A Fairy Happy Birthday - GDT Card for Crealies

Hello.

I've been asked to be a Guest DT for Crealies by Annelies, owner of Crealies...woo-hoo.
Crealies has just released some new Create-A-Card and Crea-Nest-Lies dies--check them out HERE-- and I'll be showcasing a few of them on my GDT cards.

Here's the first GDT card that I came up with.

When it's folded, the card measures 3½" x 5¼" or 9.0cm x 13.5cm, so it will fit into a medium-size envelope--you just need to worry about the thickness of your card...hee hee.

When you unfold the card, you can then see its multi-fold feature.

Fully spread out, the length of the card is 10 5/8" or 27cm.

This adorable little fairy being featured is from Mo's Digital Pencil designed by Mo Manning,

and it is only one of the fairies from a set called 3 Baby Fairies.  I have coloured the image with markers and a few coloured pencils to help with the shading.  I've added glitter to the wings.

As mentioned before, I am showcasing some Crealies dies and here are the list of dies I have used:

- Crealies Create-A-Card No. 7
- Crealies Crea-Nest-Lies XXL No. 15
- Crealies Set of 3 Flowers No. 4
- Crealies Creative Shapes No. 16 (leaves)
- Crealies Creative Border No. 17

Check out the rest of Crealies dies at the Crealies on-line store, HERE.

And you may also want to check out the Crealies Blog, HERE.

Challenges I am entering with this card:

Halloween - Sweet Stamping Pixies September Challenge

Hello.

It's time for a new challenge at Sweet Stamping Pixies.  Our theme for the September challenge is Halloween.  Here's my DT card...

The flower was an eleventh hour decision, because the area there looked so bare.  Should have put a more Halloween-themed embellishment but I didn't have anything else.  Probably should have made another spider...LOL.

This adorable image is one of Mo Manning's from Mo's Digital Pencil called Fall Fairy Jesen.  I've coloured it with markers and added glitter to the wings.

I hope you will come and play with us in our challenge.  The rules have been relaxed and now you are allowed to use fairy like images like e.g. Magnolia, hAnglar & sTanglar, TFG, etc. without wings!  You can find more details of the challenge and the prize at the Sweet Stamping Pixies challenge blog HERE.  Also have a look at the fabulous cards of my DT teammates for more inspirations.

As for myself...LOL, challenges I am entering with this card:

Sweet Wishes - Sweet Stamping Pixies April Challenge

Hello! Happy Monday!

It's the 2nd Monday of the month so it's time for a new challenge at the Sweet Stamping Pixies Challenge.  This is my DT card for the April challenge.

The theme for this month is KRAFT--use kraft on your card.  LOL...the theme actually started out being kraft & white and your fave colour, so I've added my favorite blue to the kraft and white.  But you can use any colour(s) you want as long as you have kraft on your card/project.

This is a Mo Manning's digi image that I've used called Birthday Fairy Lee.  She's available from Mo's Digital Pencil Shop.
I've used my Letraset Promarkers and Tria markers to colour the image.  I've also added glitter to the fairy's wings and the icing on the cupcake.

I hope you can join us in our challenge.  For more inspirations, have a look at the fabulous cards that my DT buddies have created at the Challenge Blog HERE.  We are being sponsored this month by Diana from Magnolia-licious.  The prize for this challenge is Tilda's Heartflowers--have a look, it's gorgeous!

As for me, I am entering this card into the following challenges:
Bronte and Bella's (Mo's Digital Pencil) Challenge #129 - Anything Goes with a Mo Image

Tilda and Ginger

Hello everyone. And a happy Wednesday!

Woohoo!!!! I've been given the opportunity to be a Guest DT at Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog, for a couple of weeks. Thank you so much ladies. This is by Guest DT card for their Nov. 18/09 challenge. The theme is... Animal Antics.

The image I used here is Magnolia's Tilda with Cat. The cat's name is Ginger, so I coloured her thus appropriately (or did I use that colour first and then call her Ginger?...LOL).

I couldn't think of what embelishment to put at first--I really didn't want to use flowers on this card. I didn't have anything in my stash that's related to a cat. So I had to make something and I hit upon this ball of wool idea. I just punched a circle out of thick cardstock, wrapped some wool/yarn around it and glued it in place.

To decorate the inside of my card, I found the perfect image. This is one of Mo's Digital Stamps.
Aww, doesn't Mo Manning just create such adorable images?

That's it. Thanks for visiting my blog. Would very much appreciate a comment if you have the time.

And don't forget to visit Simon Says Challenge and check out the fabulous creations from their DT members. You may also want to enter their challenge--a $25 Simon Says credit voucher may be yours!
Have a wonderful day!

DP's: Chatterbox Scrapbook Walls Collection Cabana Dots, Cabana Stripes, Sunny Pinwheels.
Misc.: Reflections pearls, Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pad tea dye.
Tools: EK Success paw print punch, EK Success border punch wave with dots.

Mary Tapping

Hello everyone. I hope you're having a wonderful weekend.

Well, it has been a very non-productive week for me during these past weekdays. Too busy at the office. Too much work, too little time. Have been working late everyday. Getting home too late and too tired and just had time to get some sleep and head back out to work the next day. Yeah, that's why I've been MIA. Okay, that's enough moaning and groaning from me. LOL.

I started working on this yesterday and finally put the finishing touches on the card this morning. This is my very first card ever with a digital-stamp image. I've been seeing Mo Manning's images on cards all over the place and I just love them. I now have several of her wonderful images, but decided to try my hand first on colouring this 'Mary Tapping'. Mo's images can be obtained at her blog, Mo's Digital Pencil too!

I chose this Mary Tapping image as I needed a girl image for the challenge at Passion for Promarkers. The theme for their challenge 15 is girly and glittery.

For this card I have used the sketch from Friday Sketchers Challenge blog, that was provided by Heidi for their challenge 68.

At the A Spoon Full of Sugar challenge blog, the theme for their challenge 67 is distressing.

Since this was my first digital image, I thought I'd started small and practiced colouring on a smaller version of Mary Tapping before moving to a larger image. It didn't turned out too bad I thought, so I used that image for the inside of my card.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Stamps: Great Impressions Beautiful and Special Day, Inkadinkado Have a Great Birthday.
DP's: Chatterbox Scrapbook Walls Canopy Floral and Poolhouse Stripe.
Misc.: Kaiser Craft Pearls
