Full Spectrum Veronique Perrin
By
Unknown
This is Full Spectrum Veronique Perrin from the 2014 Urban Safari collection. She is one of the many dolls I preordered with the intent to resell but ended up keeping. Originally, I'd intended to order her as a split (the nude doll only), but I loved the way her bright poppy day dress looks with the more muted tones of the Urban Safari collection.
Unfortunately, I ruined one of her hands. I was changing them (or trying to), and it got stuck--it broke off at the wrist. My husband was able to drill out the peg without damaging her lower arm, lucky for me. And I have other extra hands that will suit this skin tone, I believe. I've heard of this happening before; it was just my first experience with it: not fun!
You can see a few more photos of Vero on Flickr.

Joyous Celebration Poppy Parker
By
Unknown
For her fifth anniversary, Integrity Toys offered an exclusive Poppy Parker to W Club members, called Joyous Celebration. She's quite lovely.
She has facial screening similar to the ultra limited edition Bergdorf Goodman Poppy, and her hair styled in a neat, easy to maintain braided up-do.
Her gown is inspired by a vintage Francie outfit--DS-2240 Ballgown, only Poppy's has a pink underskirt (rather than orange), and the shoulders of her gown are styled different. She's a lovely doll.
I believe this doll was offered to every W Club member, so I'm not sure of her edition size. I bet I could find it on her certificate of authenticity--if only I could find her box!

Runway Right Away Vanessa Perrin
By
Unknown
Another grail doll from my collection, and a new addition from last year: Runway Right Away Vanessa Perrin. She uses the original Vanessa sculpt, and she's been given a new updated body, which unfortunately needs to be replaced. (As you can see, her hands have faded a little.)
Her hair has been rinsed, I think, from its original style, but I think it still looks pretty good. I'd love to restyle it somehow. This is a great color for Vanessa, in my opinion. I always see her as a redhead!

Adorned Vanessa Perrin
By
Unknown
This is Adorned Vanessa Perrin - she uses the Vanessa 3.0 sculpt, and is one of favorite dolls from the latest Integrity Toys convention (and the only one I've picked up). I loved the centerpiece Vanessa (1.0) doll, too, but she was a little pricey for my taste.
Her gown is lovely, though I'm not usually a fan of accentuating the articulation points of a doll, which is what often happens with super low necklines. The chiffon cape attaches to the dress in the back with a tiny button and two tiny magnetic clips at the shoulder, which I could not get working--but I often have a hard time with buckling shoes. No big surprise there.
Vanessa's auburn hair is probably really pretty when brushed out--but this is her right out of the box. I think it's meant to be a long Farrah Faucett style. I love her blue eyes with this look.

Provocatrice
By
Unknown
Following my resolutions, I have been splitting my time this morning on laundry and photography. It's not a great mix, but it works.
Above, it's Anja Provocatrice from the 2010 Integrity Toys convention. I added her to my collection (I believe via trade) last year, and I've been wanting her for a while. I adore her blue hair--it simply speaks to me!

Popular fashion doll photos from 2014
By
Unknown
Here are the top ten fashion doll photos (sorted by number of favorites) on Flickr. Above, it's On the Rise Elise Jolie, taken at IFDC in July. She was displayed in the Integrity Toys booth. This photo has 30 favorites.
Elise was popular this year, and one of the dolls I did not order from the collection. This photo has 28 favorites, and was also taken at IT's display booth at IFDC.
On the Prowl Eugenia was another favorite, coming it at #3 with 25 favorites. She too was on display. I didn't add her to my collection, either.
Interestingly, this photo of the yellow dress Barbie Look Red Carpet collection doll (I think with the Louboutin face) comes in at #4 with 25 favorites (and fewer views). I took this photo at the Grant A Wish convention in April.
A second Grant A Wish photo from April comes in at #5 with 24 favorites. This Barbie Look Red Carpet doll uses the Lea face and is wearing a silver gown.
Those sneak peeks of the Barbie Look collection were quite popular this year. This doll takes the #6 spot with 22 favorites. She uses the lovely Aphrodite face.
Weirdly, this dark photo comes in at #7. It's another photo from the IFDC convention, at Integrity's booth. Elusive Creature Natalia Fatale has garnered 21 favorites.
A blurry shot takes up spot #8, also with 21 favorites. This showcases the Mackie, Aphrodite and Lea sculpts of the Red Carpet Barbie Look collection previewed at the Grant a Wish convention.
Agent Lotta Danger (Poppy Parker) was manufactured by Integrity Toys, and displayed at IFDC in July. She comes in at #9 with 18 favorites.
French Kissed Tulabelle is a 16" Integrity Toys doll. She comes in at #9 with 17 favorites. I actually ordered just the fashion from this doll, and it's amazing.
Finally, coming in the 10the place with 17 favorites is Vivid Encounter Adele Makeda. I ended up ordering this doll, and she is great! I think her dress is amazingly detailed, and I really like her makeup.
After perusing these photos myself, I realize two things: 1) I should continue to attend conventions and doll shows, and 2) I need to take some more photos of dolls that are actually in my collection.

