Iceberg still has its charm.
I did a quick tip prune when I arrived home from hospital and the Autumn roses are happily blooming.
I need to remember to buy some food. I am trying to get used to being organized to get things when friends are kind enough to take me out.
Was picked up for Church this morning and delivered home and then another friend and I went and checked out Target's 30% and triple fly buy points. I even bought slippers!!!
I think this may be a David Austin but have forgotten which and what.
So good to lie in the sun or roll up in a rug.
My shoulder is getting better each day and the wound is excellent. I found myself getting bit tired in Church with it in the sling. Hate the sling but am meant to wear it till the 24th.
I have little periods like now of forgetfullness....in putting it back on.
Had a day at Patchwork yesterday where we did a tutorial from Missouri Star Quilting CompanyTube lesson
These were rather yummy.
I have to confess to trying two.
Yours truely with arm in a sling. I had to keep protecting shoulder from hugs as people see the sling and thing the arm is the problem. But I survived well and took heaps of photos with macro lens which is great as a portraiture lens for candid photos. My carer was to come and undress and shower me at 3.30 so we cancelled that and the friend who gave me a ride came in and helped me undress and shower. So Cinderella got to attend the ball after all! And after church today another friend collected me and we did Target over while they had 30% discounts and triple fly buy points. It is nice when you get a cash card as the points mount up. Especially for things you would buy normally.

The bulbs that stay in the ground are poking heads through very happily.

I watched as I am not into carrying machines around yet but we had some fun results.
Then I was picked up at 2.00 and went on to a combined 70th birthday party for a couple I have known since 1980 when he and I both had leads in Brigadoon and later Pirates of Penzance and then were at the same church. We often sang duets together. He has a lovely voice and there was a bush band he plays in and he also sang. His wife was almost overwhelmed when she saw relatives from Britain there. It was a complete surprize undertaken very well by their lovely grown up daughters.
I have to confess to trying two.
So that has been my week end.
