PRC to Go Online with eServices

Hours of waiting and long lines will soon be a thing of the past at the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) as the regulatory body will soon be utilizing an online system for most of its services.
The initiative is part of President Aquino's 22-point platform and policy pronouncement on labor and employment.
Once established, the public will have online access to the following PRC services:
The PRC eServices initiative, once completed, will be available in all PRC Regional Offices nationwide.

95,282 Nursing Graduates Take Nursing Board Exams Today

A total of 95,282 nursing graduates will take the nurse licensure examinations today according to information released by the Professional Regulation Commission - Board of Nursing.
This month's nursing examination will be the biggest in history in terms of number of examinees surpassing last year's figure which was 88,649.
The biggest number of examinees will come from Metro Manila (40,621 first-timers, 33 conditioned); Baguio (14,102 first-timers, 7 conditioned); Cebu (8,899 first-timers, 5 conditioned); Cagayan De Oro (3,045 first-timers, 2 conditioned); Davao (8,143 first-timers, 2 conditioned); Iloilo (6,020); Legaspi (3,070 first-timers, 1 conditioned); Lucena (3,444); Tacloban (1,145); Tuguegarao (2,322 first-timers, 1 conditioned); Zamboanga (1,609); Jolo (166); Pagadian (1,568); Angeles (179); and Butuan (898).
The two-day Nurse Licensure Examination is composed of five (5) 100-item tests and is administered bi-annually by the Professional Regulation Commission - Board of Nursing in various cities across the country.
