Annual Dinner 2010

We had our agony meeting on Saturday and a blissful annual dinner on the next day. I was one of the comittee of the Year End Annual Dinner. I was incharge to register those who came:)

I came around 6:45pm and pulled myself on the chair and thinking what to do next.

~Sitting at the registration table~
They were already a few colleague's of mine there:)
Nothing was to be done as there were no incoming people whom i knew entering the entrance. So, i head up to the 'taking picture zone' on a small stage with a few friends:)
The door gift came a bit late as the person in charge was busy preparing so many things in the earlier hours. Thumbs up to them!

Our theme for this year is "Smart and Casual".

Last year i pulled up a Leopord print theme and this year i came out the SAME THEME hahahhaha. I dunt understand why i love leopord print so much.

~Annual Luncheon 2009~

~And THIS IS ME in 2010~

I'm wondering what to wear next year:)

~Kak Masnah & I~
-We were the Early arrivals-

~Lisa & I~
We were having our annual dinner on the same date as SMK Kuhara. And i bumped into Lisa and managed to get a quick shot with her. Theirs were so grand. Their theme were ethnic and i guess she was trying to be one of those Arabic women in the middle east hehehhehe:)
And she amazingly pulled herself to be ONE:p
They even have a beautiful flowery entrance which can be seen just right behind us:)
Isn't she beauooo-tiful?? I would say -YES!

~Kak Sugiarti, me & Kak Masnah~
(Colleagues of mine)
And here are my table members:

On that night, we had to randomly choose a small square in size paper which is printed with numbers on it and therefore keep it safely as it will be useful during the lucky draw session. Our lucky draw event was quite fair. Whereby, all of us will get a gift. The only thing is that each gifts varies from each other. So, it'll depend on which lucky number we took. I got number 39 and i got a clock!
We also had 'changing gift' session! I gave my present to my own KP hehehhehe.
I hope she liked it.
And Noraida gave me hers....:)

*******************************

Why am i holding a fork while opening the present? Well, ladies and gentlemen! I have no idea what Noraida has given to me as she has taped the whole box. And i had difficulties to open it. I wished to use my teeth as my scissors which helps me to define my appearance on that night hahahahaha.. But, my table members said it was ridiculous for a lovely leopord to show her true nature in the public. ~laughing~

And so i did as politely and wisdom-like to spontaneously grab the fork on the table and open the box. Cikgu Faizal just couldn't stop looking at how seriously i was to use the FORK as my tool. ~giggle~
Waaaaah! I really need plates as to complete my kitchen-ware.
Thanks NORAIDA!

We have 2 types of door gifts which were lady's fan and this cut lil box. The lady's fan was for the ladies and obviously the male got this box. However, i got this from cikgu Ruslan:)

Thanks Lan!
We were also given a few certs as a token of a appreciation. How'd i wished our principle gives us money as a reward for our hard work last year huhuhuu..He should:) Then, at least we have the enthusiasm to work hard in the future and no mor complainings here and there:)
I pray...

School work

In the early month of January, meetings was a must-to-be-attend.

Meeting today, tommorrow, the next day after tommorow..Phew!

Time-table
We had a few teachers moving out from school and a few new teachers coming in. Time-tables were running smoothly. New teachers were told to chip in a few selected teachers and replaced their classes. Problem Temporarily solved!

*However*

It still needs to be re-arranged! And the re-arranging part isn't that easy-measy!

Kak Sadariah who was responsible of the schedule, can't get the schedule finished on time, as the re-arrangement of form 6 teachers are still hanging...therefore she was stuck in a 22 situation.

She was really coming into a war-zone with the computer. Hoped she'll break a leg!

First week

School events

I was given a christmas present from a student of mine. I was so suprised to see a beautiful silvery box in my bag. As i opened it, there, lie a beautiful pinkerish pearl necklace! Gawd! It really made my day on the first day of school.

~It was so beautiful~

Taught Form 4 and Form 6.
Students: Form 4-Were quite good.

