Magic Slim & The Teardrops - last recording
Hot August Blues & Roots Music Festival
Cockeysville, Maryland, August 18, 2012
AUD A-, @320
From the Dave Sez archive:
Magic Slim, who died on February 21, 2013, occupied a similar position in American music to Dr. Feelgood in the UK - a blues band coming up during the punk era, although Slim's classic Chicago blues differed from the Feelgood's pub rhythm & blues. I was lucky enough to hear his first album back in 1977, and have been hooked ever since. This is the last recording of Magic Slim I know of, recorded just after his 75th birthday and six months before his death.

Roy Buchanan - Last Recording
(AUD A-, 25 MB @ 92 kbps, but excellent sound)
From the Dave Sez archive:
A real rarity: Roy's second to last gig, at the Club Soda in Montreal, July-August 1988. His last show was on August 7, 1988 in Guilford [sic] CT, which was not recorded; he died in a police cell in the Fairfax County VA lock-up on August 14.
Thanks to hootad binkytime via slikstricks for this excellent recording. Whilst bottom bit rate, great sound, so all credit to the taper! Full CD covers and text included.
