Hello Friends Happy Monday :) It is so hot here in upstate NY. This Scottish girl still cannot get used to the hot and humid summers of America. I much prefer the cold to the heat. Yes I did just say that ha.  So I spent today inside beside my air conditioner crafting.  I made this card for the CAS-ual Fridays challenge. The challenge is to use hearts in summery colours.  So I got out my Martha Stewart heart punch and punched lots of hearts in pink, green and purple glitter paper. I made a row of hearts and sprinkled some sequins and rhinestones in between them. I used a stamp from Unity Stamp Co called Fall Together .  I stamped the sentiment just above my row of bling using VersaFine Onyx black Ink. I hope you like my card, thanks so much for stopping by. Happy Valentine's Day :)  It's  Friends with Flair day over at Unity. So I just had to make another Valentine card :) This little bear is actually a Christmas stamp.  However I have used him previously for a Birthday card and now a Valentine card. I like seasonal stamps that you can  use throughout the year.  You can find him here Christmas Teddy . The sentiment is from I Love You Tons stamp set.  I stamped the words several times, then used my heart punch and punched them out individually.  The heart background paper is from the paper studio.  I paper pieced the little present with the same paper. Here is a quick clean and simple Valentine card I made for my husband. I was looking for a nice one to buy but I really could not find any that I liked. So I just had to make my own :)  I used the Love You stamp from the Strength & Dignity KOM 11/13 . I stamped the sentiment in the middle of the card. Then punched out some blue glitter hearts from the Glitzy Pastels DCWV stack. Next I made a pattern with the hearts, sequins and rhinestones and glued it all in place. Hello Friends I really enjoy the  Unity Be Inspired Challenge . It does challenge me to use colours that I would normally stay away from. I love seeing what everyone creates with the same palette. There is still lots of time left to link up your project if you want to take part :) I was going for a beach theme for this card. I used three different stamp sets,  Rain or Shine , My Sunshine &  Angie Girl - Dream with your Heart .  I created the background with alcohol markers. The blue/green colour as a sky and the stone colour as sand.  I kept the colouring a little blotchy for a wet sand look. I stamped and paper pieced the image of the couple using all of my scrap paper.  I used the flowers from the Angie Girl stamp to create the pattern on the dress. I stamped, coloured and cut out the clouds. I then glued them to the very top, letting the sun overlap the card base to create some dimension. I then added tiny little heart...

I have been playing around with my stamps tonight making some Christmas cards I wanted to share this one with you. I really like this stamp I love the sentiment as it is one of my favourite Christmas songs :) I paper pieced the sleigh with green glitter card and coloured the rest with spectrum noir alcohol markers. I used some red glitter card to create a border and mounted it onto a card base.
