Besides the Quilt Show we dashed out to New Harmony long enough for me to buy a couple gourds for birdhouses and some local honey. I was too tired to do much else and only took 6 photos while I was there!
There was a man selling metal art and I thought the Superman was rather cool.
A dragonfly bench by the same guy. Several of you have said you like the bench, so here is a link to the man's web site. Gottman Metal Works
Some fiber art pieces.
That's it. I'm ready to return to nature photos as soon as I take some.

I do like that bench Mary. SOme people are very talented.
Good Morning, Mary! We could all use a superman now and then! And I like those wall hanging pieces of fiber art!
...those are pretty cool. I like that dragon fly bench a lot...looks comfy as well!
Love the bench! I look forward to hearing how your gourds do!
I'm voting with the majority ... the dragonfly bench rocks! :-)
For those who liked the dragonfly bench, the artist lives in Mount Vernon, Indiana. Here is a web site address and I added a link to the photo of the bench: http://www.gottmetal.com/index.html
That is a very dramatic man of steel. I hope you were able to get your gourds.
Wow Mary... That man doing the art out of steel is really talented. I've never seen a bench like that--muchless Superman. All I can say is AWESOME.
Thanks for showing us these.
Hugs,
Betsy
I like the dragonfly bench. Isn't it amazing what creative people can come up with?
Mike thinks it would be a nice hobby to do this sort of metalwork! Before we saw these he had already sent for some free information about doing it....I didn't know that when I posted.
George: Yes, I bought 2 gourds. They didn't have very many this year. Maybe theirs had the same end rot problem mine have had. I've got one growing for sure.