Form 6- Man!

~Smiling~

Had these types of students who were weak!

I think drilling will be welcoming them soon.

Quite challenging!

As the saying goes .....

"Rome wasn't built in a day"

Second week

Had a big contoversy on who and who was going to be teaching form 6. I was informed to take the class last year and i gave a green light before heading off for holidays. Suddenly, when the PMR result came into a very pleasing result for all my 3 classes i was pulled back to teach PMR. I really had a grudge on the matter. However, i pulled myself being optimistic that whatever happens, teaching form 6 or not was not gonna be a gloomy year for me. I might get the kids from grade C to A hahhahaah...Like i did last year!!

Never it did popped in my mind that there were a few students who could strike a 'C' from an 'E' grade! It was an amazing break out!

Third Week

I was still teaching form 6, waiting up for the new teacher to replaced me...when another breakout about the new teacher who was asked to teach had no confidence entering the class. They passed the bucks on me! And luckyily i haven't turned down the offer of taking the classes back... I was off the deep end!So unorganized!

Fourth week

Was teaching from 4 and NOW was ordered to take SPM class.

They dropped my form 4 class.

Was really sad about it.....

~Sighing~

Gosh! Another Year of Exam classes is coming my way!!!!

I need air!!!! Yelp!!

♥Cross country 2010♥

Today was the moment of the pre-climax sports day!
We had cross country. Students were enthusiastic as well as the teachers.
I had no sun block to be applied on my skin.
I was getting darker and i really have no concern about it!
These were the moments of SMKJA students and teachers......

~Teachers and students assigned for the documentations were waiting for the top 30 winners to arrived~

~Cg Mahadir, Cg Samsuddin and our non other than the 'sporting' PK HEM Cg Ismail~

~Me with my form 5 students~
♥From my right, Nursakina & on my other left is Mayliana♥

~ My upper 6 students ~

~Students were waiting the moment to be let off~

~My colleagues who were actively joining the club basking under the sun~

~We were the trios who just can't stop taking picts before the event started~

~Listening a short brief ~

~We were arranging our runners~
Serious discussion after the cross country was over..and proud to say! We did it as a TEAMWORK!
MATAKING GO GO GO!!!!
Fyi, we have 4 'rumah sukan' which are Mataking, Sibuan, Sipadan, and Mabul...The names were all taken from the famous islands which could be found in tawau and semporna....
I hope we could at least hit the top 3 hehheeh..not much sprinters for Mataking..But we hope for it!

Bad omen

It's 12th.January.2010. It was any other usual day, however this date had brought me into a panic, imbalance feeling of guilt. Did i do anything wrong that plunged me into this bad day? This temporary glitch has dragged me into an uncomfy zone. Everything i did, caused a bad consequences of what i felt was 'bad luck'. And i faced a major double-triple trouble in just One day!

First incident before walking myself to school in the morning:-
One beautiful morning glory, i headed to school quickly as i was already late to 'thumb print'. It was raining in the wee hours and had a blackout at 5.30am. I only got up at 6am. Ugh!
I was walking notoriously furious on the damp, moist ground. Until i came near the 'koperasi' building, i stepped on the plank and suddenly without a warning i skidded off myself and flew up in the air for a second and went 'Thump' on the ground. While checking on myself whether i was hurt or not, i was checking on the students who were busying themselves walking towards the school building = no one saw me! Or did they??? Oh, Who cares, after all! Well, nobody seems to even noticed i was there! Suddenly i saw a big scratch from the momentum of falling down where me leg was grazed on the cement of the big ditch. Aww, man that was really an x-treme performance. It was an excruciating experience! I got up, found my skirt was already stained with dirt; without no choice i had to run back to my house and get changed.
While changing, i called up my principle and told him what happened. I ended up not entering my first period class just because of my carelessness and that damn fool old plank! Arrgh!
This is what i had for doing an x-treme unplanned performance...:)

~Before~

~After 5 days enduring the shitless pain, i forced myself to meet the doctor and was given antibiotics....I hate medicine!

