SNACK Benefit Concert 1975 (part1)

Vamos con otro macro concierto aunque este menos conocido, se trata de SNACK. Lo dividiremos en cinco partes, ahí va la primera.
En 1975 , el legendario promotor Bill Graham , conocido por sus espectáculos en lugares como Winterland y Fillmore , emprendió su primer concierto a gran escala en un estadio al aire libre. El 23 de marzo de 1975, hace 39 años, hoy en día , se presentó el concierto benéfico SNACK en el Kezar Stadium en San Francisco. SNACK era un acrónimo de los estudiantes ya que en ese momento, los recortes presupuestarios habian eliminado casi por completo todas las subvenciones después de las actividades escolares en el sistema público de San Francisco. Graham  reclutó a un gran número de leyendas del rock para que lo ayudara. Anunciado como Jerry Garcia and Friends , The Grateful Dead abrió el show , uno de los 4 conciertos que tocaron ese año. Tower Of Power , Santana, The Doobie Brothers , Jefferson Starship y Joan Baez también estuvieron en el escenario. El show cerro con Neil Young y Bob Dylan , apoyado por los miembros de The Band. No estoy seguro si Neil estaba sentado con Bob y The Band, o al revés , pero de cualquier manera , esta retransmisión FM del show es especial coleccionistas.
