Tea Box for Vellum Tea Bags - CC

 Hi all,

I made some tea bags awhile ago with the fantastic Earthy Delights vellum from Couture Creations and I thought why not a tea box to put them in.. My sister in law gave me a box of my favourite tea bags I am straight away thanks Lynne I appreciate the box and promptly took the tea bags out of it..Yep she was confused for sure hehe.

I pulled it apart gently and measured around it so I could make more if I wanted so this became my template. Using the wonderful papers from the collection I cut out the right and left separately and adhered them together for a stronger join.

Inking around it all gave it an aged look which I really loved. I placed some cardstock that matches the collection for extra sturdiness and it worked a treat.

How brilliant does this look! I used minimal decorations and I think the tea box is usable if I wanted it.

I placed a epherma on top of the box and front and used a piece of trim to keep it shut. So happy with how it turned out..

What Do You See Layout - CC

 Hi all, 

Here we are again and this time I am doing a layout using the wonderful Earthy Delights Collection from Couture Creations.. I love taking photos of strange stuff (my hubby calls it that lol) and I felt his paper called to this photo. It is from a tree trunk that I saw while travelling in our great part of the world Australia. What do you see in this? I see a Parrot other see a fish or bird or duck but for me it was instant with the parrot.

Did you know that the gorgeous (I love it) vellum paper matches the 12 x 12 papers!! Well I did not until I accidently put the vellum on the same piece of patterned paper and voila this page was born. I tilted it just a fraction as I like the 3D effect it gave me.  

Using the stencil with the collection I blended ink then using the brilliant foiling pen and gold foil (both available from Couture Creations) I drew through the stencil leaving gold bits. This became my background for the picture. I die cut the letters with the top layer using scraps from the Earthy Delights Collection.

Just love the vellum and its a great quality as well.

 Hi all,

Today I have a box I made using Twin Tip Markers and the gorgeous Vintage Blooms Set created by Couture Creations and Kit and Chowder.

I stamped lots of the stamps on the blending card and cut out the box shape using a die. Adhere the box together with the CO726325 Quick Dry Adhesive. 

I then fussy cut a section of the scrap card to place on the front of the acetate in the centre of the box and made a flower to adhere to that. A few bling and glitter and voila the box is done ready for some special trinkets.

Mystery ATC Challenge - PPCC

 Hi all,

Whew!! Made it, here is my ATC for the August mystery challenge over on the 

Paper Possibilities Crazy Crafters facebook group. 

If you would like to join in the fun, meet great people and learn new things then pop over and join.. 

I stamped this little darlin AALL & Create #297 on watercolour paper using Prize Ribbon and Speckled Egg as the main colours.. All & Create stencil #105 and Dylusions Stencil it Too - DYS68778 was used on the base card with Black Soot distress around the edges..

Craft Room Down Under Challenge - Travel Around the World - August

Hi all,

I joined in this month's ATC & ATC Coin challenges which were Travel Around the World 

for CRDU (Craft Room Down Under).

I loved this piece of Graphic 45 paper Life's a Journey and thought it would be perfect for this challenge.

I also used Distress inks - Fossilized Amber ad Speckled Egg. Also Cajun Craze from Stampin Up for the borders was perfect for the paper.

Brought It & Never Used It Challenge - CRDU - August

 Hi all,

How are we all doin in these uncertain times! I'm ok not going anywhere and spending time in my craft room doing what I love doing, Creating..

I am in a a group called Craft Room Down Under (CRDU) on face book and it is a wonderful group. 

We have challenges each month and swap within the group. I have created two cards for this challenge 

which is 'Brought It, Never Used It'. And believe me I have a lot of stuff like that lol.

The first card is basically a one layer card with the word 'explore' being die cut four times to stand out from the background.

I have used the Botanical 662716 3D Texture Fades by Tim Holtz and the #3 Shadow Script 662686 also by Tim Holtz that I had brought and never used both of these.. I embossed the black piece of cardstock and using my finger rubbed over the raised image with Art Alchemy Metallique Wax -Rich Copper.  

The second card or tag I should say I really like as it is so different to what I normally do..

Pretty bird and the background was created using the Distress Ink and Photo Paper technique.

I have used the Botanical 662716 3D Texture Fades by Tim Holtz and the #3 Shadow Script 662686 also by Tim Holtz and the Feathered Friends 664433 by Tim Holtz and Cut OUt Leaves 664431 Tim Holtz  all I had brought and never used. 

I also added Art Alchemy Metallique Wax -Rich Copper and 

a New Art Alchemy Metallique Wax - Burgundy on the base tag.

Mushroom Gnome House - My Besties

 Hi all,

I have joined My Besties as a Design Team Member for 2021.

I have missed colouring in these glorious images and how much fun they are.. 

Loving the new collections from Sherri and these gnome houses are brilliant.

I have created a shadow box card with the brilliant image which I coloured in with Copic Markers. 

Cut two pieces of white cardstock 6 1/4 inches x 5 1/2 inches. Score @ 1/2 inch & 1 inch both ends on the 6 1/4 inch side.. Burnish scored lines.

Adhere the mats on before cutting out aperture.. 

Die cut a frame to place around the aperture.
