BeautyLine Deluxe - Nr.2

I looked at my calendar this morning and it hit me - it's only 4 days to Christmas, and I'm not feeling it at all! So I had to at least put something christmasy on my nails. I remembered a gold foil polish I bought last week, dug it up and put it on. I was shocked, it's THE perfect gold foil! It's a cheapass polish from KIK (a textile discount store), but it's great! It's a one coater, and it's not all gold, it's got tiny silver and copper stuff in it too, just to liven it up. I really love it! In the pics it's without top coat (because I ran out of SV:( ).

See the macro shot? Amazing!

China Glaze - Wagon Trail

Loooooooove! Two coats, crappy pics. This is an old set of pics, taken at night under my desk lamp. I just had to post them anyway, I remembered how much I love this polish. It's a dark olive base with gold shimmer. Love, again. The tip wear is after a couple of days wear, so yay for that too. And konading is done with Essence Stampy polish in white.

L.A. Girl Rock Star - Electric Guitar

So, my camera is still not working, I'm waiting for my scolarship to came to get it fixed. Luckily, I have quite some old mani pics on my external disc, but it was lost... And today, I found it, so you can expect posts from me again:)

I can't remember when I wore this, I just remember I was totally unhappy with it. It took three coats, but I don't like the consistency, it was weird somehow.
Another thing is the colour, I find it very unflattering with my skin tone. And the glittery stuff that's going on is sort of like vomit:( I'm very sorry about this polish, because on other blogger's swatches it looks great. Ah well, you can't have everything I guess:)

Essence - Gold Rush

I don't think I've ever written about my mom. She's really into nail polish too, but never admits it. She comes into my living room and takes a long time to pick a polish from my collection, and then acts like a little child when painting:) And usually she picks up polishes "for me" and then I store them in my collection and she uses them:) Because "she's not really that into polishing her nails".... :)

This is one of those polishes, of course. Three coats, a classic silvery gold colour.

Catrice Nougat praline

I have another bunch of Catrice polishes from the 60 seconds Nail couture line. It's just my luck that they've discontinued the line when I fell in love with it... But anyway, my mini haul was sent to my by the super-nice Mamy of Parokeets.

Today I'm wearing Nougat Praline. It's one of those polishes that are subtle, but in a way also great. A lovely nougaty-pinky colour with teeny tiny golden shimmer. I also love the application. Two coats, great consistency, even greater brush. Love it, and I totally recommend you grab any polish from this line if you have the luck to see them somwhere, because I haven't found a single one that dissapointed me so far.

Again, no sunny pics, but I managed to get one sort of ok pic in natural light:

And macro under artificial light:

Joy 16

I wrote about Joy polishes before. But recently, as I was going through their basket, I found some new, duochrome polishes. This is one of them - softly pink with golden reflections. The application was good, the thickness just right. They obviously changed the formula a bit, and also added some new colours. I strongly recommend it! I took the pictures a day and a half after application, so you can see the first sighns of wear:(
