Still catching up. School started!

So this is the second in chronological of playing catch up, but second one you're reading.

This is Chappy, Tony's best friend and one of James' students, and one of our adoptees.  He came by to say goodbye before entering the MTC.  He is serving in the Fort Worth Texas Mission.  Shane got to see him in Provo and they went to lunch before he reported to the MTC.

Lego Fun with brothers - my five little boys at the end.

Jet making sure he had a turn for a Father's Blessing for back to school.

Pack Meeting.

Danny started soccer again.  First game 2 goals for a loss of 4 to 5 and second game 3 goals for a win of 5 to 0.  He is on an 11 to 12 team and they play full field with 9 players.  His team is the Black Knights.

Well, I'm caught up.  Oh who am I kidding: we're back in school and I already am behind on signing papers for the kids' classrooms.  It is what it is!  Live it and Love it...  And I do.

Playing catch up again! It feels like I will forever be behind. :>

I am going to have to do this in 2 posts.  This is the first chronologically, but the second in line for reading.

We had the wedding.  I am still waiting for the disc from the photographer but here are a few pictures.  I don't have any from the reception because, well, I was standing in line all night. :)

And then we headed to the lake for some vacation time.  Shiloh and Scott stayed the week and it was so nice to have the girls there.  We had a wonderful time.

So, the boys had to do some swim stuff for scouting and one of the choices was to pass the BSA swimmers test.  I am proud to say, all 3 wanted to go for it.  It's not that easy, especially for an 8, 10, and 11 year old.  James went with each one in case it proved too difficult.  This is Danny - obviously. :)

 This is Ryan

Here goes Koli - he probably swam the hardest and longest because he kept going soooo off course. :)  He leans a bit to the left.

They all did it.  Way to go!

After the lake trip, James and I flew to Chicago for the open house there.  It was really nice.  Very nice people who had nothing but wonderful things to say about Wesley.  Again, I didn't have my camera for that, but I did for the zoo.  The free zoo, which was one of the best I've ever been to.

What a great time.  Lots of work, but well worth it.  We have a wonderful family and James and I had a wonderful time in Chicago and managed to celebrate our 24 year anniversary.  I consider myself very lucky, spoiled, and blessed.
