So, this is one of the variations of Easter cards I am sending out this year. I had fun coloring the image in with watercolor pencils. I am entering this into the Simon Says Anything Goes challenge--my favorite!! :-)

St. Louis Cardinals - 2012
I am entering it into Simon Says Stamp blog anything-goes Wednesday challenge, and I am also entering it my friend Stacy's challenge to use black! I found the black sheet of paper on my table and the arrow on the floor and decided to go back and FINALLY scrapbook our trip to see the St. Louis Cardinals around Steve's birthday in 2012! So, thanks for the challenge Stacy. You helped me cleanup my scrap room a bit!

Octopus vulgaris
I made this layout with the new Graphic 45 collection "By the Sea." Do you think I could have found a better patterned paper for my photos? I think not!!
Anyway, I made this for my friend Stacy's challenge and also for Simon Says Journey challenge. We journeyed to San Francisco....

Canvas is My Latest Obsession!
So, my latest obsession is making mixed media canvasses. I love the Julie Nutting dolls from Prima! You have to paper piece them to get fun dresses, but it is worth it to me. I embossed the hearts so they would fit my friend Stacy's challenge. I'd like to encourage you to enter her challenge-she is so sweet and leaves you love, and there is always a nice prize for someone! I also decided to enter it into Simon Says Show Anything Goes. I used some Faber Castell gelatos that I won from them a long time ago as well as some distress paint and stamps! The saying comes from CTMH.
I hope you like her. I am in love with doing these!
Thanks for looking! I'll have more soon! maybe even today!

Easter Eggs
Well, seeing how I have posted for so many days in a row, it seems I am back to scrapbooking in full force!!! I love this layout and love this collection from Webster's Pages so much. It is called Girl Land, but you can see that it CAN be adapted to a boys' layout quite easily!!!! I made it for the Page Maps Challenge and sketch found when you click the link. To me, the prize Webster's Pages is providing is the best of the best: the new Plum Seeds line. I'd be so happy to win it!!!! Anyway, I digress. I adapted my layout to 12 x 12. I thought it would be fun to dig out an old Sizzix bunny die for this cute layout and stamped the chipboard that they are sitting on with a Webster's stamp that matches the collection. I also gave each bunny a blingy-heart to hold!!!
Thanks for visiting! If you leave a comment letting me know you stopped by, I'd be happy to return the favor!!
Have a great day!

Picture Perfect - Disc Golf
I love it when Steve and Mitch play together! Here, I've captured each of them getting ready to throw the disc golf toward the target! They are both so intense!!!!! I created this using this fun sketch from Page Maps and incorporated borders per the challenge instructions. I added a camera from Amy Tan's collection to qualify for Simon Says Stamp Says Take a Picture Challenge. I used a bunch of Jillibean Soup and American Crafts for this page but also added a stamped border of some great stamps from Teresa Collins Designs.
I love all of the color in the page and think the arrows are fun for the movement of the game!
Thanks for looking!!!
I hope you are having a great Memorial Day weekend!

Charlie in the Snow
Here is Charlie in the "snow." Little did we know that we would have several blizzards after that and well into March! Hopefully, spring will poke its head out soon seeing how today is the first day of APRIL! Anyway, I made this for Simon Says Stamp Anything Goes. It is my third entry!

Mini Book/Graduation Card
I made this little book/graduation card using one 8 1/2" by 11" sheet of paper! I love that the inside middle is a surprise. I got the butterfly, bird, and girl silhouette stamps from Simon Says Stamp and also am entering in their Anything Goes challenge this week. The zinnias are from Flourishes and the rest of the stamps are Close to My Heart! The base is kraft cardstock and the rest is either Crate Paper or DCWV.
Thanks for looking! I made this for my son's girlfriend for graduation.
Hope you have a great week!

2009-Booster Bucks
The making of this layout turned out to be a little eerie. The photos were taken in November of 2009 and have just been sitting around waiting for me to make a layout. Well, Sunday and yesterday I spent some time on this layout. I just felt like it was time. After I finished it, I found out that Mr. Wilson passed away on Sunday. It felt kind of strange to me that I had this urge to do these particular photos, not knowing that Mr. Wilson had died... Anyway, I used embellishments from the American Crafts Chaps line which I totally love!!!!!! My journaling is a little difficult to read but I basically said Mitch was excited to win a scholarship when he participated in the Booster Bucks fundraiser for the Speech and Debate team. Not only did he help the team, he also was lucky to win the scholarship draw! I am entering this in the Scrapfit Good Ole' Boys challenge!
Thanks for visiting! I hope you are having a great day!

Emily and Mitch Again
I made this layout with some Valentine's paper that I got from Doodlebug even though the kids were making Christmas cookies! Hey, what can I say? I loved the papers! I added some ribbon along the photos for my friend Stacy's challenge. Why don't you head over there and make a layout for her challenge. Adding ribbon (she'd love to see some creativity) is the only requirement!! Anyway, the little camera was a stamp from Imaginisce. I added a jewel where the flash is and a brad in the center with a heart!
Have a great day!

2nd half of Frenchie's Small Headed Beginnings
Here's the 2nd half of the layout that I posted earlier! I used the CTMH Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge to make the letters and the spiral for the flower! I distressed both with Ranger's distress inks. I also used a CTMH stamp. Steve picked some dried sedum from our yard to serve as Frenchie's hair!
Thanks for visiting!!!!! Hope you are having a great weekend!

Christmas tag
I created these tags for my stamp club for our December trade. We decided to do tags this year instead of cards. I was prompted to get them going today by a Hero Arts challenge as well as the Scrapfit #55 challenge to make a Christmas tag or card as well as Really Reasonable Ribbon's Challenge #35 Christmas Theme. I was rather pleased with how these came out. On the back, I have a fun Fiskars stamp that has a " to: and from: " box in a cool shape. Naturally, when I went to photograph these, I forgot to take a photo of the back. I ran some Ranger distress ink along the edges of the cool tag I found on a fun Cricut cartridge I have. I also pop-dotted the small tree and stippled some darker ink over the stamping on it to make it stand out from the other tree. It is amazing how much time making 12 tags took me. I don't even want to admit how long it took!
On a side note: I had to end up taking a high dose (for me) of prednisone along with an antibiotic for my leg surgery--I had what was probably an infection and excess inflammation. They seem to be doing the trick, but I'm praying that I don't gain weight with the prednisone like I usually do! I'm already as big as I've ever been. I'm going to try to keep hitting the gym as much as possible to help prevent it!

Coronado--San Diego Trip
I decided to do another entry for the Simon Says Anything Goes Challenge. They want a lot of entries, so I don't mind sharing! I used mostly Webster's Pages, but I also added a darling crochet flower which was so kindly given to me by Tracey. You should check out her blog if you have a chance. She does the most fantastic scrapbook layouts. I also used a CTMH stamp set.
Thanks for visiting!
