The other day I was in Zara and happened upon the cutest nautical inspired suit with matching shorts. I swear it looks even sweeter in person and it comes with lovely anchor buttons. This is definitely on my Spring wish list.

Goodbye 2013.

I am so happy that 2013 is finally coming to a close.  This past year has been very difficult for me on many personal levels so I am very relieved that 2014 will let me start anew. It’s funny how a new year, just a new number, allows us to metaphorically push the refresh button of our lives. No matter, I need this to happen.

I am so thankful that I decided to start this blog seven years ago. It gives me a lot of pleasure blogging about things I love (be it frivolous or not) and I am thankful for those of you who continuously come back to read it so that we can enjoy it together.

I know I was toying with the idea of buying the Chloé 'Marcie' mini shoulder bag for a while. Tote or satchel? Tote or satchel? Choosing the colour was going to be the next hardest task considering I'm so indecisive when presented with too many pretty shades to pick from (this happens to me at the gelato stand too). It won't seem real enough until I receive it in my hands, so for now let's just say...

I may or may not have gotten it.

trending in Seoul: shearling jackets

I think the biggest item that's trending in Seoul at the moment is the shearling motorcycle jacket. Most of the ones I've seen so far in the street shops are synthetic shearling though so if you want to go for the real deal (proabably a lot warmer too!) I would suggest getting yourself an ACNE one. Velocite is the style!

Yesterday I went out for a dinner with friends + new people for the first time since coming back to Seoul and experienced such an unpleasant jab of city-snobbiness that it almost made me want to puke a little. Unpleasantries aside, today is a beautiful day outside and I just received my new sweater in the mailbox (it feels as good as 100% cashmere).

Chloé was my favourite collection from Paris Fashion Week. I know, Isabel Marant wasen't the fave you're saying? Shocker. I seriously love what Clare Waight Keller is doing for the brand. My favourite parts were the lapis lazuli-shaded clothing, so intense and beautiful!
