Orange summer nails

Hi,
Today I'll show you a colourful summer manicure I easily created using two different orange nail polishes. I used China Glaze - Sun of a peach and Essence - 96 Orange to go and applied both of them in two layers. Then, using the L04 stamping plate from Born Pretty and black stamping polish, I created two designs on my nails. I finished with Seche Vite top coat for some extra shine. What do you think?

Don’t forget that if you want to order something from Born Pretty you can use my code for a 10% discount: MKAK31.

Ethnic nails

Hi,
Today I'll show you my new ethnic manicure I easily created using some water decals from Born Pretty store. I started with a coat of white nail polish as a base for the nails where I was going to apply the decals. The nail polished I used on the rest of the nails were El Corazon - Matte Effect 111 (pink) and China Glaze - Too Yacht to Handle (green). If you aren't familiar with water decals, they're really easy to use and they're great for quick manicures. Firstly you have to remove the protection foil from the sheet and then cut smaller pieces containing the designs you're going to use. Next, sink them in a small bowl with water for about 30 seconds. When you take them from the water, you'll notice that de design will easily come off the sheet and you'll be able to stick it on the nail. You'll just have to be very careful as it's really thin and can easily fold by mistake. If you're using them for the first time, just take a little time and pay some extra attention. After a few uses, you'll find them really easy to utilise. I finished my manicure with clear top coat on all nails. What do you think?

Ice cream nails

Hi,
Today I'm participating in a nail art challenge with some other amazing girls and the theme is ice cream. For this manicure, I started with two coats of nude nail polish and then I stamped the design from Konad's m57 image plate with a darker brown so as to create the ice cream cone effect. Then I painted the ice cream globes using a thin brush. For my thumb, index finger and pinkie, I used Rimmel - Sweet retreat and for the rest of the nails I combined China Glaze - Too Yacht to Handle and some Love Charlotte nail polish. Finally, I added some sprinkles and them clear top coat. What do you think?

Don't forget to check out the other girls' manicures, they're all pretty!

Summer animal print nails

Hi,
Today I'll show you an animal print nail art which I think is perfect for the hot, summer days. I started with two coats of El Corazon - Matte Effect #125 (white) on all nails and let it dry. On the first two nails, I stamped the zebra and leopard print design from Konad's m78 image plate and filled in the design using yellow and orange. On the last two nails, I created a simple gradient using China Glaze - Sun of A Peach and Rimmel - Daisy Days. Obviously, I applied Kaleidoscope Cuticle Defender around my nails before doing the gradient, so as to prevent the mess and save myself a lot of time which I would had spent cleaning everything up. I finished with clear top coat.
What do you think?

This is how my nail art sponge looked like for this gradient. You can get a set of 3 sponges from LadyQueen.com, for only $1.29 - find it here on their website. You can also benefit from a

Turquoise animal print nails

Hi,
Today I'll show you an old manicure I never got the chance to post. This is a really easy to do mix and match. The dark blue polish is Rimmel - Adam n Eve it and the turquoise one is China Glaze - Too Yacht to Handle. On my middle finger, I applied the two nail polishes over a white base, using a sponge. The animal print on my ring finger was created freehand, using a thin brush. At the end, I applied clear top coat to seal in everything.

I'd also like to show you a manicure I did on a friend's nails a while ago. All was painted freehand. The nude nail polish is Rimmel - Let's get nude. What do you think?

Roses nail art

Hi,
Today I'll show you a new stamped manicure which I created using one of Born Pretty's new image plates. I started with two coats of Avon - Iceberg white on all nails and then I transferred the roses design on the stamper using black stamping polish. The image plate used for this nail art was BP-73. After that, I filled it in using China Glaze - Too Yacht to Handle and China Glase - Sun of A Peach and added a coat of clear nail polish so as to unstick it all at once and transfer it on the nail. You can see more details about the procedure in the picture below. I finished with clear top coat on all nails. What do you think?

Don't forget to use MKAK31 coupon code for a discount with any order on Born Pretty store.

The stamper I used for this manicure was Born Pretty's rectangular stamper.

Heart print nail art

Happy Valentine's day!

Today's manicure will be a themed one - this year I chose heart print. I started with a coat of white nail polish, which was the base of my pink and orange gradient. The nail polishes used were China Glaze - Sun of a peach and Trind - Burst my bubble. After that, I painted the hearts and outlined them using black nail polish so as to look like the animal print design. I finised with clear top coat. What do you think?

Saran wrap nails

Hi,
Today I'll show you a manicure I created for a maniswap on Instagram with @whispersofthewind. I recreated her chevron manicure on a saran wrap base.
Watch this tutorial for details on how to do a saran wrap nail art. I know there are a lot of techniques you can use for this type of manicure, but I find this one the easiest. I used only three polishes to do it: China Glaze -Sun of a Peach, China Glaze -Too Yacht To Handle and Rimmel -312 Ultra Violet. I finished with clear top coat.

After my base completely dried, I applied extra wide chevrons and topped with white nail polish (the white nail polish I'm currently using is ProNails - Extreme White). After removing the vinyls, I again applied clear top coat.

I got my chevrons online, from Nails Redesigned. Below you can see my entire order. I really like all the vinyls because they are not too sticky, which makes them easy to handle and remove. Their prices are accessible and international shipping is available. I received my order really fast - about 10 days - considering I am on the other side of the world.
