoksen mukaisesti -luonnos nähtävillä käännöksen jälkeen. Simppeli, kiva, muuntautuu moneen! Klikkaidupas haasteblogiin katsastamaan muiden DT-ladyjen inspiroivat työt, et pety. :) Päällystin 5x7 korttipohjan DCVW:n samettitekstuuri-pintaisella kartongilla, valmiskuvan lisäksi vain Stardust suihkeilla värjäilty kakkupaperi, yksi kukka ja muutama helmi -taustakartonki on niin upea, että halusin antaa sille tilaa. Mukavaa viikon jatkoa sinulle ja toivottavasti osallistut haasteeseemme! Viime viikkoina osallistujamäärät ovat olleet hurjassa nousussa ja on ollut tosi kiva vierailla erilaisissa blogeissa, mielelläni vierailisin juuri sinun luonasi. :)

many of you know that I like to play around with different styles -vintage being one of them! This card follows the sketch at Addicted To Stamps And More, in my DT-card I added a circle to the sketch for extra fun. :) I think that layers and embellishments go well with vintage -mine is really simple though, I wanted to give some room for the velvet-finished cardstock I covered my 5X7 card base with. The doily is sprayed with some Stardust mists to fit the color scheme and that's mainly it, not much more to tell about my card! I hope you'll join us this week: the sketch is simple and fits many styles. You'll find inspiring DT cards and all the challenge info you need in the challenge blog. Huomenta ystäväiset!

Minulla on taas ihana kunnia olla It's All About The Vintage And Beauty tämän kertaisen haasteen Guest Designer yhdessä Margen kanssa, jee jee! Haasteen aiheena on "Pitsiunelmia" ja haasteen keston (lähes kuukausi!), säännöt ja osallistumisohjeet löydät haasteblogista -sieltä löytyvät myös vakituisen DT:n upeat pitsi-aiheiset työt. Leimailin korttini taustan My Minds Eyen pitsikuvioleimasimella ja embossasin kuviot valkoisella kohojauheella. En halunnut paljoakaan peittää taustaa joten kortin muut koristukset ovat varsin vähäiset. Käyttämäni kartonki on DCWV:n helmisäiskartonkia, taitaa olla Serenity-lehtiöstä -tykkään noista kartonkilehtiöistä tosi paljon, hyvä hinta-laatusuhde. Saa tehtyä itselle juuri sopivat korttipohjat ja kehystyskartonkia on runsain mitoin. Suosittelen! Hyviä jouluvalmisteluja sinulle -uskon ehtiväni tänne karkuroimaan vielä kerran ennen joulua joten jätän viralliset toivotukset sinne. :)

I, along with Marge, was chosen as Guest Designer for the current challenge at It's All About The Vintage And Beauty Challenge, so fun! The challenge theme is "Lace Dreams". You'll find all the information you need + beautiful DT-inspiration in the challenge blog, go and check it out! I stamped and embossed the background of my card with My mind's Eye's lace stamp and white embossing powder and  didn't want to cover it up too much after that. The cardstock I used is DCWV:s pearlescent cardstock from Serenity stack. I like to use these DCWV cardstock collections: you never run out of framing cardstock and you are able to make card bases of many colors and just the sizes you need. I highly recommend these stacks! That's all from me now... Have fun preparing for Christmas! I think I'll be able to run way to my blog once more before the Christmas Eve so I'll leave the official Christmas wishes there! Make Your Mark Challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More!

Addicted to Stamps and More haastaa nyt tussien käyttöön! Tussien merkillä ei ole väliä, mutta jonkun sortin väritystä pitäisi työstäsi löytyä. :) All That Scraps toimii haasteen sponsorina. Tsekkaile ATSM:n sivuilta lisätiedot, osallistumis-ohjeet ja muiden DT-ladyjen kauniit kauniit kortit!

Minä värittelin uuden Penny Black-settini kukkaset Copiceilla. Leikkasin 5x7-korttipohjan kahtia ja napsuttelin reunat Fiskarsin leikkurilla, sitten liimasin kannen punaisenkirjavalle kartongille koristekuvion korostamiseksi. Jätin taustakartongin sen verran suuremmaksi, että sain nuutattua siihen "saranat" ja kiinnitin sen korttipohjan toiseen puoleen eli kortti aukeaa taas kuin normaali kaksiosainen korttipohja. Vähän taustapaperia lisäksi, parit helmet, siinä se! Kesäinen meininki täällä pakkasen keskellä. :) Nyt ei muuta kuin tussit esille ja värittelemään, kiva nähdä, mitä kaikkea keksitte!

I used Copics to color in a stamped image from my new Penny Black- flower stamp set. To create the cover I cut a 5x7 card base to half and punched the decorative corners and borders with my Fiskars punch. I then glued the cover to red-colored cardstock to show off the decorative design better. I left the red cardstock a bit bigger so that I could score a  "hinge" and attach it to the back cover of the card base- now it opens like a normal card again. Some designer paper and pearls and I announced it ready! :) I look forward seeing what you'll create with your markers.  Happy crafting! 

Yksinkertaisesti eleganttia / Simple But Elegant

toivottavasti olet kanssani samaa mieltä, minusta tästä tuli hurjan kiva! Jatkan yhä CAS-linjalla. Tein paneelin käyttämällä uutta Fiskarsin reunaleikkuriani ja jämäsuikaleita silppulaatikosta. Monet noista papereista kimaltelevat kivasti ja korttipohjakartonkikin on helmiäishohtoinen. Musta ja pinkki on kyllä ihanan dramaattinen väriyhdistelmä. Tälle päivälle ei kummempia, työt kutsuvat ja myöhemmin käyn kaupungilla täydentämässä lukija-candyni valmiiksi... Kannattaa siis tulla viikonloppuna kurkkaamaan! :)

I hope you agree with me, I think this one became really nice! I decided to make yet another CAS card using my Fiskars-punch and some leftover paper strips. Many of the papers have a nice shine to them and the card-base is also shimmery. I think pink and black is such a dramatic color combo! I'll keep it short today, I'm off to work. Later I'll go to the city to finish off my follower's candy so come back on the weekend to see what's in it and take part in the draw! :)

Addicted to Stamps and More- haasteessa luonnostellaan tällä viikolla! Kivan simppeli luonnos, erinomainen vaikka koristeellisten joulupapereiden esittelyyn. Itse halusin tehdä tummanpuhuvan kortin, olen jo viikkoja halunnut... DT-kortissa käyttämäni DCWV:n glitterkartonki on luonnossa upean ja tyylikkään sävyistä, tykkään! Jos osaatte muuten suositella kuviopaperikokoelmaa, josta löytyisi esimerkiksi viininpunaisia ja tummanvioletteja papereita, vinkatkaa ihmeessä... Vielä etsinnässä. :) ATSAM:n luonnoshaasteeseen voit osallistua (Suomen aikaa) ensi tiistaihin 23.10. klo 15.59 saakka. We are having a sketch challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More this week! The sketch is great for showing off your beautiful Christmas papers if you are into making Christmas cards at the moment. I really wanted to create a card with dark, rich tones and this is what I came up with: I think the DCWV glitter cardstock has a beautiful, stylish color. By the way, if you guys can recommend a patterned paper collection with burgundy and plum tones, I would be happy to hear about it, I can't seem to find! Väriä elämään/ So colorful!

Huh huh...
Nyt on kyllä väriä niin paljon, että melkein silmiä kirvelee! Tämän kortin teko alkoi inspiksen vallassa -olen nähnyt monella näitä "neljän neliön taustoja" ja halusin kokeilla itse samaa - ja päättyi epätoivossa, kun leimailin kulmakoristeita miten sattuu ja jouduin keksimään ratkaisut virheiden peittelyn. Siitä siis jättiläiskukat -alunperin oli tarkoitus käyttää noita leimattuja auringonkukkia, joita valmistin neljä -auringonkukat on leimattu, väritetty, irti leikattu ja glossytetty. Kolme kukkasta odottelee nyt sitten pääsyä johonkin tulevaisuuden projektiin, kun olivatkin yhtäkkiä liian pieniä tähän. :) Epäonnisesta luonteestaan huolimatta osallistun kortillani niihin haasteisiin, kuin aioinkin, virheistä viis! :) Leppoisaa sunnuntaita ja tsemppiä viikon alkuun, kiva kun kävit täällä!

