Green neon nails

Hi,
Today I'll show you my new green neon nails. I created these for a competition I took part in on Instagram (see more details here). I used white nail polish and two shades of green: Claire's -Beach neon nail polish and Sinful Colors -Happy ending. On the middle fingers, I stamped the design from Cheeky Beauty's stamping plate GA26, whereas on the pointer and pinkie I applied Cherimoya's +/- Magnetic #19 black and white glitter.

After everything has dried, I applied my new fluorescent top coat from Born Pretty store. Unfortunately, it was very hard for me to capture how it really looks like in reality, but that's the closer I could get. The effect is visible in the dark, but only after exposing your nails in an UV lamp or under night club neons.

So, what do you think?

Mermaid nail art

Hi,
Today I'll show you my new mermaid nail art. This one was inspired by the base colour I was wearing, Sirene  from I Love Nail Polish. If you firstly thought that I had a gradient on my nails, you were wrong. This colour is the definition of perfection: it's both holographic and duo-chrome!

Find below some swatches of ILNP -Sirene and be prepared to fall in love with it.

After applying the base colour, I stamped the scales from Cheeky Beauty's GA14 stamping plate. On my accent nail, I applied some gold shell charms and pearls which I got from Born Pretty store. I finished with clear top coat. What do you think?

Pin-up nail art

Hi,
Today I'll show you my first pin-up manicure. I have to say that Gia Makeup Blog was my main source of inspiration. After seeing her beautiful cherry nails and her posts about pin-up,
I knew I had to do them!
I started with a coat of Oriflame -Night fever and after it dried completely, I applied some round french stickers like these here and applied two coats of Illamasqua -Alarm. I removed the stickers before the nail polish dried. Then I created some dots and lines using white nail polish and the brushes and dotting tools set from Born Pretty store.
On my accent nail, I started with two coats of white (Flormar -M01) and then I stamped the cherry design from Cheeky Beauty's GA16 stamping plate. I finished with Golden Rose -Matte Top coat on all nails, but didn't apply it over the black part.
What do you think?

I attached the two pictures below so you can better see that the reverse french is shiny, while the rest of the design is matte. To achieve this effect, I used Golden Rose -Matte Top coat.

MIYO Nail Polish #28 & Shimmer Polish -Liana

Hi,
Today I'll show you my new polish from MIYO. In the pictures, I wear two coats of #28, without any clear top coat above. I actually got this from a local online store, Magiq

Buna,
Astazi va voi arata noua mea oja de la MIYO. In poze e nuanta #28, aplicata in doua straturi, fara top coat transparent deasupra.

I applied some striping tape and then created the two three coloured design. The darker green is Illamasqua -Kink and the glitter polish is Shimmer Polish -Liana. Between two colours, I stamped a straight line from Cheeky Beauty's GA4 stamping plate, using Super Star -SoHo Chic. I finished with clear top coat. What do you think?

Am aplicat niste benzi subtiri (striping tape) pentru a crea modelul in trei culori.

Here's the beautiful Liana. Aceasta este frumoasa Liana.

You can find Shimmer Polish glitters online, on Etsy. A 0.5 Fl. Oz. bottle costs $12 and they can be shipped worldwide. Puteti gasi ojele cu glitter Shimmer Polish online, pe Etsy. O sticluta 0.4 Fl. Oz. costa 12 dolari si pot fi trimise si spre Romania.

T.P.A. Group Challenge: 4. Inspired by a season - autumn

Hi,
Today I'll show you the forth manicure I created for the T.P.A. Group Challenge. It should have been 'Inspired by a season', so I got inspired by the rainy season - autumn. Right now, it's terribly raining in my city, so you'll understand why I didn't paint leaves on my nails.
I started with two coats of Flormar #431 on all nails and then, using white polish, I stamped the umbrellas from Cheeky Beauty's GA38 (the full nail design) and GA19 (the single umbrella) stamping plates. On my accent nail, I applied a small, silver rhinestone at the top of my umbrella. I finished with clear top coat on all nails. What do you think?

T.P.A. Group Challenge: 2. Inspired by a flower - Rose fence

Hi,
Today I'll show you the second manicure in the T.P.A. Group Challenge: Inspired by a flower. My nail art represents a rose fence, which was actually my inspiration.

I started with two coats of  Claire's -Lonely/Loved and then I stamped the design from Cheeky's GA21 using white polish to create the wooden fence look. Then I stamped the branches from Bundle Monster's BM-323 plate using Konad -Special Green. I finished with some roses from a no-brand image plate (B51) using Sinful Colors -Dream On. I finished with clear top coat on all nails. What do you think?

LAVlacquer -Cotton Candy Sweet As Gold

Hi,
Today I'll show you LAVlacquer's Cotton Candy Sweet As Gold. It's a mix of pink, yellow and green big and small hexagonal particles in a clear to pink base. That's why I applied it over two coats of Avon -Pink Pearl. After a single coat, there is enough glitter so as to not need the appliance of another coat. Moreover, it dried really fast and clear top coat wasn't needed. On my ring finger, I stamped the cherry design from Cheeky Beauty's GA16 plate. What do you think?
Visit LAVlacquer's etsy shop for more details and awesome polishes!

Navy manicure

Hi,
Today I'll show you another summer inspired manicure idea: navy nails. I started with two coats of Illamasqua -Scorch on all nails, except my thumb and pinky on which I applied two coats of Astor #070. I stamped the stripes from Cheeky Beauty's GA21 plate. On my middle finger, I also applied some more blue on the tip using a sponge and stamped afterwards the anchor design from QA5 image plate. You can find this plate online, at Born Pretty store. On my ring finger I stamped the helm from the same image plate, using red nail polish. Lastly, I applied two square rhinestones on my pinky. I finished with clear top coat on all nails. What do you think?

Coca Cola Cherry manicure

Hi,
Today I'll show you my Coca Cola Cherry inspired manicure. The base colour I used for this was Shimmer Polish -Eva, a  dark red nail polish with dark particles of glitter. I only applied two coats to get an opaque effect. You can find it together with many other beautiful glitter polishes online, on Etsy. A 0.5 Fl. Oz. bottle costs $12 and they can be shipped worldwide. Don't forget to like Shimmer Polish on facebook so as to always be informed with the latest arrivals.

For the bottle stamping, I used Cheeky Beauty's GA32 plate. The white polish used for stamping was from Born Pretty. You can get it for $3,29 with free international shipping. I finished with clear top coat. What do you think?

Summer nails

Hi,
Today I'll show you two summery manicures, in spite of the bad weather here. You will see both my nails and my best friend's in the pictures below.

For my nails, I started with two coats of Avon -Pink Pearl and then, using a sponge, I applied Claire's -Funky/Fabulous on the tips. I finished with two coats of Cherimoya +/- Magnetic #19, which is a black and white mix of various shapes and sizes of sequins in a clear polish base. Simple as that, but eye-catchy.

For my friend's nails, I started with a coat of white polish as a base for the colourful gradient. The nail polishes used for it were Avon -Inspire, Avon -Mandarin Magic and Claire's -Funky/Fabulous. Using black nail polish, I stamped the design from Cheeky's GA26 plate. I finished with a clear top coat.

And now, an extra picture of our delicious watermelon cocktails. What do you think?
