Quick, Cute Christmas ornaments
I made these little ornaments for The Paper Variety's challenge to show them your ornaments and for my friend Stacy's challenge! The tree has some Ranger distress ink on it, but I thought they looked cute plain, too!
Thanks for visiting!

Christmas Trees Galore
My husband has been busy making Christmas trees on the lathe! Look for some soon in his Etsy shop! They make a great teacher or friend gift. They look great on your tree, too!

Christmas tag
I created these tags for my stamp club for our December trade. We decided to do tags this year instead of cards. I was prompted to get them going today by a Hero Arts challenge as well as the Scrapfit #55 challenge to make a Christmas tag or card as well as Really Reasonable Ribbon's Challenge #35 Christmas Theme. I was rather pleased with how these came out. On the back, I have a fun Fiskars stamp that has a " to: and from: " box in a cool shape. Naturally, when I went to photograph these, I forgot to take a photo of the back. I ran some Ranger distress ink along the edges of the cool tag I found on a fun Cricut cartridge I have. I also pop-dotted the small tree and stippled some darker ink over the stamping on it to make it stand out from the other tree. It is amazing how much time making 12 tags took me. I don't even want to admit how long it took!
On a side note: I had to end up taking a high dose (for me) of prednisone along with an antibiotic for my leg surgery--I had what was probably an infection and excess inflammation. They seem to be doing the trick, but I'm praying that I don't gain weight with the prednisone like I usually do! I'm already as big as I've ever been. I'm going to try to keep hitting the gym as much as possible to help prevent it!

Christmas Tree Card
Well, at least I'm sharing a craft...This is for Stacy's challenge over at Sketches 4 All!
I've been so busy. Steve (and a little bit me) are organizing a craft fair to benefit the Speech and Debate team. You wouldn't believe the amount of work it takes to do it! I can't tell you how many early morning phone calls came while I was sick.... Anyway, Steve has a show this weekend so I won't have any time to craft this weekend either. Tonight is the Christmas party at the monthly stamp club. I'm doing two projects to share with the other ladies for that and baking some yummy cherry/cream cheese goodies. They look so Christmasy and are YUMMY!
We have our tree up with lights--but no ornaments! And, I have about 5 boxes of decorations to put out! I'm tired even writing it! Ha Ha!
Soon, I'll be scrapbooking up a storm!!!

Christmas in March-- Case a Gallery Item: Joy by Alyssa McGrew
I created this card which is the last of the March challenges at http://www.couturecardstock.com/blog! I cased Alyssa McGrew's Joy Christmas card which was featured in the Vintage Christmas collection. When I saw her card, I was inspired to make one similar to it even though it is warm and sunny where I live today!! I used a "love" charm instead of the word Joy!
After posting this card, I see I will need to trim up the ribbon a bit before giving this card to someone!
