Oathtaking Schedule for New Nurses in Manila






The scheduling for the oathtaking of new nurses in Manila will be by school. This was announced by the Board of Nursing to facilitate an orderly oathtaking ceremony.

Scheduled on March 14 and 15, the mass oathtaking will be held in separate morning and afternoon sessions over the two-day period at the SMX Convention Center.

The schedule is posted below for reference:
Inductees may avail of up to two (2) tickets for their guests at P200 each. Each nurse inductee will also have to purchase a ticket for P350.  Those who will be availing tickets are reminded to pick up their tickets on the specified date and time listed on their priority slip.

Oathtaking and Registration Instructions for New Nurses






The Professional Regulation Commission reminds new nurses that they are required to bring the following when they register:

  • Duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, 
  • Current Community Tax Certificate (cedula), 
  • 2 pieces passport size picture (colored with white background and complete name tag), 
  • 1 piece 1” x 1” picture (colored with white background and complete name tag), 
  • 2 sets of metered documentary stamps, and 
  • 1 short brown envelope with name and profession;

Initial Registration Fee of P600 and Annual Registration Fee of P450 for 2010-2013 will also be collected.

Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

The oathtaking ceremony of new nurses in Manila as well as the previous ones who have not taken their Oath of Professional will be held before the Board on Monday and Tuesday, September 20 and 21, 2010, with morning (8:00 A.M.) and afternoon (1:00 P.M.) sessions at the SMX Convention Center, SM Mall of Asia, Pasay City. All must come in their white gala uniform, nurse’s cap, white duty shoes, without earrings, hair not touching the collar and without corsage .

Oathtaking tickets for the National Capital Region (NCR) and nearby regions will be available at the Philippine Nurses Association (PNA) at 1663 F.T. Benitez Street, Malate, Manila, from September 1 - 20, 2010 on a “first come first serve ” basis.

All regional oathtaking schedules will be posted in the BON website at www.bonphilippines.org and here at Pinoy R.N.







The Professional Regulation Commission - Board of Nursing has announced the tentative oathtaking schedule for new nurses who took the July 3-4, 2010 nursing board exam.

Those from the National Capital Region (NCR) will be taking their oath on September 20-21, 2010.

Oathtaking schedule for other areas will be announced later. Different board members have been assigned to separate areas for the oathtaking. Here's the draft assignments:

Gen. Santos, Roxas City, Davao - Hon. B.Merrit;
La Union, Laoag, Bohol - Hon. C.M. Abaquin;
Tacloban, Bacolod, Zamboanga - Hon. P.G. Po;
Pagadian, Tuguegarao - Hon. L.A. Faire;
Legaspi, Cagayan de Oro, Iloilo - Hon. A.B. Rosales;
Baguio, Pangasinan, Pampanga - Hon. Y. C. Arugay;
Cebu, Dumaguete, Lucena - Hon. M. A. C. Sto Tomas.

Tickets to the oathtaking ceremony will be available at PNA offices after the July 2010 nursing board exam results are officially released.

Oathtaking and Registration Schedule for New Nurses in Baguio






The Professional Regulation Commission - Baguio Regional Office has published the Oathtaking and Initial Registration schedules for Baguio examinees who passed the November 2009 Nursing Board Exams.

Initial registration in Baguio will start on February 4, 2010 with the oathtaking at the CAP building in Camp John Hay on March 12, 2010. Complete details are posted below.

November 2009 Nursing Board Exam Results



Examinees who passed in the November 2009 Nursing Board Examination are advised to bring the following items when they register at the Professional Regulation Commission offices:

Benitez Street, Malate, Manila on a strictly first come first serve basis.