~After 2 weeks~

It's drying up...and i had to endure the shit pain!

In the afternoon, i ramped a castle of huge and big stones. Man! it tored up my car's skirting...huhuhuu.This means more money! Gosh!

Went to the workshop and got it repaired......

What a day!!!!!! I hope this 'bad omen' will turn itself up to the high court and be responsible for doing this to me! I want my happy life back huhuhuhu.......

February can you please give me a chance to be happy????

No bad omen please, i beg you....

Crystals of chandeliers...

Today's the day of our annual lucheon. I came with the 'Simba' style.

I had no choice but to BRING OUT my ancestors tribe.

Lol *Laughing + roaring*...

Our semi-formal luncheon was held in Promenade Hotel. It's the prestige hotel in Tawau and was just launched last year. So, it's still BRAND NEW! And things were also NEW eheheheh....

The 2 new teachers(Siti Fairuz & Siti Noor), Kak Zunaidah, Kak khairaty and me took off from home at 11:20am and arrived at Great Eastern sharp at 11:40am.

No parking was reserved for us. Who would, btw??

So i parked along in line with other cars on the left wing of the hotel. The four ladies were already ahead out from me to the Hotel. When, i was on my way out from the car, i saw Cikgu Mazlan coming to his car. I thought he had forgotten something but he told me to park in the building as to be safe from being summoned.

(Yeah! Good idea. I don't wanna get the 4th ticket!)

I've already been summoned with 3 tickets by now..

So, you guys out there might as well know how i am GOOD in BREAKING the LAW!

By Accident-

Rushed back to the car and drove to the parking spaces provided in the building of Great Eastern.

I parked my car on the 3rd floor.

Directed myself to the Lobby.... and went into the lift...

Came out on the 6th floor...

I was lost as there were two open paths ready to take me in. One way was to the Lab and the other way was a big gigantic entrance. And in front of me was a small two-splitted door. I was about to enter the door right ahead of me and stopped when i saw a written board on the upper wall 'Staff Only'.

Well, that's a good sign! Giving me a clue to cross that- One out!

So, i took the other path that leds me to a very large door which belongs to a gigantor's entrance Home... WOW! So, as i walked myself in..I saw familiar faces, and i was happy to see them. As i walked in the ballroom, I was amazed at how big and spacious and beauoooooo-tiful the scene in the ballroom was.

I was really stunned to see the square crystal like-chandeliers....it was a 13" 10' in size( maybe, i was just guessing)....How'd i wish to have one at home....

There were many presents given away. There were 4 new teachers coming in and another 7 teachers moving out. WHich is a sad moment when a few teachers gave thier speech about the memories they had.

~The present i recieved during the event~

I really had a very fun time! The members of the table that day were "sporting"....And they made my day!

A Luncheon with the Crew of SMKJA

It's a usual thing to have an annual dinner to celebrate for all the hardworks and efforts we 'teachers' had done for this year.

Every year, our school celebrates 'annual dinner'. But this year end of fiesta is a bit different from the previous years. We are changing from dinner to lunch.....

We are changing from Night to Day....

We are changing to go for a Brighter Day...

We are heading for a brighter new resolution for next year; WE PRAY!

It'll be luncheon for all the cabin crews of SMKJA flite XEA 3066. . . . .

I haven't have anything in mind to wear on that day....

I sure would not wear JEans, Nor revealing blouses...

I sure am not going To WEAR Baju Kurung..... Unless,

it's decorated with sparkling beads and embroided with beautiful flowery flowers that makes me a DiVa :p

But, it seems i have not Even a SINGLE one collection in my closet....

*wink*

So, what am i wearing is still a Question i may have to answer before Saturday....

Tuesday Was Disaster!

