For all the researching I did on this, I could not find an exact date.I 'm pretty sure it was sometime during late August or September 79. On a side note, there was an earlier Climax show from Edgbaston Stadium in Birmingham, filmed for the BBC 'Goes to College' on Nov 1, 1978. That has a completely different set list.During this Polytechnic show, they mention a previous show where they opened for Lynyrd Skynyrd at the Odeon in Birmingham and they wrote the song 'Champagne and Rock and Roll' about them.
