Girafe et papillon

Il y a une dizaine de jours c'était l'anniversaire de Simone ....
Elle adore les girafes alors je lui ai fait une petite carte avec une girafe =)
Le Brésil a un service des postes qui a du être croisé avec un escargot :(
La carte est arrivée un peu tard mais l'intention y était...et puis Simone l'a beaucoup aimée, c'est le principal non ? =D
Donc maintenant qu'elle est arrivée je peux vous la montrer

Je la trouvais fin rigolote

A côté de ça, n'ayant pas de grands projets en ce moment (pause estivale ? enfin estivale parce que c'est noté comme ça sur le calendrier !!) je me suis fait un petit porte clefs...
Un peu déçue, je n'ai pas réussi à lui donner la bonne forme de papillon :(
Je ferai mieux la prochaine fois :)
Le corps était normalement en points de croix mais j'ai préféré y mettre des perles ...
Et j'ai utilisé un morceau des rubans reçus de Rita pour l'échange d'été =)

Some days ago it was Simone B-Day

As she loves giraffes and that I had in my charts this funny one (I found her funny =D) I decided to made her a card.

It seems that when you have something to send to Brazil you have to count one or two weeks more than usually =D

So sorry for not having sent it earlier  :-/

But anyway, it has arrived , Simone enjoyed it (it the most important thing isn't ? =D) and I can show you ...

As for the moment I haven't big stitching goals (yes, I haven't =D , maybe I'm on Summer holidays..Summer only because it's written like this on the calendar !!!) I just made myself a key chain =D

A bit disappointed because I didn't succeed to give it the exact shape of a butterfly, but I like it, and I'll do better next time !

the body was initially made with Xstitches but I decided to put beads instead =D

I had Chinese beads in my drawer ...

And used a piece of ribbon offered by Rita in the MS Summer exchange =D

Beginning of next week I come back  with my SomeBunny that I'm going to offer on Sunday 

I'm impatient to meet Baby Anna and to offer her my 'hand made' present....

Un porte clefs et un joli cadeau

Je suis bien heureuse de voir l’essor que prend doucement mon blog et je suis toujours aussi contente de vous faire partager mes aventures autant en point de croix qu'en balades  =)
Merci à toi cher lecteur de passer quelques minutes par ici...
Avec ce weekend Londonien pas trop eu le temps de faire des petites croix  =(
Juste un petit porte clefs hippopotame pour mon homme (nous avons un gentil délire tous les 2 avec un hippopotame) que je trouve assez réussi, même si c'était un peu galère de le fermer !

Et il y a un petit mois, sur le groupe de Facebook, une des croixpinettes a eu un bébé, et nous avons décidé en secret de lui confectionner un petit quelque chose =)
12 d'entre nous ont brodé un petit personnage Winnie, moi j'ai choisi Tigrou et une de nous a récupéré les 12 broderies, a 'joué' les couturières pour en faire une très jolie couverture =)

La maman a été très heureuse de ce cadeau fait main et avec cœur.
Encore un projet secret de révélé =)
Je suis maintenant sur une toute petite carte d'anniversaire, et j'ai une commande ! =)

33 friends here today ! wooo ! I'm happy, my blog is growing slowly but I love that , and I'm always very happy to share with you my stitching adventures and my 'travels'  =)

Thank you for coming around here and take the time to read my posts. It always makes me happy =)

With the Jubilee and our going to London, I got a bit tired and had lot's of things to do at  home so I didn't stitch much =(

But hubby wanted a little something (just like Mum some weeks ago I think he was a bit jealous =) and poor guy, he is always helping me so much...I had to stitch him something) 

He asked for a key chain !

And as we have together a 'private joke' with a hippopotamus ... I made him a hippopotamus key chain =)

It was a bit difficult to close it but finally it's a cute little thing =) 

And hubby loves it, that's the most important thing !

Then...I can reveal a secret project again =)

One of our friends from the Facebook group had a baby one month ago

12 of us decided some weeks before to stitch a little something related to Winnie the Pooh (that she loves very much)  , I chose Tiger ... and one of the girls gathered all the stitchings and made a blanket for the baby =)

Bravo Audrey for the sewing =)

Our friend received the blanket yesterday and was very very happy with this handmade gift in which we all put lot's of love.

I'm now preparing a little birthday card for next week...and I have an order

I have to stitch The Taylor of Gloucester by Beatrix Potter =) 

This is a cute design indeed that I'll have pleasure to stitch

I have the chart, it's of a poor quality but I'll do my best.

Pas beaucoup de petites croix ces derniers jours :-/
Avec nos anniversaires...
Dimanche j'ai donné la guirlande et Sébastien le crabe à maman qui a adoré =D

on recevait les parents et les grand-mères et pour l'occasion j'ai fait des tartes et trop fort quand j'ai cassé le 1er œuf...encore une souris =D
Vous ne trouvez pas qu'on dirait un Mickey ?? =D
J'ai fait un petit porte clef pour une amie, mon amie, ma 2ème copine (:D)
un petit chien Burberry elle qui est fan du Burberry ! je pense faire plaisir là encore =D

With our birthdays...

Sunday, I gave the garland and Sebastian to Mum who was really really happy =D

Suuuuper :)

We had my parents and my 2 grand mothers here and so I made tarts...and hoooo surprise when I broke the 1st egg in my bowl....a mouse again =D

I just made a key holder for one of my very good friends here

She is fan, found of Burberry style...so I made this little dog =D

Sure I'll make a happy girl again =D

Winnie is progressing but I can't continue as I want to, because I have 2 colours missing in my kit :(

I went to the haberdasher's shop, to order the threads because it's Anchor and we don't find Anchor around here :(

The woman will phone me this week to confirm if she can have them...otherwise I'll have to ask to one of you =D
