Card Toppers - Rick St Dennis

Hi all,
I love this set of digital images by Rick St Dennis.
I created a set of Card Toppers to use for a rainy day (sorry couldn't help myself lol)...

My favourite image for sure is the cat and mouse which I called 'side by side' and is from the Whimsical set of Umbrella Users. Here

This little cutie is also from the  Whimsical set of Umbrella Users...
I named this topper 'And let it fly away'..

This fellow riding on the turtle is just plain fun.. The little turtle I want to pick up and hold lol  I called this one 'down to the river'..

Though this digital image is called I felt a drop Here I wanted him to be out walking
and 'found himself in a strange land' trying to get the bird to land on his hand lol..
Loved colouring his highness in..

'Singing in The Rain' here and how much fun he is having doing it.. 'Upon a Shore' is where he is walking..

To Fly is what the wind is trying to make this little guy do lol. He is also from
the Whimsical set of Umbrella Users. Here

All the digital images together, you have to admit they sure are wonderful..

You can purchase the images from Rick's shop Here

Criss Cross Card - Spring/ Easter March 2019 Packet - Rick St Dennis

Hi all,
Can you believe we are in the middle of March already!! Is it just me or are the days going so fast because I'm getting older lol..
I love these images from Rick St Dennis and what better way to show you
one of my EDT projects than to create a Criss Cross card to showcase

these wonder images..

1. Cut two pieces of white cardstock at 10 inches x 5 inches and score both pieces at 5 inches.
Cut as shown from the score line to the corners..

Adhere the one piece to the other piece as shown..

Fold over the sides and burnish well..

Cover the base as shown and adhere the bottom edge of the left side to make a pocket..
1. Mat: Cut one piece of patterned paper 4 7/8 inch x 4 7/8 inch for the inside.
2. Mat: Cut 2 pieces of patterned paper 4 3/4 inch x 4 3/4 inch. Cut on the diagonal; beware of the patterns on the paper..

Finished Card

She is so cute with her little pink dress and a basket filled with easter eggs..

The card opens as shown..

How cute is this little bear with bunny ears..

I adore this image and will be using her many times in the future I imagine..

The insert out of the pocket .. And how glorious is the Easter Bunny with his waistcoat..
Check out the egg as I think he had a fall or two lol..

Choccie Bag - Spring/ Easter March 2019 Packet - Rick St Dennis

Hi all,
How is your day going..
I have another EDT project to show you for the wonderful Rick St Dennis.
I created a Chocolate Bag to hold all the yummy choccies that the Easter Bunny is going to bring me..

How adorable is this image from Rick St Dennis, cute, cute as ..
The paper is from Mintay by Karola - 7th Heaven..

Cut a piece of A4 card at 11 inches, keep the width as is..
Score 2 inches, 5 inches, 7 inches, 10 inches. Turn one turn and score 1 1/2 inches and  6 1/2 inches
Cut as shown in the photo below.

Mats:
Front - 1st mat - 2 7/8 inches x 4 7/8 inches
2nd mat - 2 3/4 inches x 4 3/4 inches
Sides - 1st mat - 1 7/8 inches x 4 7/8 inches
2nd mat - 1 3/4 inches x 4 3/4 inches
Flap depends on the punch you use.

Place double sided tape on the flap and fold to create the bag as shown.

And yes, I did punch the edge wrong but I didn't make a new one as I just love this paper..

Close the bag pushing the sides in with your fingers. While closed punch two holes for the ribbon to
go through and tie into a bow..

The finished bag with yummie choccies inside ready for Easter..

Pierrots - Rick St Dennis, She Was Wishing..

Hi all,
Well this month Rick St Dennis has created a mix of interesting images called Pierrots.
You can purchase the images HERE
And join Rick's facebook friends page HERE

I decided I would challenge myself with these images to create assorted cards using the same paper and minimal embellishments.

TeePee Fold Card

Cut three pieces of white cardstock at 10 cm x 10 cm, emboss them and score them all diagonal.
Cut two pieces of blue cardstock at 9 1/2 cm x 9 1/2 cm, stamp them with Distress ink -Vintage Photo and cut them on the diagonal. Adhere as shown..

Place two of the squares together as shown and place a piece of double sided tape down the middle..

Adhere the third square as shown in the photo..
Cut one piece of blue cardstock at 3 1/2 cm x 3 1/2 cm, cut on the diagonal and adhere as well.

Cut two pieces of patterned paper at 9 cm x 9 cm and one piece at 3 cm x 3 cm.
Cut all of the pieces on the diagonal and adhere to the blue mats.. (Be careful of where the patterns are when cutting the patterned paper)..

Place a Velcro dot (both pieces) on the outside back of the card and close it. That way it will be matched evenly.

The card opened after it has been decorated..

The closed card..

One side of the card with this cute image and hearts..

I added a heart bunting from La La Land as I felt it needed something else..

The back of the card.. I coloured her eyes wrong and was going to throw it out but decided to keep it as I thought it gave her a sinister look lol

Just how cute is this image..

She Was Wishing of day's gone by..

The materials I used to create the four cards..

Four cards together that I created with these glorious images..

I hope I have inspired you
to create glorious things.