‘Monday Blues’ are 2 words that are frequently uttered by many of us when we feel- not being in the mood of studying or working after the weekends.
Well, that's what adaptation functions as...... to adapt the Monday atmosphere. And my MONDAY was not mundane nor jaded. It was perfect!
However TUESDAY- was a Disaster! My 5D students have problems to respect their teachers (that includes me) their Form teacher. They tend to talk back whenever the teachers come in the class. I got many complaints about my class. DArn! Well, for me, i'm used to the students giving me stupid feedbacks and giving the no no answers to the questions shooted at them. It is somtimes FUN, but when they over-do it, i get annoyed and irritated. That's where i'll shout at them, and other option is i'll just put myself in a silent mode for a few minutes.
In conclusion, 5D just can't stop talking.....
But, we as human beings are not solely that perfect and we sometimes do not like to be treated like rubbish! There's this One kid who never gave me the respect of being a teacher. It's not that i really want them to respect me but, they need to understand the gap between teacher-students. It's not that i'm not so closed to them, i was being their friends and now they think they can over-what me, i can't find a suitable word to describe that.
This particular students:
i/. has the guts to go through my black pencil bag and take my handphone during class.
ii/. dares to poke me at my waist.
iii/. dares to give a simple touch of finger on my nose.
(even my honey wouldn't do that)
iv/. talks back abruptly and in a rude manner
-Mana ada teacher!
-na kan, na kan, Teacher jugak yang salah!
-Eee, teacher ni kan..tidak boleh kh?!
And now this has to STOP!
I went in class and i asked them to open their workbook! I gave them instructions in english. and everytime i do, i have to translate it in BM. And the thing with ma BM, is that i sometimes get stuck in between my lines because i couldn't figure out the sentence or words that i need. So, i went like urm...urm....urm....
Students said: Lambat jugak teacher cakap nie!
Man! was i damn so HOT and in ANGER!
I had hold on to my patient since the past 5 months ago! And Now i could not bare it no more! I felt like slapping her face! But, i gave a snap of thoughts-I'm a teacher! I can't humiliate infront of all the students. This will just bring down my reputation as a teacher!
What i did was....I took my books and things and directly went out of the class! It was wrong to just let the class alone! But, it's better than NOTHING, right?!
I sat at the staffroom, calming myself. My heart beat pounded fast!Gosh! Good thing a few colleagues of mine spent their time listening to my dilemma.
jjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjj
After school ends, the whole class came to me crying asking for apology! I think i did the right thing! and this time-they knew and understand that they had gone beyond the limits. I ignored them and left them crying in a group. Was too mad to entertained thier sobbings.
Night: Was texted a few messages of apologies! Gee! I 'm really tired of taking care of them.
kI got this from my class, Today!k

I Love Friday- JuLy,3rd,2009!

d Happy Birthday To Youd

It was Friday! And also my birthday! However, i didn't get to celebrate my birthday and throw a birthday Party Bash!!

Entering 3B is not a burden for me, but what makes me sometimes going into the zone of anger is when they seem not to care to pass up their homeworks. It’s not that they were too slow that I need to get down on my knees and crawl myself through the piles of theories and strategies of teaching to find techniques -to manage these bunch of kids; I don’t even have to really stress up translating in my lessons, but having these pain in the ass students just upset me at how they’re not entering their works on my table. I need to know how much they had developed! Gosh! I DO care and I really Damn Care when it comes to English.
No matter how I punished them, they’ll just passed through, like nothing ever happened! Pinching their nose, (makes them giggle), pinching their side tummies (tickles them more), letting them stand for 30 minutes while participating lesson (makes them want more)…Gees! These students are giving me a heart-attack! This is one of the most listed punishment I have in my long list scroll! Hahahahah..

kThey had only finished up 20 pump ups....They tried bargaining me..But Failed! 30 more to go! k

Told these two lil lovely rascy of mine to write 50 same introductions since Monday and yet they still have not yet turned in their work! Monday was writing time and I told them the techniques of writing a good introduction. However, as I was explaining, they were not paying attention. So, they deserved pumping up and down 50 times. Good exercise for Friday!
The bell rung, showing it was already Recess. I gave the students permit to go out and Eat! The staffroom will now be then crowded with students....I really don't like the chaotic scene. So, I stayed in their class to continue my work.