New FR: Nippon from Integrity Toys!
By
Unknown
I'm personally rather thrilled to announce two new additions to Integrity's FR:Nippon line--these girls go on sale December 9, 2014 at the FR:Nippon site. This is on Tokyo Time, so keep this time difference in mind.
The dolls are limited to just 300 each, retail for 17,000 Japanese Yen (about $140 plus shipping), and to order, you'll want to email Chiaki, whose email will be listed on the website. (For other IT collectors--these girls share the same body as Poppy Parker.)
Above, it's Darling Girl Misaki. She's an adorable brunette with rooted eyelashes and blue eyes. She will ship next week (the week of December 15). She's dressed in a rather fantastic striped chiffon dress, lace-trimmed coat, tights, red shoes, bag and silver hoop earrings.
Party Girl Amelie also makes an appearance with her friend Misaki. She's got auburn hair, and green eyes with rooted lashes. She's wearing faux leather shorts over fishnets, a turtleneck sweater neck under a cute patterned jacket, and has a nice purse, boots and silver earrings.
She too is available to preorder (probably later today) and will ship December 15.

Edge, Vanessa Perrin: week of December 15, 2105
Ombres Poetique, Mademoiselle Jolie: week of January 5, 2015
Nicely, IT will be offering combined shipping for those of members who have ordered both dolls.
Jem an the Holograms fans, be on the lookout for the 30th anniversary celebration of Jem in 2015. Members were offered a sneak peek of one of the first dolls to be offered in this line (she can't be ordered yet--more info will be coming soon). The hint, for you collectors, is that, "We hear she's pretty good at conducting interviews and has her own hit Rock TV show."
I'm just going to say it--I'm shocked to hear that Jem is turning 30--I thought she was much younger than that! I didn't grow up in the US, and I'm not familiar with this doll from my youth, though I remember seeing the dolls on return visits to my grandparents and family. I had no idea I was 12 when she was released! I guess I probably was a little beyond cartoons at that point--though I still loved Barbies!

By
Unknown
I can't believe I forgot to post this--but there was a lottery for a limited edition of 800 Poppy Parker doll, That Holiday Feeling, retail $120, who is currently in stock. W club members submitted their names to a drawing, and the lottery will be held December 15. Poppy will ship shortly thereafter.
This lovely doll has the FR white skin tone with black hair and green eyes, and lovely red lips. She's dressed in a wonderful white gown with embroidered bodice and red accents, and includes a red cape trimmed with "fur." She also includes lots of accessories: gloves, pearl jewelry, a clutch, muff, and red kitten heels.

Final W Club doll of the year: Rare Appearance Dania Zarr
By
Unknown
The final W Club exclusive doll has been announced and is available for all members to order. It's Dania Zarr in Rare Apperance. I rather like her, actually.
She's got a medium length retro-style brunette hairstyle with striking blue eyes, painted quite nicely, and she's in the Japan skin tone on the new FR2 2013 body. Her retail is $130, with delivery planned in the spring of 2015.
She's dressed in an elegant white cocktail dress, and includes extra grey gloved hands, a rather cool looking convertible bag and coordinating shoes, bracelet, earrings, and of course, sunglasses.

Integrity Toys is coming to Long Beach, California
By
Unknown
Great news for us West Coasters--I'm thrilled to let you all know that Integrity Toys convention will be held in Long Beach, California in 2015. No news on which hotel, yet, nor on the exact dates, but it should be slightly less expensive (I should think) than Beverly Hills in 2013.
Integrity Toys Gloss Convention Collection
By
Unknown
Finally, I've got the remaining photos (I hope) from Integrity Toys Gloss convention. These are the dolls from the convention collection. Each attendee was given a ticket for each doll shown here, which allowed them the right to purchase one of each doll. After their given spot in the showroom, sales opened up, and remainders were offered to other attendees, so attendees were able to leave with multiples.
It isn't yet known if all the dolls have sold out, but usually there are some dolls leftover, which are then offered on Integrity Toys website. I believe these dolls sold for $125 at convention, but have a retail price of $150. Discounts were also offered to attendees who purchased the entire collection in advance and had the dolls shipped home. Each of the convention dolls were limited to 500.
Above, it's Nocturnal Glow Vanessa Perrin. She uses the current Vanessa sculpt.
Grandiose Natalia Fatale uses the current Natalia sculpt. You'll notice the Gloss theme is sort of a 1970s/disco inspired theme, which is sort of consistent through this collection.
Kyori Sato makes an appearance as Nightshade in a dramatic black gown here. She uses the current Kyori sculpt as well.
No convention collection would be complete without Eugenia Frost, who makes an appearance in Cold-Shoulder. This ice blue dress is sort of a modern interpretation of disco, I think.
My favorite of all the convention collection is Vanessa Perrin in Adorned. She has gorgeous auburn curls in a Farrah Fawcett feathers, and is wearing a sky blue chiffon gown with a deep-V neckline.
Another lovely doll from this collection is Dark Moon Poppy Parker. She sold out very quickly, one of my friend told me, and she's lovelier in person than she is in the promo photos.
A surprise addition to the collection is La Ville Lumiere (The City of Lights) Simonette Bertorelli, a friend to Victoire Roux. She is a new sculpt but has the same body as Victoire.
