D'Arcy's Diaries Tag

I have had a little play with D'Arcy today, and ended up making a HUGE tag! I have really tried with some different techniques. I cut both the tags on my Silhouette and then the cream one I cut in half and embossed with 2 different folders, now the bottom one I did try to add distress ink too - I need to play with that idea more though! The rose was cut on my silhouette too and I have added a leaf and buttons and Ribbon as well as punched butterflies. I have used D'Arcys Diaries_064 Flower Girl and I have coloured her with Promarkers.

Thanks for stopping my and taking a look :0)

A little play time with D'Arcy

I'm not sure if you've seen the latest Complete Cardmaking with your PC Magazine? They have D'Arcys Diaries images and papers on the CD, so today I thought I'd have a little play and here's my card

Once again I have coloured her with Promarkers and given her bright red hair this time - I love doing her with different coloured hair :0) All the paper are from my scrapbox and the doily was part of my Birthday Pressie from my Mum. The sentiment was from Hobbycraft and I picked it up in the sale for £1!

Here's the magazine if you've missed it

You could use it to enter our challenge we currently have running over at D'Arcy's Diaries which is

why don't you join in the fun  HERE

D'Arcys Diaries - Who's your Favourite!

We have been allowed to play with our favourite D'Arcy's this week again (aren't we lucky!)

So today I've chosen the beautiful Gabriella who is Jill on our Design Teams Daughter. I really love this image and I'm really pleased how this card has turned out. I used a card blank to create a stepper card. I have used Co-Ordinations paper which I have embossed and sanded back to make the frame that Gabriella is on, I've then used a odd bit of scrapbook paper to cut the flowers out, and added a gem to the centre of them. The bottom is just ribbon that I have wrapped around the bottom and its finished out with a sentiment.

Why not pop over to the D'Arcy Blog and see which stamps the rest of the DT have used.

D'Arcys Diaries - New Challenge

Where has the last 2 weeks gone! We had some amazing entries into last times challenge over at D'Arcy's Diaries and I'm sure we're going to have some more amazing creations this time too!
This times challenge is to use Bunting/Pendents, either on your card or to make it itself. Thats the option I've gone for this time - ummm you maybe fed up of seeing them on my blog, but I had a little play as I wasn't to sure what to do with Bunting but I now have 6 ready to hang up in my house! Here's the next 2.

This one is using the pre-coloured Bubbles. The papers are a freebie with a magazine, I've also added bunting which has been put through my embossing machine. I've just added a little ribbon too and some little pearls to finish it off.

Here's my next one with is using Ponder a Moment, which was the 1st D'Arcy I coloured up! I have teamed her with papers from The Cambridge Collection from Kanban. I have added roses that I cut on my Silhouette, the swirl was also cut on it. I have just added a few gems to give it a sparkle. D'Arcy has been coloured with pencils.

Why not pop over to D'Arcy's Blog and see what the rest of the Team have made to inspire you :0)

Ok who stole last week! I can't believe where its gone too can you?
Anyway ts Thursday and we are half way through this times challenge over at D'Arcy's Diaries - which is Buttons and Bows. I had such fun playing with the bunting theme last week I have decieded to have another go this week, then I got a little carried away lol!

So for this one I used Strawberry Fun and added a doiley and a few pearls as well as the ribbon and buttons, I can't remember where I got the paper from but I think it looks very spring like - don't you?

Next is this one -

She's called "Listening to my tunes" and like the others has been coloured in with pencil, the flowers and music notes are cut on my Silhouette. I have added buttons and ribbon from my stash as was the paper too.

Last but by no means least is

I've kind of ended up with a bit of a grungy look on this one! The papers are from Do Crafts Wellington collection. The stamped images are from Papermania  - Urban Collection, the ribbon and buttons are from Papermania too. This image is called "Deep in Thought" I so love him and think he can be used in so many different ways!
