Dangle Stamped Shrink Art - Couture Creations

 Hi all,

I adore the colours from the Twin Tip Alcohol Ink set and combined with the stamps from the You Go Girl & Homely Florals Collection, this month wowed me this project.

How vibrant are these colours.

Stamped, coloured and fussy cut on the Shrink Art Plastic.

After the heat has been applied, the pieces shrink to 1/4 of their original size. The colour intensifies as well so darker colours will appear really dark. I placed the hole before shrinking.
Love the ruler from the Art Work Station as it is flexible and has the 0 in the middle for even marking on every project..

They look fantastic against natural light.

The finished dangles ready to hang on something, perhaps a journal or a book..

Sisters Folder - CC

 Hi all,

Today I'm on the Couture Creations blog and I would love to show you my folder I created for the sisters. They are so similar but have their own personality with both of them loving the colour purple.

The folder measures 7 inches x 5 inches, score at 3 3/8 inches and 3 5/8 inches.

The mats measure 3 1/4 inches x 4 7/8 inches.

I created a background from assorted inks, splashes some water for a little interest and stamped around the pages with Layered Florals stamp set.. Just love this set.

I created a panel for the front and again applied assorted inks and stamped the Layered Florals around the edges. I die cut a Floral Corner and placed on the bottom with gold bling.

The banner was stamped from the Sitting Pretty stamp set and fussy cut. The quote is from the Sentiments stamp set which is a gorgeous set. (can you see the Sitting Pretty girl in front of the card ready for another project).

The twin sisters coloured in with the brilliant Twin Tip Alcohol Markers (love these). I think I used about 35 - 40 different colours in the set of 108 with these images and I loved every one of them.        Be warned they are rich and vibrant colours so addiction is possible..

Sister One is so sweet and loves purple and green spots, she loves to wear her purplish sunglasses with her clothing and did you notice her ring and earring matches (I think she made these herself).

Sister Two also love purple but she combines that with blue. Adore her eye make-up, Did you notice her necklace? I think the sisters make jewellery together. She is so pretty.

The folder which stand open or closed. (I wonder when the little sister is going to make an appearance with her own project, she is sitting Pretty waiting mmm)

I used the Twin Tip Alcohol Ink Markers to colour all stamped images and it blew me away at how easy they were to use.. Blended beautifully, no bleeding and colours complimented each other wonderfully.

I hope I have inspired you

to create glorious things

Girls Feathered Layout - CC

 Hi all,

How are we all heading into the last quarte of the year!!

I created a layout using the GO Girl Collection for my granddaughters. Lots of fussy cut flowers and feathers really help this page come together.

Pop over to have a closer look on YouTube..

I love using Alcohol Inks.

This was so fun to do with chipboard feathers and the alcohol inks.

I thought I would give this a try and yep it worked so well which meant the string matched the papers.

You really cannot see this under the photo and flowers but you catch a glimpse when you move the page around.

Fussy cut flowers and die cut daisies and dragonflies..

Loving the Alcohol Inks on this paper and can you see the splatter happening.

Adore how these feathers came together with the Alcohol Inks and having the gold on top is perfection.. Tiny Gold Pearls along the spine just gives it a finish. mmm I wonder what else I can do with Alcohol Inks ???

Two dragonflies adhered together on the body allows the wings to have a 3D effect..

The finished page which I love...

I hope I have inspired you

to create glorious things

SUN & Ocean Layout - Couture Creations

 Hi all,

Wow what a month of gorgeous creations on the Couture Creations blog..

I have about 300 new photos so I knew the paper I was going to use for these two photos

was definitely the Seaside Collection.  I also love the Clear Casting Resin so included heaps

of these in the layout using the Alcohol Inks to colour them.

Using moulds and the Clear Casting Resin I made a sand castle, some shells, stars and of course a huge sun which I then coloured in with Alcohol Inks. Have you seen these little Blending Tips? wow brilliant to use.

I fussy cut papers 2 along the bottom and using the 3D foam dots placed it on the bottom of papers 5. I sewed around the edges and using resin and ephemera pieces to build up some layers..

The huge resin sun coloured with the alcohol inks..

Fussy cutting the lighthouse with a little ink around the top looks great combined with the word Ocean and a resin star..

I used three quotes from the Ephemera set with two sea gulls flying around the page.

The finished layout.

I hope I have inspired you

to create glorious things
