Boy, it's been a while since I posted anything.  I have had a lot going on my life the past year or so!

I'm excited to have created these fun Easter cards for the Anything Goes challenge over at Simon Says Stamp!

Campus Visit

Here's a layout I made using mostly Echo Park Times & Seasons. I added some vintage buttons, some arrow from CTMH, a vinyl clock that was in my stash and a pretty doily. I got the doily and Times & Seasons pack from Rebecca. Thanks, Rebecca!! She does amazing work also if you'd care to go visit her.  Anyway, I'm entering this layout into Simon Says Anything Goes--my favorite challenge hands down! :-)

Our Home - in the Blizzard of 2006

I made this layout for The Paper Variety's challenge to include the word "home", a embellishment, or a house theme on your paper project.using Sketchy Thursday's latest sketch! I found these photos of our home in a big snow back in 2006 when I was looking through old Christmas cards recently. I thought it was fun that the perfect sketch and challenge came up right after I found them!

Early 1970s - What a Hoot! and some really cute buttons

                                                       

I found this cute sketch at My Scraps and More and thought of this old photo of my twin sister, little (now 6' 3") brother and me.  I kind of added some pinks and blues and some very masculine elements along with some very feminine ones. Simple, but I like it...

Also, I was thrilled when Ursula Luserke custom made these darling buttons and sent them to me from Germany! She has quite the knack for making these!

                                   

My Beautiful Mother in 1963

I made this out of the Heartfelt collection from MLS! I just love it! Erin sent it over to me! I was thrilled to get it as it is my favorite collection from them!  I look at this picture and see so much beauty there! My mother had this made for my dad when he was sent overseas right after they got married! It must have been hard for them to be separated. They haven't been separated since and are still as in love now as they were then!  I'm entering this in a challenge at Sketches 4 All...

I'm on a Sassafras Las Kick -- My Niece in 1994

I made this Spring layout with Sassafras Las's monthly challenge sketch!  The only things that are not Sassafras Las (Sweetly Smitten) are the hand-made by my friend Mary crochet flowers which go so well with the papers and dyed doily made by Marg Oliver!  I also did some hand-stitching around the rectangles and did a little doodling with a white pen around the perimeter of the layout! I love that the little banner is made up of hearts if you look closely!  I am entering this at Lasting Memories Challenge #32 - Spring Is In The Air With Artful Delight! (a new spot for me).  Spring is incorporated by adding flowers and Julie is a Spring baby so the one year birthday picture and other photos count! I thought this turned out pretty cute! I incorporated the white flowers for The Paper Variety's April Showers Bring May Flowers :) challenge.
