Fun and Mental Changes

Well, as many of you know, I won a FREE Gypsy. I was super excited. A couple of days before my name was drawn, I joined the Cricut.com message board to try and gather all the info I could on the use of this wonderful new machine that was to be used with the Cricut. You see, I had heard about the Gypsy, the contest I entered and about the HSN launch of this new product from all the blogs of Provo Craft's (the makers of the Cricut and the Gypsy) devoted and loyal fans screaming about this anticipated product. September 23rd (the night of the launch) there were MANY video streams of fans and followers recording themselves WAITING for the product to air at 12:01 a.m. on the 24th. Women were getting together at each other's houses for all night parties, and joining online chats and message boards... it was seriously crazy to me, but the excitement was contagious and I caught the "bug" days before when I entered the contest to win the Gypsy. Well, the Gypsy debut on HSN this morning was WONDERFUL! But I wasn't as surprised as I thought I would be because I've been dreaming about the Gypsy for the past week. The ladies over at Cutting Above REALLY did a great job previewing the Gypsy and showing the creative features of it... so good in fact that it haunts me! hahahahaha! I'm just impressed with how they have presented the Gypsy and the way they really facilitated their blog's launch. I could use some of that mojo! But I will say this... the debut really inspired some GREAT cricut creations and today's featured layout is no exception. I have been talking about my love of Halloween and the excitement this year surrounding my Halloween costume. I bought this costume a few sizes smaller than what I wore three years ago and I'm finally wearing it this year. I'm BEYOND...

Wow!!! Did you see that debut!?! While it went super quick lasting only about half an hour, that half an hour was PACKED. And Ginger was HILARIOUS! She was so excited, her voice went up an octave a couple of times. But of course she is excited... that Gypsy is AMAZING!!! She said that she just got hers two weeks ago. How cool would that be to be one of the people who just gets to play with this stuff for a living? Watching Ginger's excitement tonight made me a little envious of the people who get paid to have this kind of fun! How cool would that be???? And that Gypsy rocked! Although I knew it would! I LOVE the fact that, now with the Gypsy, your page designs are mobile. Since I usually get inspired AWAY from my craft closet, it will be so nice to be able to pull the Gypsy out when the mood strikes. And the option to do a keyword search for images makes this little hand held catalog worth it's weight in gold! The ability to take your projects to crops means that EVERYONE saves...
