Merry Christmas Diamond-Fold Card

Hello.

I just wanted to add another card to this year's growing-way-to-slow Christmas card collection, so I've made a diamond-fold card which is being put on display here...

or you can display it this way...

I consider this a mini card because when it's folded up, it's a 4-inch square card.

If you're interested in making this type of card, you can find the template HERE.

And as more often than not, the colouring of the image was done with my Letraset markers--Promarkers and Pantone Trias.

Here's a close-up of the cute Tilda being featured...

Diamond Fold Card

Hello!

Woo-hooo...I've made a diamond-fold card--my first!!!  This card style was on my to-do list, so now I can put a check mark beside it...LOL.

I haven't made this card for any occasion so I didn't put any sentiment on it.  I just wanted to know how it works. I watched the first half of this video tutorial on how to make the folds and then ignore the rest and decorated it my own way...LOL.

I consider this more of a mini card rather than a full size one, because when the card is all folded up, it becomes a 4-inch square card--you need a smaller box envelope to mail it out.

This adorable image is of Celebration 1 Tilda from Magnolia's Sweet Crazy Love Collection 2012.  She is coloured with markers.  I used the Old Swedish Lace Border doohickey die to border by circle panel.  Both  image and die are available from Magnolia-licious on-line store.

Not really sure what the proper way is to display this card, so I'm trying different ways here...
