Getting Ready for Easter!

I'm starting to make Easter cards. I love Springtime from Authentique. The 3 x 4 cards make it so easy to make a cute card.  I'll be sharing more later. I am entering this in the Simon Says Anything Goes challenge this week.

Easter Eggs

Well, seeing how I have posted for so many days in a row, it seems I am back to scrapbooking in full force!!!  I love this layout and love this collection from Webster's Pages so much.  It is called Girl Land, but you can see that it CAN be adapted to a boys' layout quite easily!!!!  I made it for the Page Maps Challenge and sketch found when you click the link. To me, the prize Webster's Pages is providing is the best of the best:  the new Plum Seeds line. I'd be so happy to win it!!!! Anyway, I digress.  I adapted my layout to 12 x 12.  I thought it would be fun to dig out an old Sizzix bunny die for this cute layout and stamped the chipboard that they are sitting on with a Webster's stamp that matches the collection.  I also gave each bunny a blingy-heart to hold!!!

Thanks for visiting! If you leave a comment letting me know you stopped by, I'd be happy to return the favor!!

Have a great day!

1998-Coloring Easter Eggs with a friend

I made this for Page Maps 7 year anniversary challenge to make your own stamp (I cut out an old Sizzix sizzlet butterfly image onto foam and then stamped away! I decided to spritz the page with a little mist to represent some of the coloring. I used two Doodlebug collection for this and their twine. I believe the brads are Teresa Collins. and the hat pins are Maya Road.  Thanks for looking. It was fun going back to these old photos of Mitch from when he was almost four.... He's 19 now....

Easter 1999

Sketch1_stars_042709

Even though we are extremely busy right now with trying to sell our house and ending up Mitchell's senior year, I felt an urge to participate in some of the challenges for NSD. I made this layout using all Jillibean Soup patterned paper--no cardstock.  I used Jillibean's sketch and am entering it in their challenge as well as Frosted Designs challenge to use only patterned paper....

Mitch was almost five years old in these photos. It is hard to believe he will be graduating from high school in two weeks!

Thanks for looking.

Easter Treats

I'm entering Mitch and Emily's Easter treats in the Simon Says Use Your Favorite Tool challenge. I don't really have a favorite--I love all my tools equally! Ha Ha! But, I do use my Cricut a lot! Plus, don't you just love the heart box that I made with the CTMH Art Philosophy Cartridge???  I made the bunny from the Winter Wonderland cartridge with some yummy Basic Grey papers... The boxes themselves are American Crafts!  The candy was handmade at the Columbia, Missouri, Candy Factory!!!!

Thanks for looking, and I hope your Easter is special!!!

Stuart and Leo - Easter Take 2

Has anyone else noticed that blogger has changed the way you add images? Anyway, here is another layout I did of the boys. It was for my friend Stacy's Mix It Up challenge where you were limited to 4 types of items: ribbon, glitter, stamps, and stickers.

I woke in the middle of the night with a splitting migraine. I feel ok this morning but wanted to feel great!!! Lots to do today! Wish me luck!

Have a wonderful 4th of July weekend to all of my USA friends and fantastic weekend for everyone else!

Thanks for stopping by! Comments make my day!
