Steve Miller Band es una banda de rock estadounidense formada en 1966 en San Francisco, California. 

La banda está dirigida por Steve Miller en la guitarra y la voz principal. Es más conocido hoy en día por una serie de (principalmente) a mediados de los años setenta hit singles que son himnos de la radio de rock clásico, así como varios álbumes anteriores de rock ácido. Miller dejó su primera banda para mudarse a San Francisco y formar la banda de Steve Miller Blues. Poco después de que Harvey Kornspan negociara el contrato histórico de la banda con Capitol Records en 1967, la banda acortó su nombre a Steve Miller Band. En febrero de 1968, la banda grabó su álbum debut, Children of the Future. Pasó a producir los álbumes Sailor, Brave New World, Your Saving Grace, Número 5, Rock Love y mucho más. Los Greatest Hits de la banda 1974-78, lanzados en 1978, vendieron más de 13 millones de copias. La banda continuó produciendo más álbumes y en 2014 viajó con la banda de rock Journey. En 2016, Steve Miller fue presentado como artista en solitario en el Salón de la Fama del Rock and Roll.
