Color Challenge at Inkspirational!
Hi guys!
We had a fantastic amount of entries in our Anything Goes Challenge at Inkspirational and now we hope you to be inspired of the color combo of yellow and brown! You may use any hues of these colors -for example kraft and gold- and combine them with neutrals. Inkspirational is celebrating it's 1 year Anniversary, yay! Congratulations us! :)
I made a very simple card using a stamp set from Crafty Secrets. This was fast and easy to make -I stamped the border and the little chicken, colored her with my Copics and added twine. I then spent some time thinking if I'd frame my image panel or not -I tried some different brown and yellow cards behind it... But in the end I decided to be very CAS and leave the matting layer away. I can't decide if I like my decision or not! :)
I hope you'll now head on over to the challenge blog for the rest of the DT cards -they are fantastic! After that... Happy Crafting!

:) Luonnos on Sketch Saturday- haasteblogista, tosin vähän kaukana olen alkuperäisestä! Apris, nyt pääsen vihdoin osallistumaan arvontaasi! Osallistukaapas muutkin, teemana on pääsiäinen 21.3. saakka). Kiitos paljon Eemelille tästä ringistä ja nyt alkaakin hauska osuus -jämistä askartelu! :)
Hi friends!
My Easter card started with a sketch from Sketch Saturday but I feel I might have gone too far from it... So please remove my link if necessary! My chickens (or roosters?) are from a Crafty Secrets set and I've colored them with Copics. I used my imagination -I'm not sure if any real chickens look like this. :) The eggs are peel-off stickers and that's about it, some jute fabric for rustic feel. Have a good Sunday and thanks for popping by!

Yksinkertaisella Linjoilla / Feeling Simple
Heippa! Tässä postauksessa on esillä kaksi CAS-luonnoshaasteisiin tekemääni korttia. Olen tosi innostunut tästä CAS-suuntauksesta tällä hetkellä: on hauskaa mietiskellä, miten kortista saisi mahdollisimman mielenkiintoisen mahdollisimman vähillä lisäyksillä. Toivottavasti tykkäät korteistani ja leppoisaa sunnuntaita sinulle!
Hi! Here's two cards that I made yesterday for sketch challenges : the first one is for CAS Colours and Sketches and the second one, with the rooster, for CASE this Sketch. I'm really into CAS at the moment, I like to think about how to make the card interesting without adding too much. I hope you like them! So, the first sketch and my first card:
I've used my favorite solid flower stamp to represent the circles of the sketch. I added couple of butterflies (Kanban Stamps) heat embossed with Ranger's powder that leaves a rough, textured surface. Some stones and a sentiment from Chocolate Baroque. That's that! :) The second sketch and my second card:
I took some liberties with the sketch... I have two sentiments, the other one represents the vertical line in the sketch and well, I can't say my rooster looks a lot like the banner of the sketch! But he looks quite funny in his party hat, don't you think? :) The rooster comes from a set of stamps by Crafty Secrets and the birthday-text is from Kanban. Thanks for popping by and I hope you liked my cards!

Bee Happy! Tuesday Throwdown DT Card
Helei!
Tiistai koitti, tämän viikkoisen Tuesday Throwdown haasteen aika! Tällä viikolla kaikki voivat osallistua -teemana on "Anything Goes" eli kaikki käy. Palkinnon tarjoaa The Cutting Cafe, jonka mehiläis-aiheista digisettiä olen käyttänyt tässä kortissa - löydät setin täältä. Toivottavasti osallistuisit haasteeseemme -haasteblogissa hienoja DT-kortteja, käyhän kurkkaamassa!
Hi friends,
it's Tuesday, time for Tuesday Throwdown! This week everybody can take part: our theme is "Anything Goes"! The Cutting Cafe is sponsoring us this week and the bee- themed digi set I've used in my DT-card is from their selection, you'll find it here. I made the background myself: After printing the text I sponged my paper with Distress Inks and also sprayed a bit of water for "white spots". Then I dried the paper with my heat tool and stamped some chicken wire to the edges, that stamp comes from Crafty Secrets. The final step was sponging more Distress Ink through Punchinella to get the circles. I kept my markers in the drawer and sponged the bees as well. Some jute string and a couple of blings finished odd the card. I like the end result although 3 of the darling bees became bold -I struggled in cutting their antennas and in the end, had to cut them out... Poor bees! :) I hope you'll join us this week, use the link above for admiring the work of the rest of the design team!
