Quick Catch Up

Hi everyone.

I thought I would do a quick catch up today on some cards I haven't shown on this blog yet.  You may have already seen them on the Lime Tart Blog, but I thought it was about time that I shared them here as well.

But firstly I am excited to share that two of my cards are in this months issue of Australian Cardmaking, Stamping and Papercraft.  For those of you who are interested they are on page 37.

Now onto the cards. First up is this little cutie pie. The card uses the Penny Black stamp called Angels Among Us.  Isn't she just the sweetest.

A perfect stamp for when you you just want to say hi is this Saturated Canary Stamp-Talkie. The glasses I found a bit tricky, but a quick run down on how I did it can be found in this Lime Tart Blog post.

I wanted to try and do something a bit more funky with this next card, hence the pink hair.   The stamp is Lil Lolita Willow, from CC Designs.

And last but not least is this beauty. I think it is one of my most favourite colourings that I have done. The stamp is April Sunshine from Whimsy Stamps.

A bit of a mixed bag today.  I hope you enjoyed looking at them all.  I have a few creations on my desk at the moment which I can't wait to share with you.  I am feeling very creative at the moment.  It must be all the lovely sunshine we have been having.

I decided to try my hand at creating my own sun shaped card base. It was nothing too hard, precise or fancy, but I liked the fun feel that it added to the card.  It is nice to think out of the square sometimes :)

La-La Land Crafts-It's New Release Time!!

Helloooooo everyone!!

I am very excited about this La-La Land Crafts blog post, because today I can share with you the latest release stamps and dies.

This release is spooktacular and also full of Christmas joy.

Did you want to see them...of course you did.

Feeling a bit spooky, then these Halloween stamps are sure to fill you with frightful fun.

These Halloween stamps were begging to be put into a little diorama.

At this stage I caught Halloween Fever and couldn't resist making a Halloween Gift bag using Lion Luka.

I decided I needed a new banner to hang up for Christmas, so what would be cuter than a La-La Christmas Banner.

I am guessing you would like some close-ups, your wish is my command.

First take Christmas Elf Luka, Christmas Tree Die and Christmas Lantern Marci.

and add on Holly Flourish Die and Chrismas Present Luka.

Finally finish with Christmas Elf Marci.

You probably noticed all the amazing new dies I used on my projects.  They complemented this new release so splendidly and added that extra special touch to each project I made. I love them a lot!

I can't tell you how much fun I had playing with this new release. Normally the lead up to the festive season puts me in a panic. There is always so much to do and so little time to do it all.  But creating these projects had an almost calming effect on me.

Hello everyone.

I hope this blog post finds you all well.  We welcomed a new addition into our family this week, his name is Alfie. He is a gorgeous 9 week old Golden Retriever that is full of mischief and love.

He has taken up a lot of my time, lets face it who could pull themselves away from this little guy.

There is a very subtle swirl pattern on her dress.  I did this after the finished image was dried, by drawing the swirls in the darkest colour I used on her dress, so R32.

La-La Land Crafts-New Releases!!!!

Okay are you ready for an exciting mammoth post!!

Today is a very special day indeed, because today marks the biggest New Release ever from La-La Land Crafts.

Magnolia Monday

Brrrr hasn't the temperature dropped.  

Perfect for staying indoors and colouring.

I have long adored the cute images from Magnolia Stamps, so I was extremely excited when Philippa ordered some in for Lime Tart.

Here is my very first Magnolia Stamps creation using Rose Scent Tilda.

I love her just a little bit.

Those gorgeous papers and embellishments are from this months Full Tart.  Such vibrant colours..they make me happy.

While am I here I might as well share another card.

This one is using the very sweet Cinnamon Sugar from Whimsy stamps.

I love her too :)
