Muse Monday Challenge

It's the 4th Monday of August which means it's my turn to play with this month's featured Bombshell stamp set Growing Heart.

I coloured Growing Heart in with Spectrum Noir pens having stamped and clear embossed the image onto some beige coloured cardstock. I then created a collaged background using various My Minds Eye papers, edges inked with Distress Inks.

Now pop along to the Bombshell Blog to see the projects created by the rest of the DT!

It's Muse Monday!!

Amazing that it's the 4th Monday of April already which means it's my turn for Bombshell Blog's Muse Monday!
Each month we choose a Bombshell Stamp Set to showcase and then each Monday the Design Team members show you their projects!
I love seeing the variety of projects and looks from the same stamp set- very inspiring!

This month it was Harley Bikes which is a new stamp set for me.
I wanted to do something a little different and took inspiration from a scrapbook page.
I imaginged the effect a Harley would have on a little old lady, the imaginary Great Aunt Ada who was secretly a biker!

Supplies
Harley Bike Bombshell Set
7 Gypsies Trousseau papers
7 Gypsies Tea-Thyme Journalling notecard
Tim Holtz gears
Distress Ink

Muse Monday-King of the Road Week 4

At Bombshell stamps we've been featuring the King of the Road stamp set in our Monday feature Muse Monday.

This is a case of FIRSTS for me this week, this is the first time I've used King of the Road stamps and this is the first time I've tried the chalkboard technique!

To create a chalkboard effect you need to stamp with clear embossing ink onto smooth black cardstock and then emboss the image with white embossing powder.
Next stamp the images again, this time slightly offset in white ink, this gives a ghosted look as if you've drawn on a real chalkboard!
Use the white inkpad to lightly brush white ink around the edges of the black cardstock to make the card look 'chalky'.

I hope you've enjoyed our Muse Monday offerings this month pop back every Monday in February to see our new Muse from Bombshell Stamps!

Cherry Bomb!

I can't believe it's nearly the end of November! This month on the Bombshell Blog we are showcasing the CherryBomb Stamp set. Now this is a new set to me so I thought I'd see what I could do with Big Old Mr Devil and some Kraft cardstock and white embossing powder-I may have mentioned I'm having a bit of a Kraft Cardstock 'thang' at the moment!

Supplies:
Cherry Bomb Bombshell Stamp Set
My Mind's Eye Halloween Paper
Shapeabilities Ribbon Banners
Shapeabilities Foliage
Nestabilities Postage Stamps
Distress Ink
White Embossing Powder

I used my Bombshell Pin I created back in July as an embellishment as it had those cute cherries on it!

I hope you're recovering from all the Turkey and that your festive arrangements are going well- don't forget some time for crafting- the best therapy there is!