There's so much colors now that my eyes are almost hurting! I started to make this card in an inspired mood: I have seen many bloggers using these backgrounds made out of 4 squares and wanted to try myself. In the end I messed up my whole embellishing plan by stamping the corner swirls badly and had to find two giant flowers to cover up my mistakes... I was originally supposed to use 4 of those stamped, colored, fuzzy cut and glossy-covered sunflowers but after messing up with ink, I had to change my plan. Well, now I have 3 flowers waiting for future use. Despite the misfortune of the card, I want to take part in the challenges I had in my mind:

Tämä kortti syntyi eilen aamulla inspiksen vallassa löydettyäni Addicted to Stamps- haasteen, jossa oli mielestäni haastava bingo -lopulta päädyin valitsemaan rivin harmaa, nuuttaus ja ympyrä. En ole muistaakseni koskaan tehnyt harmaata korttia ja nyt olenkin ihan ihmeissäni -harmaahan on hurmaava! Kortin taittelumallista kuuluu kiitos Tarulle, jonka blogissa on haaste ja arvonta liittyen tähän korttimalliin, kannattaa tsekata! Taru, jos malliasi käyttäen ei olisi saanut osallistua muihin haasteisiin, poista mut sitten vaan arvonnasta! Kiitos kivasta taittelumallista! Nyt kipin kapin töihin. This card saw daylight yesterday, I was very inspired of a bingo at Addicted to Stamps-challenge. I chose grey, score and circle and was in the end very surprised why I have never before really used grey -it's an amazing color! DT kortti, Rakkaus/ DT card, Love

Hei! Näytille ensimmäinen DT-korttini  Koukussa kortteihin-haasteeseen, jonka aiheena on rakkaus. Haaste julkaistiin itse asiassa jo 12.8., kortti täällä blogini puolella vasta nyt, pahoittelut! Haasteeseen on vielä aikaa osallitua 18.8. asti. Kortti meni hyville ystävilleni häälahjan mukana, mielestäni oli hauska antaa vähän perinteistä poikkeava hääkortti. Nauhat olivat kuvaushetkellä vielä superpitkät, leikkasin ne toki ennen kortin antoa... Mielettömän kaunis, samettipintainen paperi on DCWV:n, paperikon nimen saan selville, jos kyselet ja kaivelen paperipinoa. :) Klikkaa kuvia halutessasi isommaksi! Hi! This is my first DT-card for Hooked on cards- challenge with a love-theme. The challenge was actually published already 12th of August but I couldn't get the photos to my blog sooner than now, sorry about that! The challenge runs until 18th of August. I gave the card to my good friends with their wedding gift - I think it was fun to give a less traditional wedding card. The super beautiful, velvet-finished paper is from DCWV, I can find out the name of the collection if needed. Oh, by the way, I cut the ribbon a lot shorter before I gave the card. :) Please click the pictures bigger if you want. There's another wedding card waiting to be posted, maybe on the weekend... Juhlitaan! / Let's celebrate!

Perjantai! Kohti viikonlopun viettoa, itselläni on luvassa hyvän ystävän polttarien juhlintaa, jipiajee! Juhlava on myös tämä näytille tuleva korttini, jolla osallistun muutamaan haasteeseen. Kynttiläkruunu-leimasin on Hero Artsin, tekstileimasimen valmistajaa en muista ja paperit ovat DCWV:n Black Currant-paperikosta. Kerrankin sain ängettyä yllätävän monta koristetta samaan korttiin, koristeellinen look sopi mielestäni hyvin metallinhohtoisten paperien kaveriksi. Kiitos kun vierailit blogissani, kommenttisi ilahduttaisi minua kovasti, tervetuloa taas pian uudestaan!

Welcome Friday, welcome weekend, jabadabaduu! I'm going to celebrate this weekend, my good friend has her bachelorette party, will be fun! Today's card is also really festive. The chandelier is from Hero Arts, papers are from DCWV and unfortunately I can't remember the maker of the sentiment stamp. I'm happy that I for once found places for many embellishments in my card, I think the rich and blingy look goes well with the ornamental paper that has a slight oriental feel to it.
