Hello!  It's less than four weeks before Christmas, people!  Yikes...

I'm sure a lot of gift cards are going to be handed out this holiday season, so I've created a gift card holder that can be used for this purpose.  I made it using the criss-cross card as its base.

This card/gift card holder is smaller than my normal 6" x 6" card--it is only 4.5" x 4.5".

The stamps for these two cute Tildas are available from Magnolia-licious, Diana's on-line store, where she carries a large selection of both full-size and mini Magnolia stamps.  And if you don't see the particular one you are looking for, ask Diana if she can bring it in for you.  Check out also the stamps from Wee Stamps, Wild Rose Studios, Penny Black and Candibeans, along with cutting dies from various companies and other crafting supplies.

Hello.

The formerly known 'Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog' is now Magnolia-licious and Wee Stamps Challenge Blog to reflect the two types of stamps that are now available at Magnolia-licious on-line store.  Woo-hoo...Wee Stamps are my second favorite stamps next to Magnolia!  For our first challenge the theme is...BIRTHDAY.

For my DT card, I have created this criss-cross card...

The criss-cross panels form a pocket that you can insert something into.  I have made this pullout tab on which I have created a blank space to write a personal message on.

On my card, I am featuring a couple of images from the new Magnolia's With Love Collection 2013.
This cute image is of Tilda With Big Cup of Ice Cream...

and equally adorable is this Up Up and Away--I think this one may be my favorite image from this collection.

These 2 stamps and a vast selection of other Magnolia stamps--both full-size and mini--are available at Magnolia-licious, Diana on-line store.  If you don't see the particular one you are looking for in the store, contact Diana and ask her if she can bring it in for you.  And now available at Magnolia-licious are those wonderful Wee Stamps by Sylvia Zet

Love is the Thread...- Magnolia-licious August Colour Challenge

Hello.

Just one day after yesterday...LOL and it's the 2nd Tuesday in August, so this time it's a new colour challenge at the Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog.  I love criss cross cards, so I made another one for the challenge.

For this month, the very talented Jane is our hostess and for the challenge she has chosen the colours pink, aqua/blue and white/cream.

I hope you will play along with us in our challenge.  Have a look and see at the fabulous cards of my DT teammates for more inspirations, HERE.  As usual there is a $25 Gift Certificate from Magnolia-licious for one lucky winner chosen by random draw.

This is Tilda Makes a Blueberry Blanket (although it's really a raspberry blanket...LOL). I did a bit of masking and had Tilda sat on another image of Swedish Chair.

For the pocket that was formed by the criss-crossed sections of the card, I've made a pull-out tab to write a personal message on.

This image is of Tailor Tilda, which I thought was the perfect match for the one above.   The colouring of the images were done using alcohol-ink-based markers (list is below).

All of the 3 Magnolia stamps I used for this card are available from Magnolia-licious on-line store. Diana has a wonderful selection of both full-size and mini-size stamps.  Check out also her selections of dies--from Memory Box, PoppyStamps, Magnolia, Cheery Lynn and Marianne Design--and other crafting supplies. Beside the discounted prices, you also earn store credits for future purchases.

I love my dies!!!  I adore this Memory Box one they called Chloe Stem--I used 3 diecuts to make the white bloom at the top more 3-dimensional.  The wings of the dragonfly (using another Memory Box die) are from white translucent vellum.  The pink flower was made using Crealis Creative Flower No.2 dies.  I used the Spellbinder Rose Creation dies for the aqua flower.

Challenges for this card:
Lovely hAnglar or Sweet Magnolia Challenge #49 - Flowers
Crafty Catz Weekly Challenge #145 - Anything Goes
Simply Create Too Challenge #19 - Anything Goes
Dream Valley Challenge 38 - Die Cuts and punches

Thanks so much for stopping by.  I really do appreciate your visit. I look forward to reading your comments.  Have a fabulous week.

A Magical Birthday Criss Cross Card

Hello.

I finally have a card to show you.  Here's a criss cross card I've made.

I love this Tilda.  I bought her because my nieces are Harry Potter fans (me too...LOL), so I thought I would use her when I have to make a card for them--I thought they would like that.  So...she is called Wizard Tilda.

This image is part of Magnolia's Princes & Princesses Collection 2012.  The stamp can be purchased from Magnolia-licious, Diana's on-line store.  I've colored her with my Letraset Promarkers and Tria markers and used a few coloured pencils to add shadings.

Inside the pocket of the criss cross card, I have made a card insert.  Oh yuk...the flowers look a bit orange in the pictures.  But in real life they really aren't--more like deep yellow to match the DP of the card insert.

Full view of the card insert.

This is Tilda Catching Stars from the same collection, also available from Magnolia-licious.  I've added glitter    glue to the stars and Tilda's crown.

I am entering the following challenges with this card:
