1998-Coloring Easter Eggs with a friend

I made this for Page Maps 7 year anniversary challenge to make your own stamp (I cut out an old Sizzix sizzlet butterfly image onto foam and then stamped away! I decided to spritz the page with a little mist to represent some of the coloring. I used two Doodlebug collection for this and their twine. I believe the brads are Teresa Collins. and the hat pins are Maya Road.  Thanks for looking. It was fun going back to these old photos of Mitch from when he was almost four.... He's 19 now....

Thanks for visiting!

Emily and Mitch Again

I made this layout with some Valentine's paper that I got from Doodlebug even though the kids were making Christmas cookies! Hey, what can I say? I loved the papers! I added some ribbon along the photos for my friend Stacy's challenge. Why don't you head over there and make a layout for her challenge. Adding ribbon (she'd love to see some creativity) is the only requirement!! Anyway, the little camera was a stamp from Imaginisce. I added a jewel where the flash is and a brad in the center with a heart!

Have a great day!

Mitch in Santa Hat--2009

I made this for Artful Delight's April Challenge!  I thought the sketch was so much fun! I used My Mind's Eye. All of the paper is glittery! The only other thing I added was twine from The Twinery and rub-ons which I believe are Doodlebug...  You ought to give this sketch a go!  Not only are LeeAnne's kits awesome, she is very generous, too! Her inspiration page is so cute!

Christmas 2009 - Ping Pong Table

I made this layout from 2009 Christmas based on Sketch #201 from Sketch Inspiration.  Steve and I decided at the last minute to buy a ping-pong table converter for our pool table.  I had no idea how much fun we would have with it. Mitch was so excited when he realized that there was a ping-pong table downstairs! We played so much through the year 2010.  I used American Crafts that I just got from my friend Stacy as well as some Doodlebug letters that she got me earlier. Yes, she supplies my scrapbooking habit quite well.  Did you see the cute journaling spots? They are from Shabby Chic Crafts.  You can't tell very well in the picture, but the little holly leaves on the Merry Christmas circle are partially cut out so that they are raised a little bit.  I thought that was a really cute touch...  I also Helmar zap-dotted the labels for a little dimension.  That ping-pong paddle and ball sticker is from my stash. I've had it for a long time!  I've also had the eyelets for a long time.  Recently, Sketches 4 All had a thread about using eyelets, so I was inspired to use 4 of them on this layout!

White Embossed Scallop with Green Glittered Flower

Just a small note:  the white scallop was made with a Spellbinders die and is a beautiful embossed paper! The green glittered flower is cut from a Sizzix die and is Doodlebug. I pop-dotted each layer.
I made this for the Etsy Inspired Challenge to use an item from the vintage chic shop Octavia & Brown.  Here is my inspiration piece:

Blueberry Cupcake

Don't forget about my blog candy!

I made this for a Cards challenge to use berries! The big blue button is my blueberry. I thought the background paper looked like berries, too!