U can see the files on the table.

Then suddenly, ‘poof’ this homemade cake was in front of me. Mayliana ma dearest student had baked me a birthday cake and it was delicious.

These are a few snaps taken with ma old Nokia 5610-d:-
kHomemade cake....Not the cake you would imagined to have on your birthday, but this one is nice and mouthwatering! k

kA surprised birthday gatheringk

Taking a Pict of myself in the staffroom...

My Messy table! It shows the true color of how diligent i am when it comes top workLOad hahahaha..

Sitting on my Maroon swivel chair, I took out Mimi's cute 9" HP mini lappy and on it to access the internet. I was quite bored today as i had everything completed. EVen for the ULBS marks. Herm...as i cruised into my oblivious mind searching for any plans or things to do, I JUST COULDN'T see anything striving up the surface. I don't even know what to surf. SO, here i am Talking nonsense of the nonsense things i feel like spitting out. SO, here i am making out what's best to fill in the interval times of boredom.

Yesterday, i went to see my tailor..Aiseyman! Ada tailor bah.Feels like urang kaya plak:P I spent almost ...Oh No!RM70 only for the kain. Which is quite not cheap. Thatt's not including the upah jahit lagi tu....WEll, I just can't wait to see how i will look like in it. I'm beggining to have this hobby of 'Baju Kurung moden' Collection. I think it's because my environment of workplace encouraged me too. WHich is GOOD! Heehehe..My students really have the hobby of 'WHat's she gonna wear tomorrow'? Y, know that kinda thing... Well, i think that mind culture had already been within us since,,,even during my times. We tend to have this culture to see what teachers are going to wear. Whatmore, for those teachers who are born with style . And i'm proudly to say that I'm One of them hahahahaha...Too much of a Pride being let out today! Selfish me!

In conclusion, I have to go. Recess is in 2 minutes time and i have to turn on the English songs on air.SO. SO much of my babbling today! SHould i post this? I think i should!

Teachers' Day!

kHappy Teachers' Dayk

Last Friday, We celebrated Teachers' Day. Well, it was quite late to celebrate the event but we didn't want to get our ways doing too much things during exam weeks last months. So, it was like no celebration in the interval times of exam weeks. So we postponed it to 19th Jun...Or was that 18th...hahaha.. Lost track of date already. Too many things in my mind at this juncture. I gotta complete my unfinish business with the report cards. But i still wanna go through this every bit of my story. Back to my story!Well, We had a few games going on, on that day. After i went for aerobic i was already sweating before the game started. The games were Perchal-getah(Never heard about it but it was a game where you insert the band in the long straw and putting the straw in your mouth,(done this before, it was the name of the game that was giving me a lot of thinking. Then, there was the sponge game and Pinpong:

Here are a few shots:

kTrying to get myself warmed up before we begin k

kRun for your life! I tried my best to run. I ran with speed. But in this pict, it looks like i'm doing the slow motion runs! Gee! k

k Hah! I was exhausted already. And i had to cheat!Hahaha...
It was just all about having fun! k

kThis was the spongey sponge. Hahhaa..I took a plastic and pour the water in it,Ran & poured it in the bottle. i don't think you could see the plastic here hahahah.. Wow! How ....i just love my hair!
kI'm a good cheater! k

kWas trying my best to get the pinpong ball on the spoon! I need to exhale and inhale air! I can't breathe.Ugh! When i exhaled, the air came out via my nose making the pingpong ball which was light as a feather to almost jumped off from the spoon! Darn! I had to breathe and exhale slowly hahahaha...It was fun and tiring! You really need strategy..k

hNow i noticed that i'd kept my head up all the way to the finishing line hahahah

kTwo good cheaters! From Game ONE! k
